Been on MSC twice. Loved it each time. Anytime I can hop on a ship and not worry about cooking and cleaning I consider that a win. If any problems pop up, have them fix it, keep it moving and enjoy your cruise.
I cruise often and the reality is MSC cruises are less expensive hands down and is why they recoup funds by charging for certain free amenities that we receive on other cruise lines… I tried Seaside and Seashore..i preferred Seashore yet both were not bad and were a Great time. All in all you have a beautiful family and I hope you made the best of your experience.
I have been on a lot of cruises and we have found MSC to be wonderful. The food was good, the crew was so friendly, their entertainment was good and their ships are beautiful. I don't get why people complain about them so much. Other cruise lines have bad food, nasty crew and the ships are not as nice as MSC. I think the other cruise lines should be researched more and I am sure the other cruiselines would have complaints as well. In my experience Carnival and Royal Caribbean are going downhill and MSC is moving up. This is from a 67 year old cruiser so I may have a different opinion then younger cruisers. I do like your vlogs so nothing against you!!!
I think MSC is amazing as well and I'm only 42. Every time I've sailed with them the service has been great. The crew are awesome and very friendly. My room is always clean. I will say the buffet has been hit or miss, but it's not enough to stop me from cruising with them.
I love MSC seashore. Cruised on it 4 times never an issue. Excellent value for money. Cabin was very clean. Staff courteous. Food much improved. Just dont go visit buffet at peak times!
Thanks for your review. My only comment is that for the original price that you are paying for MSC they have to make up the difference somewhere and I guess that is with umbrellas and water mats. The same cruise on Disney would be 3 X more and Royal Caribbean at least 2 X more just to get on their ships. You can choose whether or not to rent the umbrella or mat, but just to get on the other cruise lines, you have no choice but to spend more money.
Exactly. These vloggers get mad about little shit and let it ruin their whole experience. Plus my travel agent friends have told me not to just go off of what these amateur vloggers sag because a lot of them get mad when the cruiseline doesn't offer up free stuff that they think their entitled to just because they're vloggers🤷♀️
MSC and especially the Seashore are my favorite cruise line and ship. We have always had a great experience on MSC! We have cruised on Disney, Royal, Holland, Viking, and Carnival and enjoyed all of them. For the price MSC is the best!
MSC secret a yacht club inside cabin is a better deal than Aria experience. Do the math and factor in that yacht club price already includes best drink package and wifi. Plus your room is constantly stocked with water and juice at no extra cost. Don’t have to wander for coffee can go to poolside bar or lounge. No nickel and diming. Private island special section where they bring you drinks. Poolside in YC section they bring you drinks and fruit. You’d get escorted on and off with your baby. So if you are willing to give up the balcony you can go first class instead for same price or LESS!
My adult daughters and family are going on the MSC Seashore over Thanksgiving 24. What should I recommend to them is the best rooms to book? The usually do balcony rooms but is there something better? There will be a total of 4 in each room. 2 adults and 2 children.

Went on Seashore in May and the day we boarded it just passed a surprise inspection with a PERFECT score. Ship was immaculate, food in MDR and buffet was amazing 90 percent of the time, adults only infinity pool was great. On Celebrity Reflection right now and it’s no where near as clean or good an experience as I had on Seashore.
Love that your videos are always honest and real! My family and I were on this cruise too, loved meeting you guys at ocean cay! That was the cutest thing when Noa stopped on the bridge if sighs! We were pretty disappointed in the buffet. Not many choices or variety from day to day. Main dining was ok, but the choices weren’t that diverse. They also were not very good with accommodating my daughter and my gluten allergy. My husband said the pizza was good, but their burgers were like fake meat. One of the biggest turn offs though was that our hallway smelled like mildew the whole time and our room was very humid, so much that our clothes always felt damp. We did like the bunk bed set up for the kids though. Def got soot on us at the Long Island pool. Although it was a cheaper cruise I would rather spend a little more and go on another cruise line.
