Hi from another addict!! I have spent hours and hours in there before! There are no windows and I swear it's like a vegas casino where they don't want you to know what time it is by seeing sunlight!! haha. Every time I think about leaving the bring out a new bin - argh!!
Hahahaha ours has a BRIGHT green wall--I think it's to help keep it from feeling so dark inside, but it's a bit much. And I know what you mean--I'll be ready to walk out, then see them rolling out another bin. I have to use so much self control to stay in line!
GIRL! Come to a meeting STAT! haha Love it! We have yet to film in the outlet and are so excited to do it soon! You have inspired us!!! THAT TURBIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE NEEED ITTTTTTT xoxo
Seriously, I need a sponsor! I SO wish I could shop the outlet with you guys! I hope you find lots of goodies (though I'm sure that won't be a problem hahaha)
I just discovered the bins near my house and I totally get the addiction! I found 13 clothing items for $8.33 ($1.19/pound). Plus 2 gorgeous vintage lamps for .99 each and lastly tons of pantry organization for .49-.99/pound. Just ah-maze-ing!!!
Loved everything you got, especially the "ticket to paradise" top and silk embroidered jacket. So cool and out of the ordinary. I love that you experiment with your style, it is inspiring!
For the Peter Pan collared dress I would turn it from a long sleeve into a short sleeve, take off the bow and add polka dots to the collar with colored fabric glue
That dress is 100% better as a vest, love it! I recently got a cherry red polka dot vintage dress that I'm excited to remake. Definitely a bolder fabric than I would usually go for but it's so French chic I had to give it a try :)
Love the intro! I want a full black and white video now! I just bought snow tires so I won't have any excuse not to drive one hour to the better bins! The white red black of the judge's dress made your coloring pop. I was thinking a black leather studded belt, or make it into a top.
I live really really close and can't believe I haven't "bin" (sorry I couldn't help myself)! I need a change from my usual Thrift spots! Happy Thrifting :)
I bin shop on every Sat because I went back to work part time. I used to go when ever I wanted. Love bin shopping at Goodwill. I have found some really good treasures. And mostly never spend over $10
LOVE the bins. My best find was a designer vegan leather handbag that was originally around $200. Like wut? Also, I love the black sheer cardi you found! Can't wait to see how you style the turban hat because I too recently found a navy blue one at an estate sale!
I have a pay by the pound Goodwill Outlet about an hour away from me and I am embarrassed to say this but I'm scared to go!! LOL I'm not sure what to expect and I've heard stories about how stressful it is and all the people. Any advice you can give a bin virgin to get the courage to go and just jump in?
Don't be embarrased! I get this reaction pretty regularly when I talk about the bins. It's definitely a different experience. Be ready to dig, bring a BIG bag to put your items in, and if you have one, bring a rolling cart in case they don't have any carts available. There tend to be a lot of people and you really don't know what you'll encounter while digging, so be prepared for anything! Good luck!
Oh my goodness! If that judges dress was navy blue, I'd use it for a Halloween costume. Put on a bright yellow wide brimmed hat and you could be Madeline (from the children's books). I think it would work as black also.
I adore the judge's robe dress😊I would change out the bow to a thin scarf tied like a bow, or take it off completely, and add a cameo or other broach at the neck on the peter pan collar.Bring up the hem to about knee length, and pair it with some fishnets and red Mary Jane's😁 If the buttons at the neck area are just decorative, take them off, or change them out for other buttons. I would rock that dress!! Very cute!
I love watching your thrift hauls! For the vintage secretary dress I would add a belt and block heeled shoes or block heel sandles. I love that dress, it's the kind I like to look for.
I enjoy all your videos but this one has inspired me to try out the bins!! (There is a Goodwill Outlet not too far from me.) And your hair looks adorable pulled up in a bun!! 👍🏻
Hem and belt that dress and you're good to go! I've also made little tucks at the waist with safety pins in dresses when I didn't want to belt or sew... The "true life" part was SO FUNNY! You're so cute!
Haha Love you I am with you all the way, in Australia we don't have bins you are so lucky. Love your videos, always fun. Thank you lovely lady. Cheers Tricia. xxx
My two favorite thrift finds this year are a pair of Channel cork wedges and last week I found a pair of Dolce & Gabbana tweed pants with leather trim. I need to check out our blue hanger store (outlet ) great finds
You'd be so proud of me, Katie! I ventured to the Thrift Town you go to and found PRADA wedges (brand new AND legitimately real!)... for $24. They're not my size buuuut they are going to go up on my PM or eBay soon! I love the bins! I went to the one on Franklin and found some great spring sweaters from BR!
