      Lets be honest most people just fit them because they like to tell their mates they have willwood brakes (and they look cool)

    • @JAStheACE
      @JAStheACE Рік тому

      @@fossilfuelenthusiast i put willwood calipers on the front of my Holden hx chassied shitbox ute , being told they would fit in a 14inch standard wheel. Not the case. Just fit but notching here and there. I didn't buy them to be cool, it just was an easy option for an upgrade above rebuilding or making commonwhore shit fit within the wheel size i want to run. It's not just brand names, it's what works safely that matters.

I wouldn’t put the water base one over bare metal tho, if you wanna have the absolute best of the best results I’d wire wheel everything killa then spray a light coat of epitech and then use the stone guard or a raptor liner which is like a 2k version of stone guard

      Yes and no, with the vn subframe and rack you can remove them depending on the sump, and I learnt that it’s always good to have one bolt facing down in case by some chance you have a nut come off it stays in

    Jake, this is really dangerous!!!!!! Telling people they can just weld the coilover to the cast iron strut and saying 'doesn't matter how you weld' it is dangerous. The stub axle is under extreme loads during braking, turning and hitting potholes and when it breaks off, the car loses control and crashes and will probably kill the occupants and whoever you run into when you have no steering!!!!!!!!!!! he driver then has no insurance for illegal modifications and may go to jail for culpable driving. By law, cast iron suspension and steering parts must be welded properly by a competent welder, xrayed and then engineered and passed through a rego station! See NCOP and NCOP11 Section LS Suspension and Steering V2.1 15Nov2015 PDF: 2120 KB
