Can you do a video on more affordable brushes? This is great, but I don't have over $300 to spend. I recently purchased a smart Quip brush to make sure I brush 2x daily, especially as I get closer to double jaw surgery
I got a sonic toothbrush from Amazon. Brand is Fairywill. It's around 30 dollars plus at times, there will be a coupon for a few dollars off. Best toothbrush hands down! If your device stops working, Fairywill has no problem sending a replacement. I also use their water flosser.
I just got braces put on my teeth. Watching your videos has continued to educate me about what I can do to make this journey have a better outcome. I bought this electric toothbrush and I am pleased with the thorough job it’s doing with my braces. I don’t want to go through with doing the braces and then having teeth repaired because of inadequate care. Thanks so much for sharing this with information with us 😁
Hello, i'm gonna get braces in some days, i have questions about braces so if u can gimme some time to answer my questions that'd help me alot, thank's
I just bought this Oral B e-brush and I can tell it's much better than the manual one. My teeth feels so clean and smooth after using them compared to when I brush with manual and no matter how hard I brush one spot where I feel some rough surface, it just doesn't come off.
I have the model before this one, and I must say, it's the best toothbrush I've ever had. I used to have a lot of plaque on my teeth, but since I started using it I barely have any plaque on my teeth.
I haven't read the research, but I would think a reason people who use electric toothbrushes are more likely to have better oral health is because not only can they afford an electric toothbrush, but they actually sought it out and bought one. Those who don't take good care of their teeth, and a poor oral routine, probably don't have an electric toothbrush. Not discounting that an electric brush is better, it is by far, but I think there would be more factors that could affect the numbers shown. There are probably better metrics to use to prove an electric brush is better.
actually, your toothbrush doesn't matter as much as your technique does. bristles need to be soft or super soft, you should not apply too much pressure and if your toothbrush is not electric - use circular motion. And always pay most attention to the gumline, that's where most plaque resides.
I've never used an electric brush. To me the manual is more thorough and gentler on the gums. My dentist and orthodontist both say my teeth and gums are beautiful and ask me what I do. So you don't have to use an electric brush to practice good oral hygiene.
@@mdooms76 It actually depends on if the person’s teeth layout needs a flat head toothbrush or a round head toothbrush regardless if it’s electric or not. So you’re right it’s not really a matter of electric or not. If someone has crowded teeth, it’s hard to get every crevice using a flat head toothbrush and they would need a round head that would hug each tooth separately.
@WWE Action Figure Matches it takes time but you can still play. I’ve just about got all my range back again now. Wax will be your best friend but if you use too much it will make it harder to play. Good luck 🙂.
Hey I find that I’m replacing my toothbrush head a lot more regularly with my braces (around once a month). I’m not sure if this means I’m brushing too hard?

Your videos are very informative. Can u tell me if my lower jaw is backward than upper jaw and giving me TMD, can I get it fixed without surgery? Hoping for ur reply.

What is the least to best process/method to whiten teeth (regardless of price)? 3. What vitamins should I intake to strengthen my teeth while installed with braces? Thanks, Doc! :)
what do I do if my entire wire came off? Can I put the wire back in fully sense I know which side goes where? And would it cost more money to get it fixed at the ortho?
Thank you for the recommendation. I saw in another video from a periodontist that those who have receding gums shouldn’t use an electric brushes because that makes it worse. What’s your professional opinion on that?
There are about 9 iterations of the IO now - Walmart carries Series 3 & 4, but it goes up to Series 9. Can you explain if the Series 3 or 4 are good enough?