Shut the front door! Prada?! You go girl. And I've yet to be to the bins on Franklin. If you've been to both bins in the area, which one do you recommend?
ThriftYourHeartOut You are my inspiration! And I couldn't believe it when I saw the Prada either! Y'know... I've found Halston, Kate Spade, Boden at the Franklin location and it was early on in my thrifting when I went to the other. I think I might go this week to the one off 80 to see what luck I have since I know what to look for now. But Franklin is amazing! I also want to go to the Burlingame (SF) location to try my luck there!
Hi Katy! I loved the video! Maybe you could make a video showing how you style all your finds from the bins? I think that would make a really cool video :D
love the bins and addicted as well. last find was yesterday at the old weave shop that's now 4r? I think. anyways found Michael kors leather strappy heels in excellent condition for only $3.99 :) loves
ThriftYourHeartOut I would love to meet up with u and thrift. I look solely for designer. been doing it for years. haven't really started posh yet but thinking of adding more :)
YES!! I AM ADDICTED TO THE BINS TOO!!! lol I drive about 20 miles to get there. That's not a bad drive but I am actually about to stop going to the regular GWs because their prices are ridiculous!!! lol
FYI...I would keep the 'Pink Layer Top'...it is fabulous! Love the idea of using a dress for a open vest....I did that recently with a larger size full length long sleeved denim dress that is so so so freakin awesome...I will really enjoy wearing it too. That 'grey dress' looks great as a open vest...WOW...the last item, silk jacket! OMG...that is awesome! May I ask you a question here? When you are placing items for sale, are you cleaning, washing, dry cleaning the items??? Waiting to hear from you. Once I get a cell phone, I will look into 'poshmarlk'...can't do it currently... Sherry :)
Seriously, I think sleeveless dresses as vests are the new thing! And to answer your question, I tend to wash EVERYTHING from the bins, especially if I'm going to sell it. If it's from a regular thrift store, I may leave it unwashed and just hit it with Febreeze. I just don't want to risk ruining the item if it really doesn't warrant a wash.
OK...thanks for the information. But, I wouldn't use 'febreeze', it is toxic no matter what others say. And it is 'flameable' too...look on the interenet and see what you find.....
I kinda really like that judge's robe. It seems pretty current if you hemmed it to hit above the knee. It something I totally see Top Shop or ASOS selling. (maybe because those are European based brands?)
Love the hair katie , Wow i love the bins too but can't really spend money, so i'm not going as often as i would like to. I went yesterday with my kids and we scored. I tried making my first video on here but i'm shy😬.
I was thinking the bins would be great to get kids clothes since they grow out of things so quickly. The last time I went, they were packed with kids clothes! And don't worry--the more you do it, the easier it becomes! I'm sure you'll be great at making videos :)
Katie, I barley recognized you, you look so lovely, and adorable. The Bins is where it's at, my dear🙀 I know people who go 3-4 times a week😳 really nice haul, hope your sales are good, mine are in a slump of late, not sure why, but I guess it's just the way it is, good thing I don't have to depend on ebay for my living, some do and I feel bad when they aren't making enough. Anyway keep that cute smile coming and we will watch🦋
3-4 times a week?! That's impressive. And I'm right there with you--I keep going through slumps on Poshmark, then out of no where, I'll get a handful of sales. Here's hoping it improves for both of us!
On the judges robe dress, I feel like you could take the sleeves off and it would make it so much cuter! Maybe take the hem up on it too! Would be a total face lift for it!
diy the vintage dress and make it over the knee with 3/4 sleeve. I believe it would be beautiful especially with your curves. There is one lady that we both watch on UA-cam I think will be great person to do your alterations.
The Bins is another name for the Goodwill Outlet, which is a big warehouse filled with bins of clothing and other items that didn't make their way to the actual Goodwill stores. You can find some AMAZING deals!
How have I been a thrifty diva all this time and NEVER been to or even heard of such a thing! I looked it up immediately and found one! OMG. I feel like I just took the green pill! HAHAHA.What on earth did people do before UA-cam? I'm going to be there when they open in the morning!
