    Second and a great flight! Has your daughter gotten used to flying yet? Also you guys are at level 4 out of 5 of moderate risk of significant tornado so you or your family should take a shelter because the next few hours will have numerous tornado warnings and tornado PDS. Good luck and stay safe.

      Well, I certainly appreciate the concern my friend, but we're not expecting any storms here until at least 8-9pm tonight. So we've got a good 7 hours still before they'll even be in the area.

    Hey Skylite Productions! I don’t know if you take any “flight requests” but a full video of the route from MHT Airport (Manchester NH) to BWI (Baltimore, Maryland) on a clear day sitting on the right side of the plane offers rewarding views!! Thanks so much for the videos you have been uploading. 👍

    I was watching the movie Ants On A Plane (2007) and now, I'm watching your video.
    In this movie, a 737 flies from BAQ Colombia to Miami and one of the passengers is infested by a bunch of ants who used him as a host to breed. They break free, kill the passenger and go all over the plane and down into the cargo hold. Luckily, there's Antonio Sabato Jr on board who's a US Air Marshall, but who's had no training on how to deal with aggressive ants. There's also an entomologist on board who identifies them as a new breed of bullet ants, more aggressive, more venomous and smarter than previous ones.
    The ants short out the hydraulic and electrical system and no country in the world will let this plane to land - or be shot down. The ants also attack the captain, but he miraculously survives.
    Believe it or not, this movie was originally aired on Lifetime and is a Lifetime movie.
    Be glad you weren't on THAT flight!
    Anyhow, good views taking off and smooth landing at ATL.
    So... if you DO happen to be on a flight that's infested with aggressive bullet ants, be sure to have some boric acid with you. And also know where the fire extinguishers are. And yes, bullet ants are real. I checked it.

      @@sla31how do you afford all these flights

    • @sla31
      @sla31  4 місяці тому +1

      @@notveshremybutsomeotherguy I spent 9 years building an aviation based UA-cam channel where I make money off the ads that play before the videos. So now, 9 years in, I fly using the money I make from this channel. For years though I pumped thousands and thousands of my own disposable income into the channel to get it to that point.

    What was going on with the takeoff

  • @LeeDfined
    @LeeDfined 4 місяці тому +1

    That flight looks light. There werent many people on it. I want to try SouthWest but not when its crowded. Also, and Im not being funny because I follow your channel religiously, but what are your thoughts about whats going on with Boeing? Thats one reason Im skeptical of SouthWest because I know that they exclusively fly 737s. Once again, not trying to be funny. Just asking.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  4 місяці тому

      I'm pretty sure this flight ended up being pretty much full. I fly Southwest so much that my status guarantees I'll be one of the first on the plane. So, it gives the appearance the flight is light, when in reality I am just on before more people haha. As for Boeing, I don't mind people asking. I have no hesitations bearing a Boeing aircraft and no one else should be worried about getting on a Boeing aircraft. The Max is the most scrutinized aircraft in history at this point, and the 787, which is also being questioned at this point, has not had a hull loss in 15 years of service. Statistically speaking, the 787 is one of the safest aircraft anyone could step foot on. Let’s also not forget that the Max had an entire exit plug blow out and the plane is structurally fine. A whole door blew out and the plane didn’t disintegrate and landed fine. Now, don’t misunderstand this as me just blindly defending Boeing. People can have their opinions on Boeing, and people can not fly them if they don’t want to. But, no one should be scared for their safety when gettin got one. I’ve flown in the Max 8 or 9 100 times now, and the 787 dozens of times and I’ve never had a single mechanical related emergency on a single one. I cannot say the same for some other manufacturers like Embraer and Airbus. It's also worth nothing that I saw a chart recently, that documented all mechanical issues aircraft have had in the last six months, and Airbus, and Embraer both had more incidents than Boeing, but no one talks about those because that’s not how the media works. They've clearly had some issues recently, but ultimately I think a lot of the focus being put on them by the FAA recently, which the media then focuses on, is more pandering to public pressure than anything else.
