I'm actually a graphic design student in the United States looking into UX/UI (thanks to you and a few other youtubers) and I'm thinking of moving to melbourne so this is super helpful thank you !
Thank you so much for this video! I'm a Canadian who recently got accepted into med school in Australia, so I'm applying for a 5 year student visa. This video helped feel a lot less nervous about moving my life to another continent.
If I apply for my work holiday visa .. it gets approved and then I get a job at resort! And all is well . When should I have to apply for that 3 month of regional work? In the middle of my first year or right at the beginning ? I guess I’m just asking if I have to complete this 3 months of work during my regular work that I would be doing in Australia? Like at the same time or??? I’m confused haha sorry
How do you ship your belongings from Canada to Australia? Which company did you use? Also how do you do your taxes? How do you do you receive your GST checks? So much to consider and work out, it's super stressful.
I lived in Australia for a year in 2017, I was an au pair and I was there on a working holiday visa subclass 417. It was the best year of my life, and I miss is so much. I really want to go back, but I don’t think I can get another working holiday visa because I didn’t do the farm work while I was there on my first visa😢
im thinking ill go there for 6 months a year from November to April being crippled in the east coast Canadian winter sucks and bc is too expensive for my cell phone ill just switch it to pay as you go and let my neighbor use it while I'm gone. she only uses a cell phone to call for help if shes stranded shes old enough to still call a cell phone a car phone so it'd only outgoing calls no need to remember the number to give out
I’m a plumber in Canada 🇨🇦 and my sister lives in Brisborn Australia 🇦🇺… do you think I can find a plumbing job in Australia as a Canadian citizen ? and if so how is the job situation particularly in construction side ? Thank you 🙏
Hi I'm canadian citizen and thinking to move Australia for work on working holiday visa, for this visa is there any sepcial skilled need or we can apply without any problem and how long we can work on this visa? Thank you.
I'm between Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide. Young professional in early 20s & my job allows me to work remotely (anywhere). How plausible is relocating to Aussie Land in today's climate? Genuinely asking. Hoping to make the move by the end of this year or early 2022.
Most people just buy a used car because they are fairly cheap. Carsales.com.au. Renting is fine if you have plenty of money or want to rent a nice campervan for a road trip. I have never heard of anyone bringing their own. The cost would be prohibitive for most people.
How do you find a job really quick in Australia? When I’m 18 I want to move there and I’m from vancouver and I’m not sure what job would pay well there and is also easy?
I'm currently debating about Australia and Canada for my BSc. degree. Do you think it's wise to consider Australia despite all the wildfires and bad weather ? Because I do like the warmer climate.
Brandon 305 I think it depends on where in Australia you'll be doing your degree. I'm in the Gold Coast and luckily the fires haven't affected us and we do get rain!
@@Brandon-305 I'm a naturalized Australian. I have also lived in Canada for four months. The positive aspects of Canada I found were more proper English, cheaper housing, proximity to the USA and Europe. The positives of Australia Nicer weather, much cleaner cities, much higher salaries. The Australian way of life is more relaxed and casual whereas in Canada it is more formal. Canada's cold can ground you for a few months, whereas in Australia you can wear shorts almost all year round. One annoying thing I found in Canada was the tipping culture and tax on top of the price tags. At the end of the day, it all comes down to your personal preference.
Rest assured that no Australian universities have been burnt out in the bushfires that I am aware of 😂 and the bushfires do not get into the cities, although sometimes with really bad fires you get smoke blowing across the city.
If someone have a canada student visa and they want to move in Australia, according to you which visa category is right, and will have a more visa sucess chances. It's my humble request to you please help me or guide me. 🙏
HELP PLEASE!! I’m getting super frustrated. I can’t get the holiday visa bc I will be travelling with my son (who will be 6 at the time of travel) and it says you can’t be accompanied by dependant children with the working holiday visa. I could go with a tourist visa but I can’t work while I’m there if I do that and I can’t change the tourist visa to another visa later like you can with the working holiday. I need help! The goal is to live in Australia permanently eventually.
I would guess that you can’t have dependent children if you are there on a working holiday Visa because the Australian government does not want to be liable for the costs that could arise looking after your child if something goes wrong particularly if you are working. The tourist Visa is what it says it is meaning that you can’t work. You probably need to look into an immigration Visa which will be a lot harder to get. There is a point system where you get a certain number of points for each desirable attribute you have and if your total adds up above the threshold then you qualify for a visa. Being fairly young helps as does being in a skill category that is in demand in Australia. It can take a long time to get a Visa this way but if you think you are likely to qualify you could always go there on a tourist Visa to see what it’s like without working and then come back and apply for an immigration Visa. If you can’t figure it all out there are plenty of migration agents in Australia that you can contact and they will work it all out for you for a fee.

I’m considering moving to Australia from Canada. Approximately how much would you need money wise to successfully move to Australia?
I think like 5000$ Canadian. My sister needed 5000$ to prove she had enough money to move to Australia
What if you’re moving to Australia and will need a vehicle? Would you just rent or lease? Bring your own?

Is it still easy to get in via a 417 in Dec 2023?
Couldn’t you just exchange at a bank for aud

It doesnt work like that because you cant etransfer money into Australian bank account. They have a different system here called BSB.