I am on right now and I was wondering why the bed and the robes fell wet. As well as the smell of the ship, however it’s a beautiful ship. Just got on today
The baby’s instincts to the see through floor was priceless. I laughed soo much. At such a young age she instinctively recognised when she was in a dangerous situation. Bless her.
MSC has gotten so much better food wise over the last year. Their ships in general are beautiful, service leaves "something to be desired", the dining room takes FOREVER (my 5 year old goes out of her mind waiting), that said, the kids club on board is 2nd to none. Might not have famous characters running around, but their programing is amazing, and the hours they are open is incredible (9am-11pm on port days) COME ON PEOPLE that is worth it's wait in gold. They NEVER put wash-clothes in the room, it's so weird, but once they know you want them, they will put them in there. Also the price is 1/3 the cost of every other cruise line. Their "non-boozy" drink package does suck because they took every "mocktail" off the menu except 2, so if you want to have a pretend drinky drink, you are out of luck. And again the service is not great. Their Island is beautiful, but never ever pay to rent an umbrella, half the time there is no way to put it up as there aren't enough bases on the island for them. And the "south island" the section furthest away from the ship 100% has a jellyfish problem. Been there multiple times, and thought we just got unlucky the 1st time, then switched up where we were and had no issue, but everyone talked about getting stung on that beach. If you are low maintenance, and are looking to just get away and relax, MSC is a very economical way to go. But it's also a learning experience everytime.
I went on my first MSC cruise this year on Seascape and LOVED it. For the price, it was sooo phenomenal! Sure, it was a different vibe, but we loved it and the teens LOVED the teen area.
So I have my favorite cruise channels and I've seen a few of your videoss but I'm not a regular but after seeing that adorable Noa I'll be back. She just made me smile and my heart leap so darn adorbs. She has such a little personality.
I have found out from my travel agent friends that vloggers like to throw cruise lines and such under the bus and give bad ratings when they don't get free stuff. Just because you're a vlogger doesn't mean you'll ge free things js
Disney “free shade” equals $3,000 per passenger. I could take 2-3 “couples” cruises on most any cruise line for the cost of one Disney cruise! In late October ‘24, I’m paying under $500 (plus tips) for (1 person) for a 7 day MSC Caribbean cruise, so if I need shade, I’ll figure something out or rent an umbrella. A similar cruise on another cruise line would cost me double since I’m traveling alone. (MSC single rate depends on sales, time of year, etc.) You can’t even get a decent beach hotel for less than $125 a night, so I take my chances on (any) cruises. My cruise is still less than a decent motel anywhere these days, not to mention meals and entertainment! 😮 The mold on the clothes line was gross, for sure.
We haven’t gone on MSC, I have family members that have gone and we got mixed reviews. Some like the food, not the service, cabins, so so. That is why, we haven’t made a decision, while decisions are being made we continue to go on our Royal ships that we love so much, we’ll continue to be Loyal to Royal.
Royal had been very inconsistent recently and not worth the money at all IMO, I actually think MSC has become consistently better overtime where other more established lines in USA seem to be slipping recently
Loved Noa's response to that "glass" walkway. 😄 Adorable. $32 for umbrella rental is outrageous. That's really unconscionable when every cruise line's private island we've ever been to provides them free of charge. Would be challenging for me, since I'm extremely fair, not to have shade. Thanks for the review.
Im European and have done 28 cruises (RCI ,NCL, CUNARD in USA and Europe) Ive been on MSCs the Meraviligia twice from NYC and Seaview from Barcelona. Enjoyed them all .
