Aside from food, Granville Island is home to an abundance of art and culture. You’ll find artist studios, art galleries, and more. Those who love nature will enjoy the greenery around Ron Basford Park. I imagine it’ll be a great place to picnic too. My favorite part about traveling is culture, nature, art, food, and quirky boutiques. I tend to gravitate towards historic towns that are well-kept and have a strong artistic population. I'm a foodie and an artist so I like that scene.
How lucky you are to have your Mother travel with you and share all of the delectable food and drinks. Thank you for sharing your travels!

At first I was wondering that Mina is not into coffees. As I know mina is a tea person then mommy oh and you got coffee still I was confused then you clarified that nowadays you are more into coffee and I was like it’s a very good coincidence because nowadays I’m also more into coffee. Recently I tried americano with cinnamon and Cardamom it really changed my Prospective towards coffee and now I’m also into coffees just like you. Cheers mina ✌️
Oooh americano with cinnamon and cardamom sounds yummy! Mommy Oh fell in love with coffee due to the taste. I got into coffee a few months ago for productivity purposes. Makes me feel alive and now I can't get out of it lol. Cheers to our new coffee-licious chapter in life! 🎉

I haven't been down to Granville Island in ages, but I do remember this little French restaurant just off the bridge a bit, they had this wonderful mussel/french fry dish I loved. I went down with my Godmother for the day, and she treated me to lunch there.
I used to live in Vancouver and loved Granville Island. That à la mode looked fantastic! Vancouver is such a wonderful city.

I’ve been watching this Chanel for like 4 years maybe more and it never fails to entertain me
Even though I live in the metro Vancouver area, I still like going to Granville Island. They used to have a booth for Maple's Sugar Shack, which sells maple syrup. LOVE that stuff! Also, just before Christmas they have Yule-type celebrations as well. Not sure if the parade will come back this year, but it's a neat experience too. I'd also suggest come down by transit, not car if you can help it.

So that’s what Granville Island looks like when it’s not raining. Went last year and it’s was pouring rain. Long lines to get into the market so I gave up. So much I missed so will definitely go back. Salmon and maple sounds interesting. I’ll definitely go back to try it. Thanks for the recommendations. Love your channel.

a lot of the tourist never get past the big market or the shops that area in there you guys went to other places & tryd some of the local things witch made you feel right at home like a resident smoked maple fish & clam chowder potpie only in Canada you pick a good time to go vist the country 😁✌❤

yay!!! loved this! I was born in Vancouver and was there recently to deliver my baby. While waiting to go into labour I went to Granvil one morning, specifically to get lunch and bring pastries back ro the hotel. While sitting on a bench a seagul grabbed my bag and expertly removed my food packages and then a bunch of his friends chimmed in and stole my lunch and sweets! Being very pregnant I started to cry but everyone around me was so nice. I too am still sad about my dropped foods! Thanks for showing Canada!

I went to Granville when I was 10! Looks like so much fun :) hope you’re able to stop by the Madrona Market in the next two weeks! Some good veggies/fruit there :) and there’s an Ethiopian restaurant I really like called Meskels on 26th and Cherry. And Lowrider cookies near 24th and Union! And Communion also in that area

Using u as reference for Canada next yr when I go visit my girl in Seattle.
Many supermarkets a round coastal BC carry a range of candied or double smoked salmon, the candied salmon is good to just snack on, but the double smoked, either chopped or flaked can be added to a light cream sauce, which is delicious over pasta - I imagine you could do the same over a baked potato or similar too?
