I just purchased a 1974 AMC Gremlin about a month ago. It's been a fun little car to work on, and to learn. Nice to see I'm not the only one trying to get one on the road.
Great video. I was wondering about that jet rod spring (mine is broken). BTW, don't use brake clean in the carb. Burning it in the engine creates toxic gas.

It was rebuilt poorly now we are going to rebuild it less poorly. Omg story of my life and career
It starts first try now and I have an accelerator pump. I'm happy with that!

Seems like that heat tube is impossible to find for the choke
It's 5/16 I believe... Most people use brake tubing to make one.... I'm converting mine to electric choke....
Its missing the tube from the Accelerator pump