I sailed on that ship with you I saw you a couple of times and wanted to say hi .I have very mixed feelings about the experience the elevator system was horrible and to me the best food on ship was the pizza . I was upgraded to a balcony on the 15th floor under the buffet the noise was awful but made me stay out of my room all day . Ocean Key was beautiful and nice that we stayed overnight really enjoyed that. Unfortunately not sure if I will do MSC again but hope to see you on another cruiseline😊
I did MSC last year and I’m looking forward to booking another one in the next couple weeks. I don’t know why you think it’s so awful. Why don’t you get on carnival and enjoy all of those customers🤷♀️
We went on the Maraviglia from Brooklyn NY and it was so nice! I have heard negative stuff about the Seascape but never tried it. Best wishes on your next cruise!🎉
Appreciate your opinions and understand that every cruiser can have a different experience. We loved our cruise on MSC Seashore in May 2024 (Mother's Day cruise). We fast tracked our registration by doing everything online in the app and stepped right onto the ship. The crew was extremely helpful, we loved our standard balcony room and the free MDR experience. Noa was so cute on the infinity bridge! We didn't have Ocean Cay as part of our cruise...but those rental prices sound pretty crazy.
Griff, every Man was thinking the same thing! lol. By the way, my wife and I did MSC last October and were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed every aspect of the cruise/ship. Loved their private island! Loved the vlogs. P.S. Just flush it and sanitize!
We sailed MSC last year, and we paid $14 for the umbrella. $32 is madness! All things considered, it was a pretty decent cruise experience. That definitely looked like black mold on the drying line. Eek! I never use that but now I know I won’t. I appreciate y’all’s honesty.
That’s not a great bathroom, especially considering you’re in a suite. I agree with Alyssa about having the room further into the balcony. But I guess the prices are low for a reason. I was looking at a MSC cruise but I’m not sure now. It’s the lack of cleanliness on the balcony that’s put me off
If you haven’t ever cruised msc before then the terminology might be different for you, the “suite” they were in really isn’t a suite, it is like the aqua class on celebrity, it is the same balcony room as everywhere else on the ship except the balcony is a little bigger and it comes with extra amenities and spa access, they have bigger whirlpool suites and honestly yacht club is the premium suite within a suite area, in regards to the balcony, I have been on many cruises on several different cruise lines and the balcony is always dirty to some degree on every single one of them. It is outdoors what do you expect, I know on all the 7 day MSC cruises I have been on they clean the balcony twice, which is actually more than some other lines which only do it once on a 7 day sailing
Didn't you look at the app before you went on the cruise? The prices are listed for the umbrella rental and the floating mats. I watched several videos, so I knew that I would have to rent a umbrella and a mat if I wanted too. The umbrella is 19.00 to rent on the app. Although the other cruise lines offer complimentary umbrellas the prices for the cruise , wifi and drink packages can't compare to MSC prices. And you are seasoned cruisers so you know the prices are more when you get on the ship.
Please someone tell me. Did MSC give a set time to come to the terminal or is it first come first serve? What happens when someone goes earlier than the appointed time. Will they refuse to check in? Someone please respond, as if gone not knowing the check-in time at all. Thank you.
Noa had the funniest reaction to the glass floor. hahaha And, those prices for the beach umbrella and floating mat were ridiculous. (Basically as bad as $27 plus $4 shipping for a "CruiseDay" hat!) 😮😆
I used to like cruising back in the day. Pay one price, everything included, except drinks, and I don't recall there ever being "drinks packages". No, every time you turn the corner, they have their hands out as a revenue opportunity for things that used to be free. The use of resort equipment such as umbrellas, floating sun mats, etc., should be included in the price of your cruise. Ridiculous.
I hundred percent agree with you, Alyssa. How they bring you to their island and shove you out in the blazing hot sun and blatantly are saying shell out more money because there’s no shade! You’re gonna get baked by the sun.😳 enjoy your beach day🤨 I love the keeping it real with your family😂 with your little Escape artist. Thank you, Griff and Alyssa
There are some shady areas, just can’t get off the ship late to get some. However, there are many food options on the island and all drink packages are included as well. So, if you are drinking more than just water, you will certainly save enough to pay for an umbrella. All the other cruise lines you have to pay for drinks and anything other than cold, dried out burgers and hotdogs covered with flies. Been there, done that. Cheers.
