Not pressing charges for swinging is CRAZY after they tried to take your baby

I am 64, and I remember those days that you were talking about. Running around the neighborhood with the other kids, and our parents didn't have to worry about something like this happening. My dad worked alternating shifts, so when dad was on the night shift, mom would get the 5 of us kids to go outside so dad could sleep because he'd been working all night. Don't know what she'd do with us if we were growing up today!

    • @WendyJoJohnston
      @WendyJoJohnston 18 днів тому

I am also 64, I have two younger brothers, and we lived what you described. Mom would tell us to go outside, to be quiet around the house, and not to wake Dad up, or there would be hell to wake Dad up. So we began to roam, but those are stories for another time!.

I would like to say if they really handled that well. It’s such a relief to see good policework videos. I see so many bad police work videos.

There is a reason why the Constitution says they are innocent until proven guilty. It seems right to jump right in and punish people, but it's not. Too many times people have been lynched who were innocent. So follow the law. "Innocent until proven guilty" LEGALY in a UNBIASED Court of Law.

Yeah, it's wild. We used to go outside to play all the time. Basically unsupervised. We would roam pretty far from the house. Nobody around there messed with kids. Never had anyone try to lure me anywhere or take me. It's wildness.

My 8 year old daughter refuses to play outside without one of her older sisters because she’s scared she’s going to get kidnapped. Makes me so sad she feels that way, yet happy that she’s aware of the crazy in this world.

You should check out "Mom Realizes Police Discover Her Terrifying Secret" (a lady in military garb is in the thumbnail)... It is about 1 hour long but it is probably the craziest crime doc I've seen in a hot minute.

Would have to agree! i've seen tons of crime doc's and video's on youtube but that one was different. I loved it in a bad way.. i really enjoy body language, or watching video's where we later know they're being deceptive etc. so RIGHT off the bat her reaction is just.. odd.. then the interview/interrogation?? good lord like she's upset for being there, like the cops are bugging HER. Watching all that unfold had me on the edge of my seat wondering how bad it really was. turns out? pretty fuckin bad... and the Ending? crazy.

Police officers only have to mirandize an arrestee before questioning. They aren't asking him questions yet. They will most likely wait until they get him in front of a magistrate and for the detectives to arrive for interrogation.

Ok after watching this twice it seems like , the people who used to live across the street from the couple who called the police. Come back to their old neighborhood, to maybe let their son who was in the van visit the kids that lives there!?
Now thats me giving the couple in the van alot of the benefit of doubt.
There's always two stories, and of course both are different " but normally there's a little truth in both.
Ohh yeah. Whenever you said you don't care about his rights, that's not cool at all.
There's so many people who get away with horrible crimes, because of their rights being violated.
Something else is going on with these people, not just one couple but both couples. It might come out eventually.

This is literally a 180° from what drew me to this channel. I found you because of Bo Burnham, I stayed because you were doing all of the comedy music and actually doing stand-up as well. I stuck around because as you morphed you started doing a lot of intelligence (space and animals ect). I'm also on the spectrum and I felt such a kinship with you. Yet most days make me question why I am still subscribed. When you announced the discussion channel I was super excited for old school mr.lboyd content. But that's once every 2 months.
I truly hope that this comment doesn't come off as complaining, it just seemed like you were truly enjoying yourself back then. I love ya man, and I respect your brain.

_"If this is true, go ahead, violate their rights!"_
Haven't we learned anything with cases like the Amber Heard VS Johnny Depp and many other cases where someone has been falsely accused of something? Declaring someone guilty because of some allegations and, I assume, because of their looks isn't OK. If they're guilty, sure, throw the book at them _(preferably one of those old, heavy phone books! 😉)_ but until then, we've seen too many cases where someone falsely accused a person just because they didn't like them.
