Always and forever... I love you David... you put me in touch with the best parts of myself. Thank you for sharing yourself with us. Thank you for shining your light so brightly and showing us how to find our own inner. light.
The "Black Tie White Noise" album in my opinion was a solid album. Especially after the "Tonight" (from 1984) and "Never Let Me Down" (from 1987) albums was not critically praised. I think that he during much of the 1980´s made some forgettable pop/rock songs because these songs could be played on MTV and the radio and sell well. I think that after Tin Machine he went back to during some more experimental music again and he was getting creative again. I have a lot of respect for David Bowie and even now when he´s dead his music still means a lot to me. :)
PARDON ME!.... BUT I had no clue David Bowie had any other band at all other than his solo band! Is Tin Machine his first band? Someone please fill me in.
Tin Machine was a band he had formed when his last 2 albums flopped, because he didn't know what to do, later describing it as a mid-life crisis. They had 2 albums. In 93, he got back to doing solo albums.

I just love watching his brilliant mind work.

Correct me if I’m wrong, wasn’t Black Tie White Noise dedicated to Iman?
Such a brilliant person. Miss him horribly.

He is so angelic
Good interview....thanks
man could he rock - and get the right band together - that also requires genius!
The cameraman was drunk, wasn't he? Some weird zooming during an otherwise very interesting interview!
Thanks for sharing. Shared on my website.

Church's black shoes, very nice and not cheap!
Spot the Zappa reference from the interviewer. She quoted my thoughts exactly!
Did he mention recording another Tin Machine album? That never got released...
He wanted to do a third one but it didn't happen 😫

Tin Machine was awesome and my first album I purchase in 1989.
@@malcolmedwards2679 Was it his first band? I had never heard of it until now.
@@tanner3285 Yes it was his first band as David Bowie and very underrated.
@William White Although as David Jones I believe.

Adore him . . . . . . but that was, IMHO, the worst album he ever made. I think he thought it was the worst he ever made.
That's because you never heard Toy, Reality and Heathen
@@marcelob4132 the 2000s disappointment trilogy
blah blah blah...incoherent
Maybe you were not paying attention, because it all makes perfect sense to me
You're dumb? Or just a troll? Maybe both
Why are you watching an interview then?
Why watch it??that was a good interview.
'Incoherent' and not understanding are two completely different things
