Melting Spawn (Run to completion in Neon Knights)

Wow I can't believe it. After like 5 or 6 attempts at D5 (The Junction), I finally beat the game at level 26, against the level 30 boss rush in D4 (Midnight Lounge) and the level 45 hellspawn in D5. Way underleveled but still perservered, hell yeah. I beat the boss, which ironically might be the easiest part of the region (though I did know the boss is timed survival beforehand), looked up a guide to unlock D2B (Mantle-Core Depths), and got to D6 (???) and slept. Sweet dreams.
Speaking of "B-sides", it is funny that when I have beaten D5, I haven't beaten D1B (The Shallows) yet. It always spawns too much minions fo me to handle. After a short challenge of beating D1 with the smallest FOV possible (fully zoomed in on the player), I went back and beat D1B. I'd say it's about the difficulty of D3, which makes sense since beating D3 is a pre-requisite to unlocking D1B. I instead only focused on damaging the boss, and breezed through the boss quicky (probably because I leveled up a lot from my last attempt at D1B as well). I continued to D2B and proceeded to get my ass beaten, which also makes sense since beating D5 is a pre-requisite to unlocking D2B. The normal rooms are considerably harder than D3 but managable, but the boss is absolutely brutal. The attacks are quick and sometimes unpredictable (at least I don't see how to dodge it yet), like the "rolling" attack punishing low movement speed, and the laser attack is just ??????? (idk where the lasers shoot out and there is no time to react). Very brutal indeed.
Anyway, I'm happy I beat D5 against the odds, and it may be time to start grinding for a bigger goal, like 1/3/10 pillars, leveling up for more skill points, or the blank hollow event for the observer mask and suit. I know using cosmetics to boost stats isn't mid-game stuff, and I should grind for gun-building instead, but gun-building can go wrong, and you end up with an unusable gun, while costumes can at least look pretty in case you don't get the perk you want. Origin is still a very good and respectable perk though, I still chose 4 origins after buying a collection form Aera. the top and hair looks so-so, but the bottom and shoes are fine. Jumper-1a/1b is next on my list, looking stunning. Red gives me the feeling of power and dominace, while I'm a bitch for anything blue and it gives the feeling of tranquility.
By my calculations, if I earn 400 fake everyday until the end of the blank hollow event, I should be able to afford both the observer mask and suit. That's a lot of grinding, I don't know if I can do both.