ThriftYourHeartOut I wholeheartedly agree, that's why I watch other people's bin hauls with joy. And hey, when I do go, at least it gives me an excuse to stay at the bins longer, like "if the commute is going to be about three hours, I've got to stay that long to make it worth it, right?" 😉
did anyone else think she was flipping off the video or the thumbnail lol because of the mannequin.
YESSSSSSSSSSS bahaha
XoxoYvette lol, yes!!!!
Omg, I thought it was just me! hahaha
XoxoYvette oh my!!! YASSSSSSS! I thought I was trippin!
nice haul.
TFS
XoxoYvette lol!! I thought the same thing !!!
Do they have a 1-800 number for addicts? :-) Great video thanks
Hi from another addict!! I have spent hours and hours in there before! There are no windows and I swear it's like a vegas casino where they don't want you to know what time it is by seeing sunlight!! haha. Every time I think about leaving the bring out a new bin - argh!!

The addiction is real!! haha. We all have our vices ;)
ThriftersAnonymous STAT! Ha ha ha!!!🤣
Niiiiiice finds!!! I always love seeing what you get!!!
Yaaaaaaas! Welcome to Binoholics Anonymous!
Loved everything you got, especially the "ticket to paradise" top and silk embroidered jacket. So cool and out of the ordinary. I love that you experiment with your style, it is inspiring!
That's my favorite part of thrifting! I love trying new things!
That last jacket is to die for !! So beautiful :).
Liking this video just for the thumbnail! 😂
Yes! I thought the mannequin in the back was you flipping off the camera on the thumbnail! LOL Not until I pushed play did I realize. Awesome :)
hahaha everyone else was saying that! Oops!
Oooh that dress sounds like it will be devine!
The lipstick and the leopard print... it's doing things for me. goals.
Glad you liked it!
Love the intro! I want a full black and white video now! I just bought snow tires so I won't have any excuse not to drive one hour to the better bins!
The white red black of the judge's dress made your coloring pop. I was thinking a black leather studded belt, or make it into a top.
hahaha I thought it added to the dramatic effect. Maybe that is for the best--the bins are dangerous! And that's a great idea :)
OMG, I thought something was really wrong. You crack me up! You made my day.
hahaha I had to have some fun with this one!
OK OK! I have to go to "the bins"! I can't believe I haven't "bin" yet! :)
hahaha nice one! And just be prepared--it can be a little packed with people and fast paced as they change out the bins. Good luck!
I live really really close and can't believe I haven't "bin" (sorry I couldn't help myself)! I need a change from my usual Thrift spots! Happy Thrifting :)
Loved your pieces. TFS. Thrifting makes me happy!
Yaaay! Thrifting is the best!
Katie you scared me half to death. I thought you had bad news.😀 You are too funny. Don't get rid of your addiction bc I love watching you shop.
hahaha I'm sorry! I have to have fun sometimes ;) And don't worry--this addiction is here to stay!
I bin shop on every Sat because I went back to work part time. I used to go when ever I wanted. Love bin shopping at Goodwill. I have found some really good treasures. And mostly never spend over $10
Great finds Katie! You look so pretty and I love your hair like that.👍👍
Thank you so much!
Me too! “Bin” to Dayton, Indy, St. Louis, Chattanooga, Nashville, Ocala, Orlando, Oklahoma City, Little Rock, Phoenix, and Tucson. Addicted!
Bins are the best!
LOVE the bins. My best find was a designer vegan leather handbag that was originally around $200. Like wut? Also, I love the black sheer cardi you found! Can't wait to see how you style the turban hat because I too recently found a navy blue one at an estate sale!
Whaaaaat?! That is a seriously amazing find! And I'm looking forward to figuring out how to style the turban, so stay tuned!
I have a pay by the pound Goodwill Outlet about an hour away from me and I am embarrassed to say this but I'm scared to go!! Great advice! Thx!
Great haul! I'm picturing Audrey Hepburn on the "judge's robe" dress if you have it tailored to fit in the bodice and waist.
Oh my goodness! If that judges dress was navy blue, I'd use it for a Halloween costume. Put on a bright yellow wide brimmed hat and you could be Madeline (from the children's books). I think it would work as black also.
Oh my gosh I loved Madeline! That's a great idea!
I love Madeline too! You would be the PERFECT Madeline!
Yaaaay! Let me know how it goes! And just be prepared--it can be a little hectic and you'll have to dig for the good stuff! And thank you so much!