I have no complaints about MSC at all. I found my cruise better with them then with Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas. Rooms big clean, food was amazing compared to other cruises. For the price that you pay it's amazing and you can't find no drink package as cheap as they'res.I recommend MSC 100% . Sorry but your room looked clean too me 😂😂
Noa is the cutest. I cracked up when she stopped at the clear bridge. She is no dummy. She didn't see a floor and she wasn't moving. It didn't matter that mommy was standing there. She wasn't moving. "Butt Bricks", 🤣🤣
I just took 13 family members on MSC Seashore and we all had a wonderful time. The costs for an umbrella is much less if you reserve before the cruise! BTW I have cruised on 25 cruises with celebrity, HAL, RC and Princess and MSC in my opinion equal to all except Celebrity!
I’m only about 15 minutes into it and I agree with you but how do we prove that we are actual people that have been on that ship I have been on that ship I will never sell with MSC again but how do I prove I am I say I am you understand what I mean
I love your UA-cam channel and keep up the great work. I am new to posting on UA-cam and watching you all give me various options I need to do. I love your honesty and great reviews. But you both are total prudes and honest about it I like that. Yes cruises are not perfect. MSC does get a lot of flack that's overly unnecessary. Seashore is a beautiful ship and anytime I had any issue they fixed it. When I went on Carnival or Royal they don't.
ANNNNNDDDDD when at the beach you have to set up your umbrella or if you want to sit somewhere else, you have to haul your umbrella with you! No thanks MSC.
We went on the MSC Meraviglia in 2023, our first MSC cruise. Was not impressed. Some friends of ours our going on the MSC Seashore in November and invited us to go with them, so we are going to give MSC another try. Hopefully this will be better than last time.
Mama oooooh! 😂😂❤❤❤I Adore her!!!😂😂❤❤❤We paid 2,600 total. We had a premium balcony on the Aft. Went through Travelocity I think. What do you find is the best way to book a cruise?
Oh that cruise is very inexpensive. $1800 for a suite for 3 I’m paying 2200 on carnival for an inside with 4 people. I’m guessing msc has to charge more for things just to stay somewhat competitive.
Noah is the cutest little girl! I felt bad for her when you guys were upset at the toilet band aide, and she cried over it. Also, I'm afraid of heights; so I'm not sure I would be too fast at walking across the glass bridge either. She is careful, and that's the way to be!
I just got off a MSC Cruise and we really loved it! The food was way better than a lot of other cruise lines and the staff was super friendly. I would totally go MSC again and I even book another one while on the ship. BTW the over night party at Ocean Cay is beyond AWESOME! The light show was amazing! and the island was so Beautiful!! Btw, you don't have to rent the umbrella's - there's plenty of natural shade around the beach I think lol AND unlike CoCo Cay you can actually easily find places to sit and relax. There is plenty of seats and bars and great food!
I’ve been on one MSC cruise out of NYC and doubt if I’ll cruise with them again. The buffet was actually horrible. The only time we had a decent meal was in the steakhouse. As far as the dirty cabins, I’ve always cleaned every cabin I’ve been in. This is something that I will always do and I spray my sheets and pillowcases with an alcohol solution. There have been times when I’ve found clothes under the bed, hair all over the bathroom and stains on the desks, so I clean! This is not only with MSC but all ships that I’ve cruised on. The only time that I don’t clean is when I’m on an inaugural cruise and I’m the first in that cabin. Love your vlogs and sweet Noa is a doll!!!!!❤
Just got back from the seashore I went with a very very low expectations and I really liked it! Yeah the buffet didn’t have a crazy variety but I prefer quality over quantity and the quality was there at least of their different food, it had flavor and it was fresh (stay clear of hamburgers 😂) I came back from NCL in April and was extremely disappointed the food was almost not edible. Ocean cay was so sweet, loved that place, we got there early and got chairs by the palm trees and all was good! Check in was a little slow compared to other cruises we have been, probably around 25 minutes! The SPA was great and we got the best couples massage we ever had! It’s a beautiful ship, the parties were awesome and lively, I would definitely come back in a heart beat!
We have been cruising MSC exclusively since leaving Disney in 2016 in the Yacht Club and don't plan on leaving. The YC gives my wife and I exactly what we're looking for in our cruise vacation experience now that our kids are grown & gone. Everybody has their own opinions, but in our case we have had excellent cruises with MSC and for the price the Yacht Club cannot be beat.
