Every dime I’ve saved on gas, I’ve lost in value every time Elon drops prices
Marketing EVs as "cheaper" alternatives to ICE cars is flat out wrong. Resale is the EV killer and product improvements (since EVs are in their infancy) kill the used market. This is the price to be paid for being early adopters of any new tech. There are huge advantages over ICE cars, but total cost of ownership (as of now) is clearly not one of them. This can be seen by Elon's shell game on pricing....Especially on the website. Here is an idea: How about adding "opportunity costs" to the "price" he shows on the web site for buying a car rather than including "savings of $5k since you don't use gas". Kinda shocked FTC even allows those misleading prices.
Do better research and don’t buy a new EV again… You can buy 3 year old model 3/Y with around 40,000 miles for 1/2 msrp. Let someone else eat the depreciation and just enjoy the low running costs.
@@Bbronson Yep. Bought a 2022 Model 3 with 39k miles and 2 years left on it's warranty directly from Tesla last week for $20,800. Loving it so far.
Lets not talk about the higher insurance rates?
Stop with the $249 a month lease. With the down payment and tax, it comes out to over $400 a month.
Literally almost every lease requires you to pay down. And a lot of people lease.
just get an old ice and have no payment and a fraction of insurance cost. my 2000 full size pickup. v8. i do maybe 800 miles a month, might be 1,200 a year in gas. and only $58 a month to insure. thats 1,900 total a year and i don't sweat if im gonna be able to aford my vehicle each year. 2K is petty cash per year.
leasing is a joke. owner ship for the long haul saves you endless hours of work. in ten years you could either have spent 20K or save 20K. even if you do't save it per say, thats alot of extra avaiilable cash you got each month. like they say "work smarter. not harder" same applies to how you spend money.
i did the new car thing for my first couple vehicles then bought one out right for the first time and i'll never ever go back to making payments and having to have full coverage insurance again. if you can save 20K in 10 years versus spend it pointlessly. thats basically your kids first year in college covered from that one smart move alone. or is a downpayment on your first home. blowing on fresh wheels every year. well i don't need yap on anymore about it. you get the point lol
@ you will easily dump $8K into the thing for maintenance and it’s still a shit old vehicle. No vehicle will ever ever be an investment. All vehicles are costly money pits. It’s very telling by the vehicle you want you drive very little per year, take very few trips and have no family. Having kids a wife and traveling putting on around 50K miles a year the vehicle you says is so great would be done. I know because I’ve tried it. Two of my buddies own their own mechanic shops and are swamped by people exactly like you. Gives them great work. 😂😂
@@LestatTravesty Nice fuzzy math there. 800 miles a month on only $100 in gas? More like $120-130 in gas a month and that is if you getting gas at $2.65 to $2.70 gallon and 18mpg, which you are not. It cost me over $200 a month to go 1000 miles with gas at $3.05 gallon in crew cab 4x4 average 15mpg. Insurance is $63 a month.
For the record, when you press the button that includes tax and fees, you can see that you're paying just under $300 with a $2,999 default down payment set. When actually placing your order for the Tesla, it lets you choose the exact amount you want to pay monthly or exact amountg you want to pay on signing. You can pay $200 a month or closer to $450 a month, it all depends how much you want to put down which the max is 5100 or so. I myself chose to pay $3500 upon signing which comes to $322 monthly.
While I'm a bit of a hypocrite in that I own a model 3, I certainly wouldn't buy another Tesla. In fact for a moment I wondered about chopping in my model 3 for the new model Y but I just can't bring myself to do it, I just can't help to line Musks pocket more than I already have.
I'm not 100% ruling out getting rid of my M3 for a Kia ev6.
Just me and of course people can do what they feel they wanna do.
