    Thanks Jansen. Crisp and professional presentation, factual with actual demo on type of ground where the product would be well worth it , to save yourself from possible catastrophic fall. For someone fishing types of marks that are tricky when loaded with kit, sometimes you just have to put things in perspective.

    Thats a serious bit of kit , great value for money i recon, ideal for the more challenging night venues on the south wales coast , Penarth head looking good at 4000 lumens 😀 Time for an upgrade from the trusty led lenser xeo

    Why is the interface not attached directly to the lamp and battery compartment? Why is a piece of cable permanently attached to both devices and the connection in the middle of that cable?

    Nice light, don’t scrimp when in bear country at night. I want to see as much as possible when the stick goes snap in the night.

    I can't pull the trigger on this one, the integrated/proprietary battery pack is a deal breaker. They should have just kept it the same as the HP30R, 2 standard 21700s.

      @AmisCorolla I bought the hmr75 with the battery extender the torch is amazing the battery extender not it reduces the power so just get the se version and take extra battery's it for some reason the 18650s last longer than the 21700 extender I sent it back and bought this hp35r only a 150grams more ish for so much extra range and brightness plus you can just get the hp30 battery pack if you need replaceable battery's

      After now owning this for several months, I've found it so big and bulky to put on, that I find myself preferring the HM65R for most applications like camping and working in the garage as it is plenty bright enough. However, I'm looking forward to using it for hunting and ice fishing .

    • @randomescu
      @randomescu 3 місяці тому

      @@jct5783 you may consider HM65R-DT for snow, ice or wet terrain. The warm white is crazy good for that. Or maybe a lamp like CL27R or 28R.

    Are you sure that was 4000LM at 18:36? That doesn't look anywhere near what the spotlight was giving out at 15:04. Even the floodlight at 17:26 looks brighter. It doesn't look close to 4000LM output at 19:12.
    I don't think you had both on turbo, because the turbo result looks dimmer than each light on it's own.

    Only 1 negative. They should put: 1.floodlight 2.spotlight 3.combined (floodlight + spotlight). So that when you turn on light you have minimum floodlight first.. 😢.

    I was almost sold on one. But the battery is not interchangeable. I use my lights every night. Walking my dogs. The battery would only last me a few years at best. Not dropping $200 on a light. That I can't change batteries on. I ended up getting a Imalent Ht70. Supposed to hold 800 lumens. While this one supposed to hold 1,200. Which is crazy for a head lamp. I really wanted this one.

    • @Mr.Thermistor7228
      @Mr.Thermistor7228 3 місяці тому +1

      Come on don't kid yourself you know damn well you can break into that pack and get to the batteries and swap it out. There is no way that is not possible. Even though they say it's "fully sealed" they had to get batteries and assemble it somehow and that means there is a point where 2 pieces have to come together. Find that point and there you go your in.

    • @9hk38f
      @9hk38f 3 місяці тому

      @@Mr.Thermistor7228 I’m not paying $200 for a product. I have to borderline damage. To make functional. For $200 it better come with a lap dance. Let alone me having to put work into it. I bought the Imalent HD70 on pre order for $30. Knowing I’d have to modify for comfort. That’s fine. But $200? I’ll take my money elsewhere.

      A £25.00 headlight is unlikely to be very high quality and wouldn’t stand up to hard use over a long period of time. If you’re fishing regularly at potentially dangerous locations, a good headlamp is a must for serious anglers.