Exactly. I have the best experience on yatch club and will only cruise with msc yatch club. I love all these negative videos. The insider joke is to not let people know about how great the yatch club is or we might get overwhelmed with people. I’ve sailed with royal and did the genie class and it was horrible.
Love your content. However personally I’d deduct two points easily for the dessert. If there is chocolate in the sorbet it means improper washing of utensils. Not to mention like you said if someone is allergic that’s a problem. The mold on the clothesline is unacceptable.
MSC Divina. Dirtiest ship ever. We will never cruise with MSC again. We cruised this ship back in Feb 2020. Not knowing much about Covid at the time we became extremely sick and not able to leave our cabin for most of our 1 week cruise. Looking back it was definitely covid!!!!! My gosh our stateroom didn't even have face cloths. I had to ask for them. There also was no top sheet between you and the blankets. Washing hands was not enforced. People were wiping their nose and then using the serving spoons at the buffet. . It basically was the worst experience of our life onboard cruiseships. We have been on well over 40 cruises.
93 cruises around the world some short some long, never MSC but we are simple easy to please and usually just happy to be away. It takes a lot of work to delve into what you do for $ for your channel. Some are much better than others.
Oh you two are so funny. Anyway next time you want to give MSC a try go yachet club. Better rooms and food as well as butler service. So much better MSC and Celeberty are out go toos
Well if they didn't clean the toilet, how do you know they cleaned anything in that bathroom? That's a big no no in my book. Sorry, I don't think $32 is all that much for the floating mat or for an umbrella, assuming it's large enough for all of you to sit under.
Going on seashore tomorrow for my birthday. Been on seaside about 6 years ago abd divina earlier this year, both were great. Going on seascape in September and there free since l play in casino, so l cant complain! Great videos, l like the transparency.
A fun romp showing what it's like on that ship! I have no desire to go. Heh. I was wondering, we saw the camera in the mirror a couple times; what was that? It looked smaller than a GoPro?
Sail or fail-love it!! Keep them coming. Honest reviews are the best.
Exactly. These guys are ridiculous. I haven’t had anything wrong happen
Been on MSC twice. Loved it each time. Anytime I can hop on a ship and not worry about cooking and cleaning I consider that a win. If any problems pop up, have them fix it, keep it moving and enjoy your cruise.

Your videos are super helpful with finding cruises ❤ I will be looking out for the video tomorrow!
Royal is where it's at
Royal had been very inconsistent recently and not worth the money at all IMO, I actually think MSC has become consistently better overtime where other more established lines in USA seem to be slipping recently
@@adamp2384 not a single complaint about Royal, and believe me we did 7 cruises last year did all the oasis class plus some more.
This video is making me miss my girls being tiny. Youngest starts college this fall. No more baby noises.
Was on the ship 4 times and going again in a few weeks. Clean as a whistle and loved it!
Umbrella if you pre purchase before the cruise is $19 usd. I think is still high for an umbrella and an island that has no shade at any of the beaches
Im European and have done 28 cruises (RCI ,NCL, CUNARD in USA and Europe)
Ive been on MSCs the Meraviligia twice from NYC and Seaview from Barcelona.
My kids are older now 10 and 12...that tub would have been a lifesaver!
Aww Noa face when she saw the Glass floor 😅 she did so well . That blow up tub is super 😃
Great video 🥰
Griff, every Man was thinking the same thing! lol. By the way, my wife and I did MSC last October and were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed every aspect of the cruise/ship. Loved their private island! Loved the vlogs.
P.S.
Just flush it and sanitize!
We sailed MSC last year, and we paid $14 for the umbrella. $32 is madness! All things considered, it was a pretty decent cruise experience. That definitely looked like black mold on the drying line. Eek! I never use that but now I know I won’t. I appreciate y’all’s honesty.
I am obsessing over that velcro sling that Alyssa was wearing. Do you have a link for that?