I believe Elon fooled many on his path too thinking that EV toxic lithium cars were or are an eco viable clean solution to better help this planet, lithium is a very toxic element metal, 97% of lithium is not recycled and goes in to land fills or dumps, it is way cheaper to mine lithium than recycle it, lithium is a water guzzling toxic element metal, it takes 1000 gallons of clean water turned very toxic to mine or build one lithium toxic car (just one) this is just lithium and not including cobalt which is another one of many toxic element metals in the build of a lithium toxic car( horrible) the huge amount of lithium used to make just one lithium car is not sustainable for all cars due to the amount of toxic lithium water pollution, on top of this, most lithium cars are still connected to the oil and coal grids! while back scientist researched lithium in sell phones and made a warning about the hazzards of holding a cell phone to long and close to head and stated it may cause brain tumors, just think of all that toxic lithium under car seats next to you while driving and how much exposure one gets from those lithium toxins, i for one will never ever drive a toxic lithium car, this for health reasons
I heard a crazy lib bashing musk. I immediately bought my 16 year old a model y, got a powerwall and wall charger. I invested a ton in the stock and I am eagerly waiting for cybertruck 2 version. Hearing you say this encourages me to support him more. Because u vilify someone who has and is doing immense good for the world.
Is the reason you don’t want another Tesla purely because Elon, does it have anything to do with the car itself ?
@@guybenson9191 this is a good point. What Musk loses in respect, he gains in simps, so maybe Tesla sales will only drop by 25% yr/yr instead of the 50% I was originally expecting.
I like the EV6 as well, but KIA has got to move the NACS charging port to either the driver’s rear corner or the passenger’s front corner. It’s sadly still located in a non-optimal location for Supercharging.
Just bought a 2025 Ioniq 5 and the latest versions have native NACs charge ports built in, works seamlessly at Tesla chargers.

Does it have self driving?
Can you charge it at Tesla supercharging station?
Ioniq 5 is superior, you've made the right choice
Yes, but way more expensive than tesla ev. Almost 2x the price for tesla drivers.@@Trust_but_Verify
I don't understand the M3 maintanence cost numbers...I have had mine for 6 years and have spent less than $1200 total comprising of a set of tires and 2 sets of air filters.
Cost of ownership, not maintenance. Includes charging and insurance
@ i am referring to the number at 1:48 for annual maintanence not the overall operating costs.
The front upper control arms on older 3s break often enough for a TSA, but despite Congressional attention, no recall.
First available appointment with Tesla app was three weeks out.
Probably time to change the wiper blades ;)
You probably drive like a grandma.
@ haha what does that have to do with maintanence costs? I dont do much driving anymore, the FSD does sometimes dribe like a grandma but improving
If you qualify for the tax credit, you SHOULDN'T BE BUYING A CYBER TRUCK!
Rodzack, why so?
@@SmoothLounge7 because it is overpriced, so if your income is low enough to qualify for the credit you would be a fool to buy one.
Why so? Should those who do NOT qualify buy and lose that much money? Why?
@@ER-ws2pb My taxable income was between 70 and 75K last year so I qualify and have a free and clear model X to trade on a Cybertruck...can afford, but no longer comfortable supporting Musk's insanity.

I was planning on buying a Tesla, but due to Musk I would not drive one if it was free.
Yep 100% same for me. I've canceled a Tesla reservation a few years ago because of Elon. Man is one of the most dangerous people on the planet. If Tesla ever gives him the boot, a new Model Y is RIGHT back on the table. Currently, I would never, ever own one.

We knew Elon would run DOGE. We literally voted for him!
Lol. Get rekt. DOGE gonna clean house. Enjoy the next 4 years champ.
The Ionic 6 is a good choice
Whatever you save on operating costs, you end up paying to insurance companies
mine isn't a tesla but full coverage on my car with progressive was $949.20/year. the insurance on the BMW 5 series i had previously was about $1440/year. the only thing that has become more expensive has been the registration fees.
My insurance on my Tesla has been the cheapest car insurance I have ever had. 🤷♂️
I insure 2 Teslas for around $1200 per year.
@ who’s the insurer? 100/300 comprehensive?
Pretty much, though my insurance company just went up 35% because my car is a 2004 and doesn't have all the bells and whistles. I haven't had a speeding ticket in 12 years +. My last and only accident was 24 years ago (I hit a guardrail, lucky I completed a 360 degree and just kept driving (I did have to shampoo seat and toss some pants when I got home). Time for another car I guess.
Seems like Elon's nonsense is finally catching up to them.
Sales are absolutely plummeting. Very pleasing
Can’t wait for Elon to step down and someone else as CEO.
@ he’s an incredible narcissist. I can’t ever see it happening
You forgot the cost of helping finance Musk & Trump's project 2025. That's going to take a big chunk out of your social security.
Trump and musk are stopping corruption in the government. You must be a corrupt democrat!
