I was born in The Greater Bethany Community Church of The Apostolic Faith. Under Bishop Mac Murray. He def was funny but no nonsense. Enjoyed this video.
My dear Sister it is appalling to hear you say @ 26:05 that the UPC today has systematic racism. What a terrible thing to say. The UPC has a fair balance of brethren of color today. My Grandfather was G. B. Rowe out of Mishawaka, Indiana. He was the second minister elevated to Bishopric right after Bishop G. T. Haywood, according to Bishop Golder’s book “The Bishops of the PAW”. And then later he sat on the first General board of the U.P.C. in its formation. Because of their close friendship my very own mother born November, 1930 whom I care for to this day at age 93.5 as of this writing was the last person Bishop Haywood laid hands on to pray for just before his death in April of 1931. Grandpa drove down to Indianapolis to show his friend his daughter and have him dedicate her to the Lord. The separation was not over color at all but rather who was going to be Presiding Bishop at that time. Until recently due to personal sickness I held license with the PAW. I ask you to please correct these false statements that do nothing but foster continued division.
This was a good breakdown for the history. However, it is not right to say that UPC is racist. To assume that all of UPC is racist is wrong. The divide today with UPC is due to the separation then. Though it is not by law now, it is by culture. The two groups are used to being separate. Until we stop this racial stuff, there will be no unity. Pushing false ideas like systematic racism is not going to help bridge the gap.
Thank you for giving us this history.
This was an outstanding historical overview of the PAW. I learned a lot. Thank you for sharing.
I really enjoyed this .. thank you for sharing

Out of the Bishops, I don’t see Bishop F M. Thomas of Pennsylvania
I’ve not witnessed a racial divide in the upci. Do you think the divide perhaps was standards?
No, it was absolutely racially motivated during that time.
There are no records of Bishop Mason under Bishop Hayward.

She cannot correct what was true.
She is correct!!! Bishop Bell said the same thing in his sermon “ have we missed our day of visitation “
Mason was never under Hayward

The UPC was racist and that’s why the split occurred. The UPC has to atone for this before the oneness church can be reuinted
“Racial stuff” is so dismissive it’s insane
It's insane to keep crying victim. Get a life.
