Yeah because this thing might hold together but its not stable it will hold together when finished but it feeld verry unstable and bendy
The exterior lines of the Venator were very good, but it was a mistake not to build the hangar and not to make the large hangar doors in the middle retractable. I think Lego should make the hangar and doors in the next series, then I think it will be a UCS legend.

Awesome Review. The only reason im not going to get it right now is that there is no interior. Thats the only reason i bought the at-at. Huge interior.
It's a UCS set. People who want an interior in a UCS set are idiots
The ucs at at is minifig scale so it makes sense there is an interior, this set it not, tho they still could have included a bridge

I’ve watched the clone wars show 9 times over since 2020 but without season 7 I’ve watched it about 12 times. So ya I like the show and I am so exited to see that box at my doorstep soon
Cool video! I personally love the venator, despite it being way to much money for me, I think it looks amazing and is a very good looking lego set
Indeed these sets do need to go down in price
It’s a well designed set, but I personally prefer the UCS Star Destroyer because I prefer the source material. Star Destroyers are just cooler looking to me while the bridges of Venators look goofy. I would like this set better with grey bridges because I am not a huge fan of the red bridges.
It for sure always depends on your preference of the source material. As a huge prequel fan, I'll always rank the Venator higher. I actually own the ISD, but have not built it yet... You can always rebuild the bridges in grey as well - that's the beauty of LEGO 😉
@@mattmellish I was thinking of getting the Star Destroyer now that I can afford it, but, being discontinued, it is even more expensive. It is hard to spend a grand on LEGO, but it is by far the most striking LEGO set for me personally. I would love to hear your thoughts when you build yours.
@@c-samleystudios1573It is a stupid cool set, and I’ve had no issues with plates and things loosening under its own weight. I will say, with the ISD, be careful picking it up. There are external parts that are easy to knock off. And beware of cats.
The star destroyer is one of the worst ucs sets. Boring build, fragile set, wy way to colourfull inside and the inner colours showing through all that ehile haveing a astronimical orice tag of 700$ and haveing even less parts then the venator
@@Karottenregen The colors peaking through does suck. I looked at a render on Mecabricks and without the shadows there is so much color showing.
Did you notice that both bridges curve up a little once the other pieces are placed on it?
The engine sag isn't nice but it could've been worse. You can see the technique that reduces the sag from what it could've been.

Not trying to say you did something wrong, but the engines on mine don’t sag at all. They are perfectly straight. Perhaps you didn’t line up the power miners wheels exactly as shown in the instructions? That makes difference when building the columns on the inside. The way the piece is rotated matters for the final look.
Yes this is one MandrProductions noted is less sag on the engines than other sets, I was curious as well if he missed something.
I dig it. And i want it. Just not at $650. I always try to get stuff under retail price if i can. But that engine sag really bugs me. Bummer.

Why the millenium falcon(2017) is still avaible on the website,but the imperial star destroyer (2019) no??? The logic??? Why?
Millenium Falcon sells more so it was not discontinued like the Star Destroyer.
I put this up next to my UCS ISD, and it just looks much less substantial. It actually made me less excited for this one. I had to move it.

One month on and now we now rex will not stay exclusive but will be put in a microfighter. So no it's not worth it imo, not if your going to buy it for the figs.
