Colonisation of America? The scramble for Africa? The first dynasty of Egypt? The migration from Africa? And that's from the top of my head of events that would reflect on this map, so not counting stuff that happens inside a nation
Wowww, all the human history. Every empire, kingdom or republic, every battle, invention and human life, every moment of peace abd ware... everything in just a few seconds. Less than a breath for planet's scale time.
If you really want your mind blown about geologic time, I suggest you check out the various continental drift reconstructions to *really* put things in perspective. Algol and Christopher Scotese are a good place to start with those. Even the entire Phanerozoic (where multicellular life became common), starting a little over 500 million years ago, becomes a rather minor period compared to the ~4.5 billion years of Earth's history. Also, there's even larger time scales such as galactic timescales. Where a single galactic year is ~250 million Earth years. Humanity is a joke in the face of the vast amounts of space and time that the universe operates on.

Very nice! Thank you! It makes me think of how stupid is the idea of dying for ones' own country, while this is the mess which comes out of it anyway...
Well the modern country is very different than the ones in the past. Very few nations in history before the modern world actually had national identities. That was an 1800’s development that we live with today. I would die for my country.
@@masonpalmer6490 Those old times' peoples still had the feeling of their Family and Tribe. Which we don't have nowadays. It is replaced for love for nation which is sometimes good but not everyone even cares for their nation.
@@masonpalmer6490 That is partially correct. In ancient times, the idea of "nation" existed but in a more cultural way, not so tied to land. For example, the Romans, Persians, Mongols, Chinese, Japanese, Muslims, Jews, etc, etc, etc were very proud of their civilizations and wanted to make their states and kings very powerful so they fought very hard to forge empires. The idea of defence being morally better than attack was not there.
