I was against a pet until my husband heard about a little puppy that had been left on the side of the road and picked up by a good Samaritan, i reluctantly agreed to bring him home. That was 10 years ago, and he is my constant companion, so loving and protective with our daughter, the absolute best dog we could have ever asked for, i cant imagine life without him under my feet at my desk, or cuddled up beside us on movie night.
I’m dying Elle… so I watched your channel when my kids were younger.. and literally it helped me with so much… and then the day you posted about your new puppy… we had actually gotten a 2 month old labradoodle the day before! It’s now my “3rd” child and I was laughing when watching this video because I’m doing the same!!! Can’t wait for all the new videos that include the new family member!
Rescue dogs often are not properly health and behavior tested, it’s impossible to track down the dogs family to pinpoint potential health issues, and you cannot guarantee that you’ll get the breed that is best fit for your family and home. The adopt don’t shop crowd really doesn’t seem to understand that the point of a dog is to fit into the family or provide a service. A rescue is a gamble, at best, and with small children around it is MUCH smarter not to make that gamble and instead go with something more likely to suit your needs. Rescues are bursting at the seams BECAUSE people make poor choices when selecting their dogs, and to return a dog after it has behavioral issues to the pound or to have to put them down after they’ve attacked one of the kids is far more damaging than simply doing your research and getting a dog from a reputable breeder.

I also have a mini golden doodle. He’s about a 1 and a half years old and he grew so fast! He’s about 20 pounds (he was the runt of the litter) and he’s the cutest thing ever. They also never shed.

My 13 (12 at the time) year old son wanted a pet dog and begged us to get one, so in the midst of our family’s busy lives we got a Corgi puppy. Now a little of a year later, this little guy (now a big guy) is now a part to our family! ❤
Absolutely adorable I would definitely recommend getting him off of the potty pad though. It creates bad habits with the whole rectangle thing. Congratulations on the puppy.

put a bell on a string and attach it to the door where the backyard is, teach him to ring it when he wants to go bathroom, we did this when my husky was a baby and thats we potty trained him in a month, but every dog learns at different speeds. Hope this helps
Lol Rocky is so funny and cute i also have a mini golden doodle and when we brought ours home she didn’t really crew anything up or destroy anything except for her dog pads when we came home so she was pretty well behaved. But i guess we may have also gotten lucky with her.
The reason he was not eating the kibbles due to the quality of the food or the taste . You can try feeding him nutritional meals which are homemade. They are easily available and provide monthly subscriptions 😊😊.
Omg i am sobbing I have a dog but bc of work - house and eveythign i dotn spend as much time as id wish for with my doggie and this just reminded me how great dogs are, loyal and cluless yet si creeful (pets in general) so- i am gonna go snuggle my pupp now TwT

I recommend putting water, bone broth, or goat kefir in the meals + scrambled eggs once a week and blueberries