The cost of trillions dollars in debt will hurt everyone.
Getting rid of taxes on social security but nice try
@@FauxExpert241 raising the retirement age. (Somebody forgot to read the project 2025 manual)
@ so keep collecting social security taxes even if someone makes more than $250,000 a year. Stop building military bases all over the world. Problem solved.
I talked to a Tesla employee the 2,500 discount should last until March 31
Like forsure?
Goog to hear, I am waiting till March to purchase as I am hoping they tag on a finance incentive to close out the quarter but who knows....I may lose the $2500 referral/Loyalty discount lol.
I've had my Model Y for just over 2 yrs, and I just had my first regular maintenance. It cost $158 and they came to my house to do it! I've reduced my fueling cost by 75% from the Volvo XC60 it replaced. ... And I've had no problems to fix. It's been perfect. .... I feel like I haven't spent a nickel to fuel and operate my Model Y in the last 2 yrs.
Can I hit you up on more information on maintenance? I have rotation and alignment due, Tesla coated you charges of 158 for what maintenance?
@@Withinlimits Check the brake fluid, , clean and lubricat brake calipers, replace HVAC combination filter, replace windshield wipers. I didn't need a tire rotation yet because I do half of the year all-season tires and half-year snow tires. They had less less than 5000 miles. No alignment was needed. Tires looked great. Not much regular maintenance to do with an EV.
you don't need any of that lol. with regenerative brake, you barely use ur brakes so it should be good as new. filter and wiper can be easily replaced on ur own.
@@manu4ever249 It wasn't a check of the brake pads or rotors. Everybody that has a Model Y knows the brakes last over 200,000 miles. It IS because the friction brakes are used so little that the brake fluid can go bad and that's why the fluid is checked every 2 yrs.
Plot twist, insurance gonna cost you $250/mo!
I looked into the new lease on the 3 and though the monthly payments are cheap, it quoted over $7,000 upfront for taxes and all other fees. That's not a great deal overall.
You’d pay just as much for a used Jeep or new Civic. Model 3 is the way to go if you can afford it
I was going to possibly do a lease for a model 3 but my insurance would have went up so much that I would be better off just financing it.
I think they would apply the $7500 tax credit to the upfront fees/taxes so you would be $0 out of pocket with the cheap monthly payments
Soooooo… just as much as buying any other new car??? 😂
@@techbyjules not quite.. Tesla is the better deal because you get the $7500 tax credit for it being made in USA. The other cars you would front the $7500 up front.
The Chain bots are on overtime today. 🤣 🤣 🤣
We ban new crypto bots every day. You’d think they’d run out of names for coins by now.
I will try to never give Elon another nickel.
Yes you will, as you will fly at some pint and they use Starlink, more money goes to him there than from Tesla.
Ok, I will then.
@ Also it's not going to do anything other than cheat you out of a good safety rated car that is better than most for the environment (longer per kwh and no cobalt). The "amount" he earns is less than for any of the other things and he really doesn't care about the money, he already has more than he could use.
But if Tesla falls many EV's would also go away as they are only there to counter Tesla, as they earn no money for other brands, meaning the world again moves towards gasolin.
Dont get why these are more expensive in insurance. Should be cheap because they are so safe
New feature involves you doing a certain gesture to get the car doors to open.
How do you get a quote for Tesla insurance? I have looked, but can only find how to sign up, not how to get a quote.
I believed in Elon, his vision, and purpose for his companies since the beginning and was waiting and ready to get the new MY. No longer, I can't believe how crazy and evil he has become. Will be waiting for the Rivian R2 and Aptera.

Actually Tesla was the best selling car in China for the 4th quarter of 2024. Its important to note that all car sales as an industry have seen declining sales so its not just Tesla with sluggish numbers. Another factor is the anticipation of the new model Y, many people including myself have been putting off a new Tesla to wait for it. The reservation numbers for the new Y prove this hypothesis. I reserved mine the first day.

I agree that the Model 3 is an incredible car and fun to drive…the insurance, at least in Maryland, is just nuts.
A combination of Musk and changes to UK VED tax means the Tesla is no longer an option
One reason for higher taxes and fees is many states have not implemented a way to recover the road tax paid by ICE vehicles in every gallon of gasoline. Since EVs don't buy the gasoline, they don't pay the tax. One way to get it is with higher taxes and fees.
