There's a whole cottage industry yet to be born where 'classic' car interiors are 3d modeled for 3d printing and simply wrapped with fresh vinyl material. Could be worth millions and millions. Also for updating interiors, I imagine the Porsche community would pay a lot for modern style interior panels to be fitted directly to a 996 or 997 911 wrapped with fresh leather or alcantara . Those interiors wear out horribly yet the cars remain worth lots used.

to be honest. that looks the best i ever seen in a FD. it looks soooo nice. premium look and maybe feel. love the mazda interiors. so dont let it get to you that its from the 90s. for what it is and especially that time. It looks very nice and modern.
makes me wanna get one my self

eh... part of it. when building cars you’re constantly moving backwards to go
      forward.

Wow you went the extra 15 miles with sound deadening and putting covers on anything with plastic touching plastic. Hats off! You also got extremely lucky that you found a black interior car with no sunroof! 99 spec taillights is a plus.

Not gonna lie, I was bitter when I saw you bought another FD. But then I watched the video and saw how much your car was elevated by swapping the parts over and I’m glad you did it. Looks awesome.

nicely done! for the stray wires, check into getting a cloth wire loom. They have them in various sizes and some you can just open up down the middle, insert the wires, and it coils back in on itself. Did that for the wiring harness for my sub and you can't even see it. super cheap too. Great work!