I love the bins too. And you can be really addicted without spending too much money or wrecking the car on the way home.
You're so right! I love that you can take a risk with your fashion because you're not spending too much!
Hem and belt that dress and you're good to go! I've also made little tucks at the waist with safety pins in dresses when I didn't want to belt or sew...
The "true life" part was SO FUNNY! You're so cute!
Hahaha glad you enjoyed it! And that's a great idea for the dress :)
I'm dying 😂

Haha Love you I am with you all the way, in Australia we don't have bins you are so lucky. Love your videos, always fun. Thank you lovely lady. Cheers Tricia. xxx
Thank you so much!
i love your judge dress! could be hemmed up to be a flowy top, but I love it as is. :)
I would pair that black dress with the red tie with some black textured tights and patent black shoes. I also love your hair up. as always great haul
LOVE that outfit idea!
My bins are 99 cents a pound and I'm also SUPER addicted! I will join BA with you!
That jacket was so unique and beautiful.
I love that one--such a great find!
Great finds! Your hair looks sooo cute in a bun! We are twins...I have that same tropical print sweatshirt and it is super comfy! xoxo ♥
Twinning! I fell in love with that sweatshirt!
My two favorite thrift finds this year are a pair of Channel cork wedges and last week I found a pair of Dolce & Gabbana tweed pants with leather trim. I need to check out our blue hanger store (outlet ) great finds
That's amazing! I've found a couple of decent brands, but not designer like that! Way to go :)
Great video. And love your lipstick!! Could you please tell me where it's from/shade name? Thanks!
Thank you! And I'm pretty sure it's "Limbo" from Colourpop (not 100% sure though). Their matte lipsticks are AMAZING.
Ok your personality has quickly won me over. I just love you! And I'm pretty sure we are each other's dopplegangers.
You're so sweet, thank you!
you are hilarious!!! I'm also addicted!!!!!
Yaaay! Love meeting fellow binoholics!

I L-O-V-E that "judges robe" style dress [black w/white peter pan collar and red bow/sash]. How can I findit?
I'm glad you like it! And I think I'm going to alter it and keep this one!
I don't blame you...my first thought was that it suited you!
I love watching your hauls because you and I have very similar taste
Hi Katy! I loved the video! Maybe you could make a video showing how you style all your finds from the bins? I think that would make a really cool video :D
I was literally just thinking of doing a "styling my finds from the bins" video! Stay tuned!
I've wanted one of those silk embroidered jackets ever since seeing one on a stranger on the street forever ago!!!!!!
Aww man! I had one up in my Poshmark closet, but it sold recently! I'm sending you positive vibes that you find one!
Love the finds...except for the "judges robe" lol
love the bins and addicted as well. last find was yesterday at the old weave shop that's now 4r? I think. anyways found Michael kors leather strappy heels in excellent condition for only $3.99 :) loves
Oh, the old WEAVE is now Atlas. I went there recently and found TONS of tops. Need to go back soon! Those shoes sound amazing!
ThriftYourHeartOut I would love to meet up with u and thrift. I look solely for designer. been doing it for years. haven't really started posh yet but thinking of adding more :)
Just found your videos! Love. I have no bins where I live in Redding. Hope to come down to Sacramento and try then down there soon.
Welcome to my channel! And it might be worth a trip to Sac--there are two Goodwill Outlets in the area!
El Oh ELLLL!! now I wanna dig through the bins lololol
hahaha It's super addictive! I hope you find some good stuff :)
use the " judge robe " for a Halloween costume, you could be Wednesday Adam's! !!
Hahaha that's what I originally thought!
YES!! I AM ADDICTED TO THE BINS TOO!!! lol I drive about 20 miles to get there. That's not a bad drive but I am actually about to stop going to the regular GWs because their prices are ridiculous!!! lol
I totally agree! I pretty much only shop regular Goodwills on half off day. Bins are the way to go!
Hi me & my sister are going to try the bins this weekend .Can you tell me where where in Sac this one is Thanks 😍❤
I go to the one on Date Ave, off of Madison, right by the freeway. Good luck!
Me too! My normal shopping buddies -- my daughter and my bff -- just don't appreciate the bins like I do!
hahaha it does take a particular kind to shop the Bins (but that just means more for us!)
I love watching Your haul. I love the outlet too ours here are only 89cent a lb. much more cheaper right lol.
