Kensei probably has my favorite vanguard kit in the game. He has good defensive and offensive options, he is fun to play and to fight. Has to be my second favorite samurai with ma main man shug
no dodge cancel. no frame advantage. limited hyper amour. mediocre feat. Kensei is probably the biggest victim of power creep. i turn off chat when i play Kensei, tired of ridicule.
Kensei is consistently one of my highest scoring heroes for the least effort. It's like playing Hitokiri, with how easily he wins trades with his soft feint finisher armor. The thing most people lose to is literally just hyperarmour and dodge cancels, because it forces you to have advantage even when you shouldn't. Kensei has hyperarmour off of a soft feint so it automatically makes him good against most matchmaking players. He's about as solid as it gets.
@@victornguyen1175yeah man been off and on "maining" kensei since beta (played the alpha on ps4 but almost only played zerk) and very much same here, every dom match just feels like im lawn mowing everyone with side heavies almost regardless of skill level lol

No it shouldn't, that's one of the only ways to beat a spamming orochi
@@Swavae Bro that's not the only way to stop an orochi, instead is a way to do a heavy punish after any top attack (except of course unblockeables)
