Pulsed Field Ablation

The Mercy General Hospital Electrophysiology team had the privilege of taking part in California’s FIRST Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) procedures, revolutionizing treatment for atrial fibrillation.
The Dignity Health Heart and Vascular Institute is leading the way in Sacramento, in California, and we were one of the first four cases in the United States since this technology was approved by the Food and Drug Administration late last year.
PFA is regarded as a much safer and more efficient ablation strategy. Watch our video for more information.
