Ikr? All I have been hearing is ambient calm music. Also don't forget Sector Sweep, Hunting Party, Penultimatum, and a couple of others. I listen to the HL2 soundtrack every time I do homework and chores, so I have like every song memorized. Other people keep saying this soundtrack sounds like Half-Life, but it really doesn't in my opinion. Just because it is made of technoish sounds doesn't mean it's "Half-Lifey". Black Mesa had a good soundtrack without sounding like Kelly Bailey so it doesn't matter I guess.
What an absolute god this guy is at making music. The hype cannot be contained!

Alchemy is actually no longer an available plugin for purchase anywhere. The original software manufacturer has gone out of business.

I would certainly be interested in composing some kind of piece for this. I first played Half-life 2 when I was 9 years old in 2004. Been quite the fan and part of the Opposing Force 2 and Conscript mod team. For as long as I have cared about this franchise, some kind of musical tribute to the Half-Life franchise would be a genuine gesture from a long-time fan

Project Borealis could be Half Life 3’s last hope. Since Valve can’t count to 3, the fans will do it themselves. But I have a suggestion: I think it would be good to put the first parts of this new game at the ending of Half Life 2: Episode 2. Kinda, say, continues the story. Anyone agree? If so, like this comment!

Borealis is a research vessel, not a testing track. So probably no test chambers.

Uh, I've read the blog for the HL3 plot, and the ending eas pretty disappointing. Is Project Borealis going to be only loosely based on the plot from the blog? Because I think the blog should have ended differently. Also, would there be a sequel, starring Alyx?

The DAW is FL Studio, Alchemy is the white interface that shows up which is a synth plugin, dBlue Glitch is what you'd expect it to be, a glitch plugin, drummaxx is a stock FL drum synth plugin I believe, Hardcore is the plugin with the guitar pedals, it's a software guitar rig that's also stock in FL. Those are just a fraction of what's on screen, I know of all the plugins they use, I just don't want to spend hours listing their names and what they do, I'd rather keep working on my music in FL Studio instead.
Kill me for making the longest run on sentence on the planet.

Rather keep the game original like it should be. It is not a bloody gore game.
They won't do much to the original blood, although the current plan is to add a gibbing system similar to Half-Life 1.

You guys are like kids playing with music you just start learning how to make music cause you just mix melodies like the soundtrack of a cheap movie joel nielsen have made tracks 9000 times better please learn from him and i hope the game will a way better than the music if not this will be just the carrion of valve just that.