I just looked at the article Self, in California, cost of fuel for electric car is $6568, for gas car $4674. Electric car is $1894 more expensive to fuel. The article has an interactive map that allows you to look at the individual states. So, maybe on average the electric car is cheaper to fuel, but you need to know your electricity costs. In the San Francisco area I pay 55 to 65 cents a kilowatt hour. The article states on average an electric car costs 3 cents a mile to fuel, a gas car 10 cents. But at my say 55 cents a kilowatt hour, this works out to be 15 cents a mile.
Do you not have the ability to charge at home? PGE is like $.32 kw from 0001-1200 is you are on their EV plan. Still shitty and overpriced but better than peak .55-.60.
Insurance rates are not always based on price, especially for Tesla since it's so damn expensive to fix it if you crash
Would love to upgrade from my 2018 M3, but I cannot because of the Elon factor. I am not even sure I want to keep my current Tesla, but I own it out right, and I paid FSD when I purchased it, and it is finally getting good enough to actually use.

I would almost bet it’s 2 or 3 every 3/6 months it changes with Tesla they are constantly doing updates even mid production so it’s hard to tell
Has any tried the polestar 3
I think there is a real market for factory painted CyberTrucks in all the great Tesla colors, surpassing wraps.
I was in Naples Florida earlier this week and I drove by the Tesla store, and the parking lot was just FULL of CyberTrucks.. I don't know how many.. If I were to guess, probably 200, but just a guess.
Kind of deceptive generalization. Depends on regional costs.
At nearly 50¢ per kWhr and $ 5.00 per gallon and shop labor rates $120 -$220 per hour, costs are higher in California.
The Toyota hybrids are about the same, the cheaper ICE vehicles close with almost none of the downsides of EVs.
The perks of owning an electric car are slowly coming to an end. Now they charge higher registration tax for the cars. They also charge higher insurance for the cars. It's making me want to not be bothered anymore.
Big changes in the Netherlands: Model S AWD €93.990 €110.990 €17.000
Model S Plaid €108.990 €120.990 €12.000
Model X AWD €100.990 €115.990 €15.000
Model X Plaid €115.990 €125.990
I really do believe that there is point as a society where we need to reject Tesla and Elon. It is crystal clear at this point that America is heading down a very dangerous road. My personal comfort and financial gains come secondary to making a better place in America for everyone to live in. It is saddening to see you still promoting Tesla.
I'll order an extra one
So screw the environment because you disagree with a person ? As you can't buy Ford, VW, Porsche or Mercedes either then. The Chinese are off the table because of government slavery and genocide, can't buy Korean either as they are a racist society, did slavery and is more company controlled that the US, it's not called the country of Samsung for nothing.
What country is run by poor people that is successful?
@@jamiered7102ha. Nope.
Many forget that many Tesla owners can charge overnight at a mere 1.7 cents kW or $1.19/315 miles!!!=about 60x cheaper than gasoline!!!
You better drive alot to justify an EV.
Yea maybe out on a farm in the Midwest. It's 50 cents per kw in the bay area
where?
.17 cents kW here in MD, still $11 to go 320 miles vs. between $50 and $60 in my ICE vehicle here now while the price of gas is not much over $3.20/gallon. That comes to a little over $2,000 a year I have saved on fuel, not to mention no oil changes, exhaust system, antifreeze, timing belt, transmission service, or check engine lights to worry about. Any ICE vehicle that can keep up to my model X is getting about 10mpg, so double the savings there. Just wish Elon wasn't such a nut job ass wipe.
As a FSD subscriber, I would never pay for the upgrade to hardware 4 equipment. If I see that FSD is not running properly on my 2021 model 3 then I’ll just cancel my subscription. Elon mentioned last year that Hardware 5 was 18 months away. Guessing in real life Elon time thats about 2 to 2 1/2 years away so I’ll just buy a new Tesla with hardware 5 already equipped and hand my model 3 down to my teenage son.
Is lease instant credit? I wouldn’t apply for ev credits. I make way too much
This video helped me call Tesla and change referral and save 2000$
249$ would actually be good. In Romania the lease will be for 540€.
unfortunately, your lease prices were NOT the REAL price - they included an estimated gas savings of $100/mo. it's disappointing that you didn't mention that
I always subtract gas savings. Model 3 lease is $249/mo.
