Still ended in skytoss. Kinda sad protoss is pretty much forced into it every high level game

This was a great game of Zerg vs protoss.
Also nice to see a ground protoss army for once.. well at least for the most of the game.
I was basically screaming the whole time... Such incredible play from MaNa!!! Hit every note a Protoss player like me looks for in a pro game! Juggling? Check. On POINT storms? Check. Incredible Purification Novas? CHECK. Late Game Skytoss? CHECK. Goddamn!!!!
It's so much better when you see the protoss go ground toss that's why I like trap and parting
Blizzard should do something with it. I know many people like ZvT as a best match up, but I personaly enjoy PvZ ground a lot more. So what about nerfing voids and buff something on protoss ground Blizzard huh? I know, nothing will happen 🤣

Maybe give high templars psi storm from the get go? Its an iconic ability, and one of the few that has to be upgraded, unlike siege mode or emp or fungal or abduct
@@wooiljung Nah, I think High Templars are fine as they are, since if they took away having to research it, they'd probably have to nerf its damage.
I do think however that Abduct needs a nerf somehow. I think a good balance update would be mildly buffing Blinding Cloud and Parasitic Bomb (lower energy cost to 75 and 100, respectively; down from 100 and 125) and *maybe* increase Viper health to 175 BUT make Abduct cost 100 energy and require research to unlock, maybe 125 minerals, 125 gas and ~75 second research time? Research could be at the Hive.
Really cool cast Lowko. I stopped playing SC back in 2005 after playing for years and man you just keep me wanting to get back into it with this commentary! Keep it up and well done Mana

funny I just watched an older MaNa game on your channel just before this, and during the match you kept describing it as a banger as wel. Seems MaNa makes banger games, and I want more lowko, I want more.
For much time of a match I've tought MaNa is going to lose (those damn zerglings clearing up his base), but high templar's Psoinic Storm is always the win. Greetings from Poland.
Same I also thought Raynor was making a comeback, the Zerg and Tarren eco have such an easy time recovering from damage that I never really allow myself to get excited about Protoss early game damage.
It was so intense.. Both sides, neck and neck, I couldn't tell who was winning and losing. MaNa and Reynor truly deserve their recognition. It was a cherry on top for Lowko to cast this game.
Mana really impressed that game! Going toe to toe with Reynor has got to be intimidating.

Reynors drone count was once so low, Lowko mistook the army supply for drones. So let's be real here, Reynor was dead from the beginning...until he wasn't but at the end the difference in eco from the start was just too big, hats off to Reynor though, this was once of the best almost comebacks I have ever seen. And well controlled from Mana, we all know he is one of the best PvZers in the world.
Probably one of the best games ive seen in a long time. And the most entertaining one for sure! Thank you for casting it ✌
wow no false advertising that was an absolute banger! Awesome game, I was cheering for mana ever since he had to deal with that insane push at the start. No idea how he survived that and kept his composure

I first saw Mana in Shoutcraft Kings, I think he was dismantling (Serral's)? Lurker play in those games. Been a big fan of his since then and he's only gotten better and better

We're all amazed at how well Mana played here, and I agree, he was amazing! However, let's acknowledge that if you 12 pool as a Zerg and it gets countered, usually it's an auto-lose. The fact that Reynor was able to make the game so competitive speaks to his ability.
12:24 Actually it was a pain to watch how 3 base 55 worker Protoss couldn't beat 2 base 41 worker zerg rather than the best game of the year.
It's so frustrating how Economically resilient the Zerg and Tarren are. Their economies are SOOO much stronger than the Protoss eco and it bothers me how much damage a Terran or Zerg can take and not be beaten. Meanwhile a few banes or widow mines get into a Protoss mineral line and it's GG
After a 12 pool and hatch in opponents natural, who expects it to end with a fun on sky-too vs sky-zerg.... with the Zealots warped in away from the fight to snipe the greater spire? That shows amazing preasence of mind and map awareness.

Once upon a time I played vs MaNa in the first round of some Starcraft 2 tournament and to this day I still have him in my friends list because of that. Needless to say he absolutely destroyed me :D