Less than a dollar a pound?! That's crazy! #shoptilyoudrop
I kinda really like that judge's robe. It seems pretty current if you hemmed it to hit above the knee. It something I totally see Top Shop or ASOS selling. (maybe because those are European based brands?)
Oh my gosh, you're totally right. It's very "Wednesday Adams" chic!
Halloween outfit, Wednesday Adams :)
ThriftYourHeartOut Thank you katie your so sweet☺️.
I can see that turban styled like Old Hollywood. And the judge's robe - shorten it and rock it!
I'm looking forward to styling the turban and I think old Holywood chic is the way to go!
I have a question can you try on your finds at the bins?
They don't have fitting rooms, but sometimes you can luck out and use a mirror in the housewares section hahaha
I live in Lodi! I thrift ALLLLL THE TIME ☺ I need these bins in my life. They are in Sacramento? I'm 45 minutes away
The store I go to is on Date, just off of the Madison exit. I love it there!
Boy you almost got me ! I was wondering if I had a problem going to the thrift stores Whew. !!!!!! 😳😩🙄
hahahaha I had to have some fun with this one!
You could style the dress with the collar goth/Wednesday Addams and it would look amazing!
Love it!
If you can't think of any other ideas for the "judge's robe" dress, you could totally be Ruth Bader-Ginsburg for Halloween lol
hahahahahaha yes!
The judge's robe dress could be a really cute blouse if you alter it to make it shorter. :D
Ooooh, that's not a bad idea!
Get that vintage dress shortened and it would be a fab mod look!!
Ooh, love that!
Hey girl who did your makeup it looks really good I'm going to finish watching the video see you
Thank you! I thought I was having a nice make up day :)
Wow Nice 💕
Lol u had me with this intro 🤗
Hehehe
THE JACKET - don't even kid right now. I kinda hate you ;) So beautiful!
I know, I DIED when we found it!
On the judges robe dress, I feel like you could take the sleeves off and it would make it so much cuter! Maybe take the hem up on it too! Would be a total face lift for it!
Love that idea!
Lol. I was so worried for you at first. I thought something happened😅
hahaha I had to have some fun with this one!
I'm addicted to the bins. I need an intervention
I'm definitely not the one to intervene--I say, shop away! hahaha
True story! My bins charge $1.00 a pound for clothes. $2 for a pair of shoes- any pair!
That is SUCH an amazing deal!
be wednesday for holloween
Love your hair.
Why, thank you!
what bins do you go to in sac?
I like the one on Date Ave, right off the Madison exit :)
Re: Vintage Style Dress ... I forgot to ask you what size it is please
Every since I went to the GW outlet I don't want to go anywhere else. so yes I'm a binaholic!
Yaaaay! Another binaholic! It's the best :)
Omg you're too funny😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
diy the vintage dress and make it over the knee with 3/4 sleeve. I believe it would be beautiful especially with your curves. There is one lady that we both watch on UA-cam I think will be great person to do your alterations.
My sister and I also "bin binge". (Embarrassingly raises a hand)
hahaha It's such a great bonding experience to dig through bins together!
I am jealous, I have never seen a bin in my local Goodwill. Perhaps I am missing something??
The Bins is another name for the Goodwill Outlet, which is a big warehouse filled with bins of clothing and other items that didn't make their way to the actual Goodwill stores. You can find some AMAZING deals!
How have I been a thrifty diva all this time and NEVER been to or even heard of such a thing! I looked it up immediately and found one! OMG. I feel like I just took the green pill! HAHAHA.What on earth did people do before UA-cam? I'm going to be there when they open in the morning!
i got a jean shirt and its from the gap!!!
Yaaaaaaas!
Maybe remove the sleeves and belt it with a colorful belt. might be cute on the Judge dress
Love that idea!
I would be a bin-a-holic if my nearest bins weren't an hour and a half away. I have to make weekend excursions when there are no errands that day.
Oh boo! That's too far away!
ThriftYourHeartOut I wholeheartedly agree, that's why I watch other people's bin hauls with joy. And hey, when I do go, at least it gives me an excuse to stay at the bins longer, like "if the commute is going to be about three hours, I've got to stay that long to make it worth it, right?" 😉
I am too
Haha
your funny, new sub here....
Welcome to my channel!
I can do a 12 hour shift there, without a water or bathroom break.
Say whaaaaat?! You're a warrior!
Hi l see your videos ,
i like your clothes too much
Bin good lately?
hahaha good one!
Lol