@@RyanShawtech but that isnt real cost if you're going from an EV to an EV
@@FractalPrism.what is the price when you do that? And how do yk
These are the real prices…he disabled gas savings.
@@RyanShawtechI disagree ; bought a Tesla 2 weeks ago because lease option w taxes was $430 monthly. Tesla doesn’t go below a 7% on lease. The promo advertised was $299. Please keep your information real
I’ll never buy another Tesla. I got rid of my Model X Plaid. Best car decision I’ve ever made.
$2500 doesn't apply to Model Y, only $500
Tesla’s odometer is wrong. I only drove 34 miles today but added 40miles to my odometer. I check reddit and so many people complaining about this issue
But insurance is ridiclously expensive?
New EVs are still too expensive for majority of people who can only afford 1 car in the family. Don't forget the crazy depeciation come costs on them.
Elon can make a cheaper model, but that would hurt his profits canabalizing sales from his other models.
Model y owner for almost 2 years with about 20k mileage of it.... Rotated tires 3 times..... And it was only $50 each time..... So maintenance wise 2 years $150
Insurance is less for this than my 2021 Chrysler Pacifica family van so I'm not sure where you are getting those numbers from
At this point, I am embarrassed to own my Tesla now
Been looking at a tesla but a tow truck driver told me his brother's tesla ran a red-light and t boned a car and found him at fault for the accident and he also said he picks them up in the winter because of covered sensors idk I mite wait for now but one day I'll get one
These incentives are killing the used Tesla car market.
Hybrids or plugin hybrids are cheaper than EV’s to drive if you have to use charging stations. Cheaper to drive by 50% or more with gas at $3.00 a gallon in much of US. Unless you have home charging buy a Hybrid like Toyota which now get from 55 or more MPG. If you have home charging the plugin hybrids are on par or better than an EV. Plus you can buy them cheaper and they do not depreciate like a boat.
My insurance for 2023 M3SR is $1325.00 full coverage with $500 deductible 50k 100k 50k levels in Mid MO USA.
Insurance in Nova Scotia. My revivifier was quoted $987.00 CDN/yr for a 2025 $56,000 Model3. $2400.00/yr for a $36,000.00 Honda Civic…
I think that the upcharge for the FSD conversion for those who did not outright purchase FSD with their car will be closer to the $5,000 to $7,500 range. It will involve wiring harness change, cameras and a computer... There will also be a significant amount of labor involved...
Not sure why you kept referring to the $599 or $749 lease when that's based on over $10,000 own in the CT's case
You didn't factor in insurance - at least for me, Insurance on a model Y is more than double what a new Hyundai Tucson hybrid costs me. Why?
Because Teslas are insanely expensive to fix. A small dent on your back fender can run you $2000.
Sales are crashing worldwide, people are not happy and there’s only one person to blame. I’m glad to see people voting with their wallets!
Was thinking of trading in my 2021 M3 for the new model but the trade-in value killed the deal. Trade-in value for used Tesla is horrible.

Is there any news on the model Y performance?
They go boom.
You couldn’t give me a Tesla, Elon sucks
lol give the Tesla to me then
And why are you still watching TESLA content??!😅
Because watching the sales numbers fall off a cliff over the next month in Europe will give a good measure of which countries would buy a vehicle associated with Elon.
Who pays taxes on a vehicle every year? I thought all states had gone to paying taxes up from at the time of purchase.
it cost me +$700 to license each year vs my ICE CSUV
Tesla should consider subtracting the “Potential Maintenance Savings over the lifetime of your genome” to the purchase price on their website.
New for model s
I have a 2024 Model 3 that I bought in March 2024. Insurance on it is super expensive
Thank you for the information, video, and all the effort you put into your channel. Constructive comment... A vocal coach might be beneficial to help eliminate the vocal fry at the end of sentences.
I’m in Canada and purchased Model Y December 23; hardware version three. I feel I got screwed having computer already outdated in a year!
Should have done your research. Your mistake. It was well publicized that AI 4 was imminent
@ I did and if you search everywhere it says that MIC since 2022 had v4; I guess batches for Canada were either older or ‘special’
Has smart summon been stopped? My model S had it and now it's gone. Have you heard anything?😮
If HW3 to HW4 upgrade cost is going to be >$3000 for subscription customers, I'd argue it makes more sense to just pay the full $8k and get free hardware upgrades, which is what I suspect Tesla may prefer.
