Today we walk the streets of Binondo (Manila's Chinatown) and try 12 different dishes, including street food. Said to be the world's oldest Chinatown, Binondo is filled with so many food options. You might have to do a couple food crawls to check them all out! Watch the video to see the yummy adventure unfold :)

When I was in college, I literally go to Chinatown in Manila every other weekend just to go eat Lan zhou la mien! I love beef knife cut noodles and their specialty, spare ribs la mien! You should have tried their dessert, the fried squash. It is oily but not greasy, perfect after eating salty noodles!
I’ve been there a couple times and I can say that my top choices would be the sweet tea from Dong Bei, fried pork noodles in Tasty not too far from Dong Bei, soy chicken in Prosperity Restaurant, and the egg tarts in Lord Stows which was also pretty popular in hk.
M planning to go back there again soon.

He just seemed curious to talk to tourists + they were being filmed too so that’s probably why he came up to them. I thought he was being friendly and was just asking them stuffs for small talk. The arm around them is unusual but it’s a way to welcome them in a way.
What he did was not disrespectful at all. Most Filipinos are just too timid to do that.
Most Filipinos are clingy. But hanging arms to a stranger is unusual.

I feel sorry for myself, I lived in Manila but never got to set foot in Binondo and try the Dimsum Houses like this. Now I have something to look forward to when I visit Manila. Thanks to your video. FYI, that literally is a hamburger bun used for the ice cream.
Our hamburger buns are really like hawaiian rolls.
@@miguelflores656 true, we mostly have sweet bread. Even if the names are similar the taste is sweeter than bread from other countries. I noticed this a lot in Jollibee taste test videos, a lot of people comment on how the bun is sweet compared to the normal burger buns they have. They even compare it to brioche buns and some, like Mommy oh, say it tastes like a dinner roll. It's the first I heard of anyone comparing it to Hawaiian rolls though 😊😊😊

Coming from a Chinese family you get used to chicken feet...it's good but depends on where you get it

Right, I noticed that too. There are chicken feet that is really good but there are that doesn't taste right.
Miss Mina and her Mom are so awesome together. They compliment each other in a way. Miss Mina is outspoken and her Mom seems to be a reserve but cool lady. The bonding that they are doing while filming is so genuine. They are really appreciative of the things they get to encounter along the way.
They share a lot of what they are trying and I think that is so sweet. Its practical way of trying things and creates intimacy with love ones.

I tried cheese ice cream for the first time this past weekend. I was completely surprised at how much I liked it. The texture is chewy but it was sweet and creamy! Best experience I’ve had so far!
Miss Mina. I recommend you guys visit Tagaytay and eat bulalo there. Hot beef soup plus cold weather perfect and then tawilis (small crispy fish).
You can eat those in Nanay Doris Bulalohan.
