I’ve had the Spark for a few months, and watching this I just found out that you can change the pedals with each amp. I thought they were locked in presets. Wow. I’m going to be up all night experimenting now.
Good video Mr.Gasm. will be interesting to see if PG decide to do a follow up amp to the Spark. If, they can fix the tin box sound by adding bigger speakers and add a footswitch to control all the effects, they could potentially make a dent in the modeling amp market. Wouldn't hurt if they also add an interface that allows bias fx users to somehow access it through the amp.
Nice segment. Helpful to new Spark users. I'm really enjoying my Spark. The pedals aren't all that sophisticated, but with some tweaking its fun experimenting with various tonal options. With a little effort, it's possible to get some very unique sounds -- and to closely mimic many of your faves. Thanks.
I got my Spark a few weeks ago. I like it but I wish it had better EQ control. A lot of the tones tend to sound muddy, phasey, and harsh. But found some really good patches in the "tone cloud". Also.. I think that Tele sounds really amazing. You ought to compare it to some more expensive ones, it might beat em! :)
Sounds good. We really live in the golden age of gear. You should check out the Pod Go if you get a chance. It's really impressive and is replacing my very expensive and HEAVY pedal board. Be safe
The real hidden feature of this video is that yellow tinted thing sitting in your lap. This is really a review of an awesome Tele through a lot of pedals.
Yeah it needs it’s own video! I did a pickup swap video on it and used it to demo three or four amps but it doesn’t have its own proper video. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks GearGasms. I have the Spark Amp and in all honesty its Meh! Ive been using the Boss GT100 and find it absolutely brilliant and in my opinion it blows the Spark out of the water but then its an $800 product and its Boss. I found myself being frustrated with the Spark simply because Im not getting the tones and spending more time messing around with it than actually playing the guitar. This is not to say its a bad product, Id just rather play more guitar then tap an ipad/iphone all day. With that said I will have a crack at running just the pedals like yourself and see the difference if any.
@@GearGasms I deserved that. I appreciate your video and all... But your guitar is out of tune and it's felt like your videos have been generally negative about a $275 practice amp from the word "go". I feel like if you're going to play licks that are played out top 40 tunes from the 70's, the least you could do is edit out the poor timing and really show us what the Spark is capable of instead of focusing on the parts that are already obvious to anyone that spent the money and has spent any length of time on. Cheers.
The Spark people love me and I love the Spark. You’re playing isn’t any better than mine so rather than crushing the net and laying negative vibes on videos that cost nothing to watch maybe we should all be supporting each other. Taking extra shots in the apology is like farting during dessert. 🤓
Love these small desktop practice amps? If you do - here’s a whole playlist of them!

@@GearGasms Saw it. It was terrific. Love your channel. No BS. Just straight-ahead info presented in an entertaining manner. Thanks.
Thanks Fred!
Thank you. That helped me understand some pedals. Amazing how many fx in the amp
Awesome - glad to hear these videos are helpful!

I did a Triple Tele Shootout where my playing was atrocious but you can hear China vs Mexico vs USA ua-cam.com/video/1cTO521CazY/v-deo.html
Great video, as usual. Keep em coming!
Thanks Ray!
I feel better about myself and learned something too!
That’s a great day at the office!

I’ve been looking at it a lot and the HX FX too as possibly replacing my pedal board! Happy Friday George!

Does spark limit the amount of pedals you use at once?
Externally no. Internally yes. Would love to have you subscribe if not already! Thanks
i love the fuzzy jam setting but i want to use it with my band. i am new to the pedal world and want to find the pedals to help get me that sound

You see yourself eventually keeping the spark Allen or passing it onto the boy for College/Uni
No way - he has the THR10!
GearGasms Lol good for him. Hope he likes it 👍
Are you going to cover modulation?
Here you go! ua-cam.com/video/ilGSecmiXm8/v-deo.html

Are you noodling the theme from law and order?😂🤘6:15
I don't think so but it could be subliminal. If that seems like a cool move, I'll certainly take credit for it! 😀
Imagine if the spark actually had a pedal board. It would then be very useful.
It’s coming! 🤓😇🤘🏻