Exactly
Please someone tell me. Did MSC give a set time to come to the terminal or is it first come first serve? What happens when someone goes earlier than the appointed time. Will they refuse to check in? Someone please respond, as if gone not knowing the check-in time at all. Thank you.
Noa had the funniest reaction to the glass floor. hahaha
And, those prices for the beach umbrella and floating mat were ridiculous.
(Basically as bad as $27 plus $4 shipping for a "CruiseDay" hat!)
😮😆
Cheers.
We got a spot under a tree. Free shade
Sorry but your room looked clean too me 😂😂
I'd go to guest services and ask that a percentage of the prepaid gratuities ne removed, because end of day, someone not doing their job.
?
The baby had me laughing when she seen that glass floor she was not goin for dat 🤣🤣😂👍smart thinking
What if someone didn't have a phone to check the menu? I never carry my phone around the ship.
They have paper menus if you ask for it
I love your UA-cam channel and keep up the great work.
Some people just complain too much and for the price😂and live much more worst conditions, just enjoy the trip and make memories with r family
ANNNNNDDDDD when at the beach you have to set up your umbrella or if you want to sit somewhere else, you have to haul your umbrella with you! No thanks MSC.
I call BS on the elevator one. There is no way putting your hand to hold the door doesn't work, that is a legal safety requirement.
We encourage you to try it for yourself. But don’t say we didn’t warn you!
Shame on MSC for charging so much for a damn floating mat
We went on the MSC Meraviglia in 2023, our first MSC cruise. Was not impressed. Some friends of ours our going on the MSC Seashore in November and invited us to go with them, so we are going to give MSC another try. Hopefully this will be better than last time.
Mama oooooh! 😂😂❤❤❤I Adore her!!!😂😂❤❤❤We paid 2,600 total. We had a premium balcony on the Aft. Went through Travelocity I think. What do you find is the best way to book a cruise?
Norwegian did have the smallest bathrooms we have ever had😅
Oh that cruise is very inexpensive. $1800 for a suite for 3 I’m paying 2200 on carnival for an inside with 4 people. I’m guessing msc has to charge more for things just to stay somewhat competitive.
What does it mean, 'worst ranked cruise'? The line? The ship? the itinerary?
Haven’t been on MSC yet. Looking forward to trying them soon. You mentioned the suitcase - can you provide the link?
I think i have found something disgusting on almost every ship weve been on. Im wondering if you said something to the room steward?
This right here is the truth ☝🏼
Sailed once on MSC. That was enough for me and my wife. One and done.
Omg! Noah is adorable! She was not playing with that glass floor! 😂❤️
It’s a beautiful ship, the parties were awesome and lively, I would definitely come back in a heart beat!
lol the blooper got me to subscribe! That shit was so real and funny! Love it
i Love your Honest reviews and how it compares to the other reviews that others did
Everybody has there opinion but in my case we had an excellent cruise on MSC Seashore at the end of may especially for the price range.
New sub to this channel and love it!! You both are lovely and funny and omg your baby is gorgeous!!
Great review! Thank you for sharing!
Love your content. However personally I’d deduct two points easily for the dessert. If there is chocolate in the sorbet it means improper washing of utensils. Not to mention like you said if someone is allergic that’s a problem. The mold on the clothesline is unacceptable.
all cruise vessels are gross but some cover up better than others
What is the issue with washcloths!!!! and top sheets? We had to ask for to them as well.
Great videos, l like the transparency.
where did u find the blow up bathtub?
A fun romp showing what it's like on that ship! I have no desire to go. Heh.
I was wondering, we saw the camera in the mirror a couple times; what was that? It looked smaller than a GoPro?
Noa is such a beautiful baby thank you for sharing her with us!❤
Printed Menus are available. Just ask for it..
The deck and the toilet would send me right to customer service. There is no excuse for dirty cabins. I would want a new room. Yuck.
MSC is building a terminal in Galveston but your video has convinced me to skip the entire MSC “experience.” And -love your bloopers!!
Love msc and ocean cay. We are going on princess in October and they charge $35 for an umbrella…
I also can’t open the door on the first go. lol
