Most of my enjoyment of these videos is just listening to you guys talk with excitement and enthusiasm for everything you do. It's a great dynamic you two have and I hope it will last forever.
A massive result from a mega-talented team of friends. Hats off to each & everyone one of you guys. I'm an old fart but not too old to enjoy motoring bliss & this project ticks all the right boxes. The power & build quality, along with the practicality of a wagon, takes it to the max. I'm not a fan of loud & obnoxious cars so was blown away by Turbo Jeda's manifold & exhaust build. At one time on the dyno, there was no gain in power with the exhaust bypassed. RESPECT.
Anybody who's driven anything over 330hp or around 250KW with a decent power curve knows full well that thats plenty for road use. Thats still insanely quick, faster than 90% of other cars on the road and perfectly capable. People with 1000hp dailys who sit and take the piss out of this are idiots, you do not need that power in a daily, you'll never get to use that kind of power on a road, its pointless. This Levorg is insane at nearly 600hp, and that kind of power will be excellent on a track. I suspect Marty will not use the full Sport mode much if at all for daily use, that much power in a manual will be a rather a lot to handle. Anyone who says 300hp is not enough, has clearly never daily driven something with that kind of power
When your tuner is disappointed and eager to put more boost into the car...you know you've built a great motor!!! Great effort MCM, Dave & Scotty, Mechanical Stig, Turbo Yoda & Woody!!
You’re not finished, you promised scotty to come back with a new wg spring for more boost 😈 Can’t wait to see this make 600+ awhp! I bet it really rips already!

Hats off to the team that built the car. I think Dave should have a drive in it on camera, with all the time he put in. The shot of it reversing onto the dyno was brilliant. Outstanding, looking forward to whatever projects you guys get next.
Amazing episode. Loved the shot rolling onto the dyno, Dave in the back during the runs and seeing Marty so nervous and excited at the same time. Haven't seen Scotty as hyped about a MCM car ever I reckon. Big grin during this one!

This honestly took me back to the “reshell” episode when Marty bought his charcoal grey rs turbo and swapped the whole power train from the white one into the grey one. God time flies! But looking forward to what’s next for HYPERGRAMPS

I think me and Marty are having very similar car lives. Iv been building/modifying a 1999 Forester Turbo S for the past 5 years, it’s now as far as I can go with my skills (99% of the work I have done myself including the spray job) and what I’m willing to spend on it. A few month ago I bought myself a 2007 Forester Cross Sport type S JDM import and now that is going to go beyond anything I could have done with the SF5
Great job lads. The story is captured so well with the video production, narration and final words. Your Levorg is the envy of many. You deserve it Marty because you and Moog both work so hard and any success you both have has been earned. Enjoy the car that you deserve!

I recommend you to by and install this device👍. If you want, i can give you the contact of this master.

I have to say I wasn’t super excited for this project when you boys first announced it but now it’s has to be my favourite car in the fleet. Keep up the incredible work boys. And congratulations on finishing this amazing project.👍
I'd love to see what the levorg would do on a 1/4 mile as supergramps was built to do 11 seconds. I'm gonna call it probably 9 seconds 1/4 mile right now :) Loved this build right from the very start.
By no means is this a dig at other automotive youtube channels, but its so heartwarming to see the same friends that were around at the beginning are still here doing projects with them. So many others lose touch with some of their crew along the way as they grow.
You can pull this off with a Volvo V70 (P1 generation) if you want to. The only problem is the AWD system, it's the first generation Haldex and it tends to break at the angle gear. You can mitigate this with an aftermarket AWD controller to limit torque to the rear wheels in 1st and 2nd gear. But the engines and gearboxes are really strong! Shim the block (cylinder walls crack under heavy boost), swap the rods, gap the rings and add a big turbo! Oh, intercooler and oilcooler need to be swapped too. I've seen builds with about 600 WHP with this setup. The strongest ever 5cyl i've seen is 1100HP, but then you're looking at sleeving the block, overhauling the head etc.
The beginning of the video showing the bottom of the card gave me chills it was a pleasure to see how clean and eye catching the Levorg is coming out. More videos of this car please.
I think one of the cool things is that because of videos like this, myself and thousands of other get to learn how the ECU and tuning side works. I'm doing my first Haltech wire in and I can't wait for the first key turn and drive! Something I may never have thought to achieve otherwise.
My guy you need to plug merch, a giveaway, sponsorships, something. Capitalize your income from this and you can maximize the quality of content you can put out. I love you guys and the videos you bring to this platform.
I'm just going to say it. I would buy a Grovel. Loving the hearing protection, loving Dave in the back-seat just sipping on a drink, just loving this build all over.

