Me encanta! hermoso huerto, que se multiplique todo el amor y consecuencias de una manera colectiva de pensar, todos somos uno. Saludos desde México.
Yes, absolutely! Thank you so much, I'm glad you like the concept =)
You are the most insipiring person I have ever seen in youtube! Love your teachings!
Thank you so much mate, I really appreciate your support 😊
Youve quickly became one of my favorite gardening youtube channels, very humble yet knowledgeable..
norwegian nignog thanks a lot for your kind words, I really appreciate your feedback ☺️
Awesome video, 10/10! I love moving ladybird-larvae around my garden to where the aphids are multiplying, they are amazing. Horsetail is an easy-to-collect plant which - made into a 'tea' - also helps against biting insects as well as various fungi. I use Tagetes plants (like you) to divert insects' attention. They flower in a vibrant orange and are still blooming in my patch now, when most other things are dying.
laydnshaft thank you so much :) mine too are still blooming now and thank you for sharing your tips about pest control :)
Horsetail tea, do you know if it repels mosquitos 🦟? They are so bad in Texas
G'day 🇦🇺 I've been watching your gardening adds and tips and your cooking. Love your garden and I like you old mate 👌 👍 🌻🌻🌻🌻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻

Nadia Nardelli thanks 🙏🏻
Another great video mate! I loved that park in North London when we went there last time, still have some of the plants we picked too 👌
Bart Steccanella thanks mate! We still got lots of dry flowers 😊
Entendi que vc fez um repelente para plantas ok?abraço do Brasil.
Yes, that’s what I did! Hugs from London 😊
I use neem seed meal. This is neat. Lovely garden. Stay elevated brother.
Thank you so much!
@@SpicyMoustache I'm redoing my entire garden. I love your use of space. You have such a beautiful garden in such little space it's amazing.
@@therealdrhankmccoy5047 thank you so much :)
Super helpful!
Jacob Szymborski thanks for checking the video and I’m glad it helps :)
Stinging nettle "tea" is also a good fertilizer. I can see how with the garlic it repels pests. Healthy plants are also stronger against pests.
Is there really a need to peel the garlic? I'd think just crushing it well would be good enough.
Yes, it’s definitely a good fertiliser. I recently made a full video explaining all about nettles fertiliser. That’s actually a really good point, I always peeled it following the original recipe that I’ve been thought but I guess just crashing it would be enough 😊
Me encanto'! Saludos desde Colombia!.
Love it ale! Great video 🔥
maria teresa dacoreggio thank you 🙏🏻😊
inspiring content, i like it a lot!
ive got a question/idea though:
pest control seems reasonable, but arent there species that i actually want to keep or cultivate, that might get killed/pushed out of the garden ecosystem by the use of such anti pest solution ?
what are your 2 cents on insects in a garden ?
gracie and greetings from germany

Hello! Thank you so much for your videos, I am a new in gardening in Northern Ireland. What type of nasturtium are you recommended? There's a lot different varieties. Thanks
Hello 👋 welcome to the channel and thank you for the feedback 😊 you can get any sort of nasturtiums and they will all work the same way!
@@SpicyMoustache Super! Thank you. All of them are edible?
@@susylakatos yes they are! The entire plant is edible including the seeds :)
@@SpicyMoustache Thanks for you answer!
Ciao Allessandro, come fai con i squirrels? I have just got a new allotment and I actually have a sycamore tree full of ladybirds and have nasturtium, and was spraying my plants with soapy water as a deterrent, then found squirrels were eating everything I planted, even the baby chilli peppers in bud and digging up all my seedlings and anything I tried to plant.. I think netting is the only thing that will do maybe?
Ciao :) honestly I’ve never had this issue before but I usually leave some seeds in the bird feeder and they prefer eating those and leave my plants alone but yeah, netting would be the only way to keep them away
Hey, thanks for the great tips! I followed you recipe and my nettle solution is almost ready to be used. One thing I have a problem with is the smell od the solution as I am planing on spraying my chillies on a balcony. Do you have any experience as to for how long is the smell still noticeable? I tried diluting a small amount of it as you said and it still had a really strong scent. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!
Hello, if you dilute it properly it won’t smell for long after the application. Have a look at how to make LAB, it helps to reduce the smell of the solution :) however, I assure you that it fades away after a day or two
I have stinging nettle that grows wild in my yard starting late October. Can you freeze it to save for later. I saw today that they are starting to come up already. So I will be making this in the next week or so as it gets large enough to harvest. Now to control the growth in my yard...
Hey, don’t freeze them as it’s much better to use them fresh when full of enzymes and beneficial bacteria :)
I forgot to ask you how long that batch you made in the bucket will last? You said to spray weekly for 2 or 3 months.
Okay, I will not freeze the nettles. Those things hang around for a while. I have to mow with a bag because they spread like crazy and I have dogs.
What is the plant that is macerated with garlic?
It’s nettles and you can find them anywhere. They thrive really good around urban areas 😊

How do you keep stray cats out of your garden ?
Chelsae Kay you could use perlite as it seems to repel cats or apply mulch on top of your planters/soil. It will compact after a couple of weeks and they won’t dig at all. Otherwise, place nets over your planters and just cut holes where you plants are.
Spicy Moustache thank you sooo much
He has a video for foxes and cats and he used geraniums for a tea spray if I am correct.
