As a noob, this is my strategy.
1- Spawn as scav, check your inventory, if its good sneak STRAIGHT TO EXTRACT looting what you come across. (use your phone or PC for map)
    2. Repeat for better gear. Sell whatever rare items you get or encounter. SAVE UP MONEY AND AMMO.
    3. Use collected items to build up a strong PMC. >INSURE YOUR GEAR PEOPLE<
    4. Repeat as needed, once you're brave and comfortable with the maps and game, see if you can inflict some damage with the PMC
    5. (very important) Stay out of firefights that are not worth the risk. That guy with a fully kitted AKM and armor will wipe the floor with your ass. Know when to engage and your odds of coming out on top.
    6. If your PMC loses everything, repeat the steps. 1 or 2 scav survival runs can almost get you a full kit.

James Davidson takes time and patience - I’ve played both console and pc my entire life and the one thing I see console players try is high sensitivity on PC - try using a low sensitivity, when on pc it helps make your shots more consistent and controllable, and work your way from there to find where you feel comfort. 0.5 sensitivity on tarkov is like level 9 controller on COD

Same, until I found a guy who let me actually play the game I really didn't learn anything or get good kills/plays by myself. If you do wanna play duo's do it with someone who isn't gonna baby you the whole way. Your duo should be encouraging you to make different (ideally better) decisions than you normally would, and vice versa. But at the same time if you aren't killing a good majority of shit on the map/hitting major loot spots first, you won't make shit for money. If all you care about is $ then in the end play solo and brute force learning the game like the rest of us old players, wiki is your best friend lmao just read the entire thing basically. Personally I get offended if I'm not involved in a firefight but being a little rat swiping every piece of loot before everyone else is good to get money for keys/gear/etc.

If I had only one tip for learning this entire game, it's this: Headshots. Learn how to consistently, smoothly shoot for heads, because often times a single shot will down someone if you hit them in the head, otherwise they can soak up a ridiculous amount of damage to the torso, staggering you while they shoot until one of you ends up dead. This is essential with pistols, but is extra deadly when done with actual weapons. Go into offline and just practice only aiming for heads on Scavs. It takes time to learn the sort of floaty aiming of Tarkov, but when you have it down you will be one tapping multiple enemies in rapid succession like John Wick or something, and it isn't even that difficult at short to medium ranges.

I feel like the hardest thing to work around in EFT is the anxiety. After you're through that phase, it doesn't matter too much if you play solo or in a group, since you'll be more focused on objective thinking about your plays. Both ways require the same moves from each player, more or less, with parties being more focused on actual tactics. That said, I'll agree that solo play is good for you. It's just not exactly the best way to learn. To each their own.

Got to agree with the going lone wolf to help learn. I have been playing initially with a level 20 friend and I felt like I was just being dragged around and I didn't really learn anything. I started running with a friend who is level 5 like me and that has been fun as we have been learning things together and getting into some proper messy situation.

As someone pretty new and still learning the game, the best thing you can do is just not be afraid and don’t hesitate. Shroud has said that this game isn’t like a battle royals at all but I definitely get the same feeling in this game that I did when I first played PUBG: being too scared of getting into fights because you don’t want your run to end. Doing that only makes you less prepared when a fight inevitably does happen and prevents you from the opportunity of getting better at netting kills to rake it big hauls of loot. Something else I’m learning is that every death should teach you some kind of lesson, which means the more you get out there and die from lack of experience, the more experience you’re now gaining

“Super fun and way easier” although I would say I’m above average on competitive games and such, but EFT is a completely new playing field for how much effort is needed - I’ve played games similar to this but it’s a whole new experience
I don’t mind dying and losing my gear but when I get one tapped across the map by someone when I have fairly good gear just gets tiring - or people who farm Factory all day that Insta-peek you in the head when you first spawn but I’ve been improving and working on getting better

Absolutely! I am comming from over 15 Years Counter Strike and several other competetive FPS. So i started with tarkov way too over confident and got absolutely destroyed. Tarkov is a completely different genre, good reflexes or a good aim is just not enough. That's probably one of the reasons why there is a lot of players over the age of 30 doing pretty good. Pestily and Deadly Slob or Kotton for example.

Honestly for me, starting off playing with others helped way more than playing on my own. 1. I actually retained what we were doing and why we were doing it 2. When I used to play alone I would be too afraid of going for geared players or into spiced areas and playing with even 1 other person gave me more confidence even when playing alone to do spicy shit. Even if you do get babied in the beginning just pay attention to what the person babying you is doing.

Playing with others on new maps is easier to learn extracts tbh. Just by memorizing where they travel by following certain landmarks or which directions to travel to which extracts can really help. Atleast for when its the first few runs. Learning other stuff like scav spawns off the top of your head and player spawns are great for solo players

Best way to pack your 5.45 mags:
    1. 7 igolnik and 23 bs.

    3. For hunting scavs or eco use 10 bt and 20 ps and avoid pvp.

I fully believe you can learn at the same pace if not better with a person than playing solo. I understand what shroud is saying but if you have someone that doesn't hold your hand and puts you in charge, gets you to go first, choose where to go, where to loot and what to look for its just as fun and rewarding as playing solo with the added benefit of playing with a teammate. Luckily, my friend was kind enough to do this and it's how I learnt the game for the most part.

Streamers are more used to playing alone a lot of the time. I wouldn't start with a 3 or 4 man team but you and a buddy would be absolutely fine and it helps your survival rate while you learn.

tl:dr the way to get good is 3 factors, knowledge, skill and prep, having the knowledge to plan your route through a raid and to efficiently/effectively engage targets (like what ammo types work against what armor) having the skills to out-maneuver your opponent in combat, outright shooting better and learning what safe routes to take or ideal places to reposition to without accidentally engaging another opponent and finally the prep, the gear to execute your strategies and enhance your skill be it better ammo, a new optic, grenades or medical equipment.

In my opinion I think at the very start it's good to have someone help you on the first few raids to help you adjust. Then afterwards when you know some basics you can solo. My brother's friend has been carrying me in my raids by finding all the loot for my raids and just telling me what to do. I can learn some useful tips but i dont learn much and it definitely isn't as fun. I want to strat soloing to learn more but alr lost lots if gear before when i tried it so I'm still nervous but it's what i have to do to learn and improve.

    • @Spladoinkal
      @Spladoinkal 4 роки тому +1

So I was a pro musician for years before starting a career in I.T. The best way to get good sound that sounds as close to the original intention as possible is to look up a video for "Pink noise for stereo tuning" and adjust the EQ so the static sounds the same volume across all frequencies. Pink noise is noise that's calibrated to sound completely even to the human ear so if volumes of different frequencies DO sound louder or softer, you know that you need to adjust them. If you aren't happy with the sound, you can always adjust it from there to your liking, but at least you'll have a baseline.