But this is something I would love to drive. I really don't think the Subaru H-6's get the love they deserve. They are such smooth and great sounding engine's im glad you guys continue to shine light on them. Keep up the great work fellas 🤙
Horsepower is amazing for the car and engine. I'm at similar power level (600) and probably the same weight 1620kg. That thing is a rocket!
This is my favorite build of all time and the way super gramps went out was the best let the next gen have there fun
Most of my enjoyment of these videos is just listening to you guys talk with excitement and enthusiasm for everything you do. It's a great dynamic you two have and I hope it will last forever.
Dave in the back smiling at Marty's excitement is great. Building a car with your mates looks like something else.
RESPECT.
Awesome cars. Awesome show. Awesome people. Awesome friends. Thank you for the quality content you've released for over a decade!
I'm living vicariously through this series. I had the thought to do something like this about 4 years ago, when I was thinking about getting a Levorg. However, never had the money, time or skills to do it. So this is great!
F**kin love seeing Dave-o just chilling in the back with a drinks cup, watching the fruits of his work take effect
I just can't get enough of MCM. You guys NEVER disappoint. Awesome car and an incredible episode.
I do have to say... I really thought Supergramps was going to be one of the keepers. It was so sad to see it go.
Was Daveo in the back-seat saying are you there yet, bloody brilliant Marty, Scotty was freaking awesome with how bloody happy he was, Moog were is your next one
This honestly took me back to the “reshell” episode when Marty bought his charcoal grey rs turbo and swapped the whole power train from the white one into the grey one. God time flies! But looking forward to what’s next for HYPERGRAMPS
I remember watching that episode but I can't remember what happened there was security footage of it getting rained on or something. I tried to go back and find it but couldn't been watching MCM for a long time
Supergramps was bought in dark blue, it was later painted charcoal grey at a live event in a makeshift booth
@@lazwwThat was Gramps, the 2nd-gen Legacy (known as the Liberty in AU). What OP was referring to was wayyyy back, with the first-generation Legacy wagon.
That Subaru Levorg Wagon looks amazing it goes really fast out race track road sounds wonderful Make over 600HP Well done Marty 👏👏👏👏
The underside shot was like watching a car cross the block at Barrett Jackson. Very nice build
I know one guy in Novosibirsk Russia. He makes tuning solenoid plate for subaru 5EAT and 4EAT. Each plate have 3 different version: light, sport and hardcore. It makes your gearbox faster and better. This plate cost about 150 us dollars. I have 2 legacy. One for light offroad and one for every day with ez30 engine. Both of them has this tuning solenoid plate. I recommend you to by and install this device👍.
If you want, i can give you the contact of this master.
I was really sad to see the original supergramps go but seeing the excitement on Marty's face during the tuning has me convinced this was the right move
it's so crazy seeing the diifference of Scotty in front of the camera compared to the first few times so many years ago. You Lads are all so good at this now (you were always good wtih cars and tuning but now the explanations are like a seasoned proffesor or tutor.
The Hyper-Grovel-Amps is a wolf in sheep's clothing! An absolute beast! Awesome work Marty!
@1:54 coolest camera angle to ever hit the show, we need more of this.
Really enjoyed this one guys! Such an awesome street car build! Really does tick all the boxes and the attention to detail is epic! Well done! 🎉
Gotta love how passionate Scotty is about his job and explaining what he's doing
Dave in the background smashing a smoothie and giggling is gold
Daves wee smiling face just sitting there in the back was amazing. Happiness all round.
That under car camera angle was majestic!!!💎
This has been my favourite build on this channel since Super Gramps. Amazing work boys!
Super gramps was one of my favorite builds you guys have done. This takes it to a whole new level. I wasn’t keen on the levorg at first, but it turned out so good!
A forester build would be so awesome. Hope that’s what’s coming. Man this channel is so good.
Having a great team of technicians with a wealth of knowledge is invaluable. Awesome team and an awesome result with more to come it seems. Congratulations 👍
Absolutely amazing project guys. Thank you so much for taking us along for the ride. I personally own a Levorg and it’s crazy how you’ve transformed it. Really keen to see more content on it, track days, drags etc!
I'm gonna call it probably 9 seconds 1/4 mile right now :)
Loved this build right from the very start.
"We did the good strapping." What a legend.
By no means is this a dig at other automotive youtube channels, but its so heartwarming to see the same friends that were around at the beginning are still here doing projects with them. So many others lose touch with some of their crew along the way as they grow.
The joy and excitement in everyone’s face sums it up perfect. This thing is 👌🏼🔥
You can pull this off with a Volvo V70 (P1 generation) if you want to.
The exhaust system looks like a work of art. Awesome build boys 👏👏😎
The beginning of the video showing the bottom of the card gave me chills it was a pleasure to see how clean and eye catching the Levorg is coming out. More videos of this car please.
Loved the shot of the car running over the dyno in real time!
I think one of the cool things is that because of videos like this, myself and thousands of other get to learn how the ECU and tuning side works. I'm doing my first Haltech wire in and I can't wait for the first key turn and drive! Something I may never have thought to achieve otherwise.
Kinda disappointed that Dave didn't have popcorn to go with his milkshake in the back while he is enjoying the show
So glad the screen tells you the proper measurement (HP), for years I've had to Google what however many KW they've been talking about 😂
Goddamn dave-o is such a legend. Just drinking in the backseat 😂😂
The part at 14minutes something about the waste gate spring! I love this!
The engine sounded like it was knocking during that last drive
It's always fun to hang out with Scotty!!! and that Dave guy, can't do any thing with out that tasty milk shake!!! Thanks!!!
Hope you learnt your lesson with Supergramps and you’re bringing spare CV shafts to the drag strip 😉
This is the epitome of an OEM+ borderline built car. You took the subaru parts bin and cranked it up to 11 to make an enthusiast dream daily.
Well done guys! Super excited to see the FD content 🤩🤩
@1:54 - What an AWESOME shot of the car reversing onto the dyno. Great episode (and car)!
I’m not a Subaru super fan but that is an absolutely fantastic looking and put together car. I think you have some of the best mates a guy could ask for all of them are super talented and humble. When Scott says your exhaust system is too good I don’t think anyone is surprised, Al is very skilled and as a younger tradesperson I really look up to him. Bravo Marty what a great build.🎉🎉🎉
