***** True, but when they met the dwarf, it happened a bit like this, just with apples.. but you're right, they never had any relationship in the book..
+Abigail Rockhill They actually thought that they were overdoing the Susan/Caspian angle so they replaced this with a simpler scene where the Telmarine scout is spotted by a sentry.
yeah may be thats ths reason the ending of the movie was a big surprise susan and caspian don't even talk to each other throughout the whole film and in the end kiss each other like they both know they love each other
In the first film/book Susan and her siblings spend decades in Narnia fighting in wars, leading armies, and learning combat. So even without her special bow she and the others are skilled warriors.
Actually in the books, Susan was the only one who wasn't a warrior. She had the archery skills, but didn't like fighting and killing. A lot of people don't, understandably enough, and she was simply different from her siblings that way. (Lucy fought in wars.) In movies, though, female characters have to be "strong", which for some reason always seems to mean physically strong and fierce.
In the movies they look so watered down like they are decades old yet they look like they have zero experience and need help at every point ..I wish they were shown as very mature and skilled
I first read the books but I wasn't 12 yet, so too young to watch 'the prisoner of Azkaban' but old enough to watch Narnia, so I always imagined Ben Barnes as Sirius. For me Ben Barnes will always be Sirius Black or at least young Sirius.

okay so they could both hit (or come really close to hitting) a pinecone up in a tree a thousand feet away but they both missed the fully grown man riding slowly by on a horse?
No, in the books Susan explains to Caspian that she never kills before firing a warning shot first, that is why in the beginning of the movie she hits the boat instead of the soldier at first.
Doesn't santa say in the first movie that all she needs to do is believe in the bow and then she will never miss?? If that's the case she indeed has no right of speaking

come on, a crossbow doesn't take as much skill as a bow and arrow. It's the same as a gun, trigger and all. But great scene anyways. If Caspian didn't get together with Romandu's daughter, I'd have wanted him to be with Susan :)
it's funny how they were so innocent about the susan/caspian thing. it was just a bunch of looks and then later caspian did something bad and suddenly she was acting like they had this serious relationship and now she's mad at him for what he did. lol i get it but it was just funny to me
This actually happened in the book, only Susan competed with Trumpkin, not Caspian. It was when Trumpkin first met the siblings and they were demonstrating to him how they had skills even though they were children.
I can see why they deleted this one - Susan's supposed to be training the army, then Caspian comes and interrupts with flirting? Not great conduct for the future king.
