Great video! Ilove diy videos and upholstery video. Ive only seen a craftsy video on this and they didnt even shoe any sewing! Im sure a lot of people will appreciate this video!
whaduwhadu4 big question, it’s the idea the minimize the impact fashion has on the environnement. So in this case, I do a slipcover to make sure I protect the sofa to keep it longer and avoid creating waste and buying another sofa. 😊
I did another slipcover video, this time for a dinner chair using the pattern M4404 :)

Your cat is so cute, he’s like my cat whenever I’m cutting my patter or sewing, he loves to lay on the fabric 😅

Pay attention to the grain of the fabric..
Me: pays attention to the cat
He is such s distraction 😅

I recovered an old couch with bed sheets I got at the goodwill only I used a staple gun to hold it all down instead of sewing

May i know what fabric you use? And what do u call the white cloth u use to measure the sofa? Thanks in advance
Hi! I used heavy weight canvas for the final cover and muslin fabric for the measurements
@@andreanneabel3464 thank u so much!!
Thanks. This is my car too. Even looks like her.
Thanks for watching :)
Je sais pas si la question a déjà été posé avant, mais combien de mètres de tissus ça t'as pris pour faire ton sofa ? Juste pour avoir une idée.
6-7 m!
I need to figure out how to create one for my reclining couch
Oh that’s a challenge!
What are you using to hold it up
I am using sewing pins !
Thanks you explained it well
Beena Seymour D'souza thank you for watching! Happy sewing😊
I like your cat
Thanks for watching :) I like him too!
😮😮😮
Wow, t'as réussi😉! Il n'y a plus de limite à tes projets !
Johanne Chauvette merci beaucoup 😊
how many yards did you need for your sofa xxx
6 yards :)
First of all u should tell us about cloth how much we have to buy to make a cover
First of all it depends on the size of you sofa. For me it was 6 meters with width 150 cm.
@@andreanneabel3464 thanx
6 metres for 2 seater
"should"? How rude. Just be grateful she showed us the process. Figure out the rest!
How much fabric did you use?
about 5 m!
And what about width?
it was 175 cm !
thanks
Why did you waste time pinning the cushion covers? You just needed to cut them an inch more around and approximate the inch when stitching. Easier.
Yes it is easier. I didn't know better at the time, I just had started sewing.
Music sucks
This is such a big help to keep dog fur off the lounge as they will play to hard and the sheet comes off
Yes totally !
