Thank you for the nice video, Keith. I’ve got an older model F250 and needed to change a flat. Your video was very helpful. Much appreciated, my Friend.

I have 2001 F250 Super Duty lw base w/extended cab gifted to me (used to be a fleet truck and its seriously been used) - so yeah, this video is a big help. Only thing is - I cant find the lug wrench and I don't think the jack is the one that came with it. Oh well - I'll get it figured out. LoL. Its good running truck though. Not bad at all for a freebie. Thanks for posting this vid! Much appreciated!!! (thumbs up)

Thanks Dave I appreciate that. Let me know if you need anything, I've owned my truck for about 10 years now and I know these trucks pretty good. It's been a very reliable truck and haven't had to do much of anything to it other than the usual's, brakes, batteries, water pump and alternator. If you haven't done it already do yourself a favor and go watch three channels on these trucks. DieselTechRon ua-cam.com/users/DieselTechRon. On my 06 F250 diesel, there is a 5 point socket that clips on the end of the rod. Then you slide the rod and socket through the bumper to lower the tire.
I initially could not figure out how to lower the spare until I found the socket.

It's a lock you can install to protect your tire. I removed mine because I couldn't find the tool to lower the tire with the key attached. Glad you were able to find yours. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

Where can I order the tool to lower/raise the winch. I tried ordering a Dorman brand one that didn't work from Amazon even the one I got from O'Reilly Auto Parts didn't work. The fitting on the end doesn't grip well to spin the winch clockwise/counterclockwise to raise/lower it. You gotta link or know where I can get one?

Some of these trucks people install keyed tire locks so that the tire can't be lowered or stolen using the factory tool. I had this problem on mine and had to remove the whole bracket to get to it. Unfortunately if your tire is installed you'll have to cut the cable end in the middle of the tire support that actually holds the tire up. Or find the key that's usually in the glove box or in the box behind the back seat. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but it sounds like you have the same problem I did. Let me know if that's the case and how you solved it. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

If you're having trouble getting to the spare be prepared for hell, but here are solutions
    1) locked on hoist mechanism
Solution: bang a socket wrench over and try to lower, if no go, try to twist and break it off
    2) spare tire key doesnt fit
Solution: hammer spare tire key into shape
    3) All else fairs cut it with a grinder, the whole hoist mechanism, order new one for $35

That's actually the Possitive Battery Cable Assembly. You can find on eBay here; www.ebay.com/itm/191810550469?epid=1711264528&hash=item2ca8ccbac5:g:NGIAAOSwnb5deph7 They cost around $150.00 bucks. It doesn't come with the Fusible Links but it does have the connectors on the terminal for them to plug into. Hope that helps. ** A small favor please, would you post that question on the Fusible link Video here please: ua-cam.com/video/cqSSOlzrRk4/v-deo.html
Thanks again for watching and I hope you found both videos helpful. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

I can do one better than that I can send you a link to the Factory Service Manual EL Section. It will show you every circuit in the car it runs and even where the connectors are and the color of the wires you should be looking at. Here's the link: www.nicoclub.com/service-manual?fsm=Pathfinder%2F1995%2Fel.pdf Let me know if you need any help with it. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