Tesla has raised prices CAD$4000-9000 here in Canada Feb 1 for no reason other than Elon hates Canada. I love our Teslas, but I want him kicked out of the company. Its embarrassing to drive one now.
Blame your liberal government. Never saw any aspect of the economy they could not F-Up.
@ it’s got nothing to do with any government.
I vote for upgrading HW3 to HW5 directly
Tesla should insure their own vehicle. Especially if they have FSD
M3 AWD lease in Canada is over 830$ a month, including gas savings! Disguised tarrifs from Elonia Trump?
And of course with the $7500 tax credit if you only owe $2000 on your federal, taxes that is all the credit will cover. Since they take it off at the point of sale you will suddenly find out you owe Uncle Sam an additional $5500 to pay back the full credit they already gave the manufacturer.
(asking chatgpt)
is this accurate "And of course with the $7500 tax credit if you only owe $2000 on your federal, taxes that is all the credit will cover. Since they take it off at the point of sale you will suddenly find out you owe Uncle Sam an additional $5500 to pay back the full credit they already gave the manufacturer."
Thought for 4 seconds
Understanding tax implications
I’m checking the statement about the $7500 tax credit and its application on federal taxes. The credit is non-refundable, covering up to the tax owed, with any excess potentially requiring repayment.
Clarifying the application
Noticing a potential error: the federal EV tax credit isn't applied at the point of sale but during tax filing. Any excess credit beyond tax owed doesn't necessitate repayment.
Understanding tax credit mechanics
Federal EV tax credits are claimed on tax returns, not upfront, and are non-refundable. Dealers might offer equivalent price reductions to cover the credit amount.
Clarifying tax implications
I'm examining the $7,500 federal electric vehicle tax credit, highlighting its non-refundable nature and the eventual $5,500 balance due if the credit exceeds tax liability.
Clarifying the mechanics
The EV tax credit applies to tax liability, not requiring repayment if the credit exceeds liability. However, it’s contingent on meeting income qualifications, unlike the previously stated scenario.
Understanding the point-of-sale tax credit
OK, let me see. Choosing the point-of-sale tax credit means no extra tax liability if the credit surpasses the liability. This simplifies the process for vehicle buyers.
Analyzing the claim
The assertion about owing extra money due to the EV tax credit is misplaced. This credit is non-refundable, meaning no further liability beyond tax owed.
Breaking down the mechanics
OK, let me see. The EV tax credit effectively reduces tax liability to $0 but stops there. No surplus credit is refunded or needed to be reimbursed, and the transaction is finalized at the point of sale.
That's utter nonsense. The EV tax credit is nonrefundable-it only reduces your tax bill by what you owe. If you only owe $2,000, you get a $2,000 credit. There's no hidden clause that forces you to pay an extra $5,500 later. The point‐of‐sale option just gives you an upfront discount, not a future tax bill.
Just to clarify: you need $7500 of total tax liability for the year. Not $7500 owed at tax time.
@@Icg123 yes you need to owe at least $7500 AFTER your standard deduction or itemized deductions, child credit, etc. in order to get the full credit
would never get a tesla even if they paid me!
Bought a 2024 tesla model 3 love it! Will not buy another tesla as long as the snake is CEO! Tucson AZ
Well that's dumb. Thats like not going to a restuarant you love cause you see your neighbor there you don't like.
Snake? Elon? He's proving to be a true patriot, and if Tesla quality improves to BMW standards i think i would buy one.
Takes a snake to know a snake.
@@pabs5270 lol don't worry when the economy finally improves under Trump/Musk, you will benefit too. Then you can buy a Rivian or Lucid if it makes you feel better;)
Ego-n Musk is killing it !
It’s still only £500 off in the UK will it be more discount soon ?
No, Telsa will be the first company to be tariffed.
Those prices for Teslas from inventory are incorrect, or misleading if you wish. For instance, you can't get a Model 3 RWD for $32,490. That includes $7500 for the federal tax credit, and around $5000 for 5 year gas savings depending on the state. In my state, that price is $42490 without the tax credit and gas savings. Coincidentally, the price for custom ordering about the same model is also $42,490.
There are a lot of vehicles better than the average. A Camry hybrid is far cheaper to own and operate than a Model 3.
