Guilty Crown was not my first anime, but it was the first anime that made me really turn my head to that OST and say, "good lord, WHO composed this absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack?" And thus I had discovered one of the most prominent composers in all of Japan....

It was this anime that taught me that for all the losses you had in the past, though you should never forget and always cherish them, you must also be able to find happiness in the present, so you can have a better future.
Guilty Crown may not have been a perfect anime but it sure had the perfect soundtrack. That was the first time I heard Sawano-san's music and the first time I actively listened to anime's entire soundtrack and not just the OP and ED.
Hiroyuki Sawano’s music is truly phenomenal. His unique compositions has created a new genre of music and in the world of soundtracks. I really hope his music can receive more love and recognition from all around the world!
I really hope Sawano will be back for part 2 of AOT's final season. I've missed him badly in part 1 and I really need him and his music to make the final episodes of this masterpiece as epic as the first 3 seasons 🙏🏻 his music heals my soul ❤️

I never did find out why he stopped doing songs with Mika kobayashi, but Laco did a great job with the vocals. :)
