- The market where you can buy absolutely anything and everything... Naka Market, Phuket's weekend night market in Thailand.
Whether you want street food, to watch some live music, to do some shopping for fake designer clothes OR... to buy a puppy, this is your market!
The place is huge and you could easily spend an evening there, the shopping is genuinely good and whatever you need, you'll likely be able to find it here.
The market is open Saturday and Sunday evenings until around 11pm and is near to Phuket town.

Thank you, JB
Man i love how you bargain and get straight to the point
Haha thank you man, I’ve got some experience over the years 👊🏻🤣
OMGosh I haven't been to Thailand for a few years. I love Naka market and can taste the mango sticky rice ....drool
The best market I’ve been to here and mango sticky rice is the best there is 🤣🙏🏻
I’m going to naka market tonight for the first time so this video was helpfull. you have good haggling skills but a little pointer for you mate…
A few times you talked about the positives of the product you was looking to buy “Oh this has mesh lining” “These have zips” etc. When looking to haggle talking about the positives of the product gives the seller more bargaining power because he can compare the product you want to a poorer quality product that doesn’t have said positives to justifie the price 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Enjoy the market, the best market in phuket for me 🙌🏻! It’s been a while since I’ve watched this video but if I remember right, I didn’t want the mesh as it was so hot out there so it might’ve came across like that was what I was looking for, but it was actually a negative (to me). Either way, taken on board thanks 👊🏻 enjoy Thailand!
New Sub here ,i liked your negotiating Style it cut out all the messing...Cheers mate look forward to seeing all past and future vlogs.
Thank you mate, straight to the money 🤙🏻 - plenty more to come 🌎
I jst discovered this channel and ı'm amazed .. Everything abt this video is simply perfect💯👏
Thank you very much! Plenty more to come 👍🏻
Haggle master🤣😅😅
Awww those lil dogs 🥺
Haha, just trying to get a fair exchange both ways ;)
In Canada I ordered Mango Sticky Rice and it wasn't even half of that portion you show in the video. They charged me 10.00 CND. Which is equal to 263.40 Baht.
It's crazy I had the same in the UK and it wasn't half the portion or quality!
Nice video mate. I think Roti is the other big Thai dessert but if you get to know some Thais get them to take you to the food courts, they know stuff🤤
Haha next time I’m there I’ll get the locals to hook me up, I didn’t love the Roti I had previously, maybe I need to try another 🙂
I went to that market w my 4 kids and they really wanted the Thai Boxing shorts! The shop keepers were not budging from their price - so I pretended that I had to leave to meet our driver and kept saying out loud “We got to go now! Got to get the taxi!” And at the same time I bargained w my offer , and said to the shop lady “I havent got time! We have to leave” and gave my price for 3 shorts ! It worked! 😂
You've got haggling down to a fine art!
A lot of experience and a tight budget will do that 🤣
So much bargains here .. be kind to them
Always kind to everyone 🙌🏻
😎mad haggling skills. Are you just filming all of this on what looks like an iPhone in the end scene? Any external mic?
I had zero plans of doing a vlog this video, so almost all of it was on my phone, then it died and I went home and got a GoPro for the last 10-20% of the video. No external mic for the whole thing 😅. Thanks!
@@joshbonthemove Thanks, hoping to pack light (just a carry on) for my trip, (pick up whatever needed when I arrive, hence the haggling video being super useful) don't want half my bag being just content creation gear though. Just a good iPhone and a selfie stick/tripod I guess. 🍻
I’ve watched all of Thailand, great info
Thank you :)
@@joshbonthemoveI like watching info about Thailand but no way I would go visit. Why tourists buy brands when we have great originals brands in JD , adidas and etc.
I give it up to you bro 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 u are a certified black dude from USA 💯💪🏼
I’m not quite sure what you mean but thanks I guess 🤣👊🏻
WHAT THE F..... is no one concerned about the puppies locked in cages too small with no water, puppy clearly separated by its Mum. This is a pretty sad thing to see.
It's never nice to see any animal in a cage, they've got a much higher chance of finding a home being at this market tho 🙌🏻
I'm in patong I'm so drained from this rip ofs anyway I'm sick of to high prices.
It's so tiring but it's good to learn how to go low be good to myself.
❤❤❤❤
Ooh I feel sad with puppies 🥺
It’s not ideal but these should all go to a home and aren’t just left as strays… pros and cons 🙏🏻
As tourists to Thailand, it would be helpful if we know what the local prices are for products. Helps with haggling 😂
Isn’t part of the fun finding out what you can get it for ;) 🤣
Jokes aside, I really think it comes down to the quality and what you’re willing to pay for it but generally if you go from stand to stand and get an idea of the average price you can then work from there (PS - different markets or shops in different areas will vary the prices) - hope this helps 🤙🏻
@@joshbonthemove Actually I’ve learned a lot from your videos on haggling. Ask for half first.. price comes down, haggle some more.. then walk away. Then they’ll come down again. Lol
@@Unplugged704 Lol you've got it! Thanks for the comment and I hope that I've helped save you some money 😏
ขอบคุณมากที่คุณชอบสินค้าไทย
Thank you, great country 🇹🇭🙏🏻
Helpful that geeza ta
No problem mate 🤙🏻
Is there a price negotiation on every thing you buy in Thailand
It sometimes feels like it but no, generally speaking food at restaurants and food in general is a no go with negotiation and if someone gives you a good price right away, it could be because that’s their genuine, final price so I try to respect that 👍🏻
what days does this night marke run from?
4/5pm -11pm on Saturdays and Sundays 👍🏻
200 Bhat in Pattaya for the shorts
Thanks for the tip 👍🏻
Pattaya Night Market open 10-2200hrs 2nd road behind Central Festival mall
Poor puppies🥺💔💔💔 locked in a tiny cage 12hrs a day if not 24/24. You can sell animals without cruelty.
It’s possible but you’ve made a big assumption.
breaks my heart seeing all them animals in cages : (
I mean they’re selling them to go to a good home. It’s not ideal but they can’t just be running around the market?
😭 P R O M O S M
Huh?
Surprised you didn't haggle over the price of the juice...
Good suggestion, thanks for the comment 🙌🏻
@@joshbonthemove😂
I feel that you are haggling over 1 pound…these poor people have struggled for years. Just pay the pound and be done with it.
Actually what’s going on here is me asking for the same price that I got quoted from another stand because I liked the person and wanted to give them business & money for something I didn’t really need/ want. Then I tipped them afterwards once they agreed on the price that their competitors were offering. It’s difficult to show the entirety of a situation in a video but that’s why you shouldn’t always jump to conclusions 👍🏻
Btw - I go here 3-4 times per month and spend money every week, whilst living here and not on a holiday budget, are you doing the same?
@@joshbonthemove Solid answer brother!
When you buy counterfeit clothes the only person you are fooling is yourself!
Haha if you know they’re not real, no one’s being fooled 😉
@@joshbonthemove so why buy them then!
Then make them affordable...
@@papapa9106 why do you act as if the material is different in many cases. You must not know it be from the same factories such as cereal. General Mills makes the off brand and the ones you pay triple for
How much is 250baht in dollars
Around $7.50 USD 👍🏻
