- I saw potential for Portwell in 1x10 when we found out EJ bought Gina's plane ticket, but I didn't expect these two to work their way into my heart the way they did this season. They quickly made it onto my list of OTPs, as well as my list of favourite characters. Their journey has been so well written and such a pleasure to watch, and I'm so proud of how far they've come! But more than that, I'm so happy to finally see these two be truly happy! They so deserved this second chance at finding true love.
In case the intro is a bit unclear: I was going for the idea that these two started out with this image of what they wanted, but Ashlyn's words about it being good for EJ to not get what he wanted ended up being true for both EJ and Gina. And in the end they something much better, all through working together.
On a more general note: long time no see! I'm been so busy with the #SaveManifest campaign that I've had almost no time for vidding. But I've been so obsessed with these two that I just had to get those feelings out, so I've been working on this vid for a few hours here and there over the last few weeks. Another Manifest vid should be coming up soon, too!

Now that I’ve read the description about the intro, I realized that Ashlyn is one of those wise people in movies that know the path of people’s future. She told EJ in the first episode of season one that sometimes, not getting what you want is a good thing. EJ wanted to get back together with Nini, make their relationship stronger, and he was even willing to steal her phone. But Ashlyn’s words of wisdom were really true. EJ ended up not getting what he wanted, but he ended up getting something better. It took a while, it took two whole seasons to figure it out, but EJ got something better…

For some reason, Portwell reminds me of Naley from One Tree Hill. It may be due to the whole frienemy to friends to lovers concept. I think EJ and Gina will have that forever kind of love. They're so good together ❤

Normally I don’t comment on videos, but I have to in this occasion. This edit is outstanding! The way that we can hear and see the progression of their relationship throughout the video along with the fab music is just 👌👌, the parallels, the transitions, the EVERYTHING. I can’t express how much I love this edit, my favourite so far definitely. I hope this gets more views and recognition, you deserve it.

This is beautiful! I love it! And I agree they’ve been hinting at them as a possible couple since season 1! Glad someone else sees that and doesn’t think “they came out of nowhere” like some of the comments I’ve seen. And can’t wait to see the manifest video! Seems like the campaign might be going well if what I’ve seen is true about Netflix and NBC both been interested in another season now. 🤞 hope it works out this time!

To be honest, they DO truly deserve each other. They have gone through many things that only they can understand!! I love how their characters developed from season 1 to season 2. And they are the Best couples in Season 2 of HSMTMTS. I love them so much! And it is nice seeing them together all happy!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
