AKG BMW E34 E32 Bump Steer Spacer Install & Review. A MUST HAVE for lowered cars!

- Edit: These have been out for a while apparently, but I guess I live in a cave and just saw some others posting about them so I bought some.
Is your E34 or E32 on coilovers? If so, you NEED these now! These spacers completely absolved all bumpsteer issues I had experienced for YEARS in my 1995 BMW 540i.
In this video I go over the install, premise and review of installing these on one of my E34's. The install is VERY easy with minimal filing required to the lower groove and one bolt hole. Installing these changes the minimum wheel diameter requirements so I think 15" wheels are out of the question when using the 1" Spacers.
These are available in 1/2" and 1" depending on how low your car is.

That v8 sounds so good. And yes, style 5 are the best wheels, I have them on my e39, juat wish i could find the 17x9 for a staggered set
Love the channel! I have an e46 wagon that I've installed H&R track in the front and m3 springs in the rear and kyb's all the way around. I love the look and the way it handles I also have the same car in xi that I did eibach and bills all the way around. On both cars I've ran 225/45/18s. My problem is that it fights the crown of the road so bad that it will literally steer itself and tracks all over the place on groves pavement. I swapped out the 18s with 17s and the problem sorta went away but it still wanders. I had a 4 wheel alignment done but its still there. Both cars have adjustable trailer arms in the rear and the fronts aren't cambered at all so I haven't even researched if I can adjustable plates for the front for a non could've strut. Any suggestions? Also any idea on how to get rid of the reverse rake on the xi? Thanks and I'm now a subscriber!
Thnx for the info bro 🤘 A friend of mine told me to do this, but i totaly forgotten this 😅🙈 And thnx for showing its necessary to modify them a bit before mounting. I have a 1990 model 535i with Supersport lowering 50/30mm and have Style 32, 18" 8" in front an 9" back. You think 1" spacers are the right size for me ? Again, thnx for the info video 👍

So this would make sense I’ve had 4 e34’s and always noticed steering issues or toe adjustments were never right after lowering them

I'm running 16's with the 1 inch spacer and she fits fine
How much clearance do you still have? I’m about to buy 30mm spacers (akg are not available) and they are 4.6mm thicker. Wondering if they’d still fit 16” style 5
@@AG-pl9fx car has 19's on it now so cant measure it but when I was running the 16's is was probably just a couple of mm in clearance

A friend of mine says that the car is correspondingly much higher with a normal lowering kit and that this is best if the car has adjustable coilovers. Do you know if this is true?
Not true, the control arms sit at the stock height, but the car will sit lower
If I get these which I probably will I’d have to re adjust my rev9’s I’m sure

Delwynne Lennon it depends on how low your car is. If you have lowering springs I’d do 1/2”, if you have coilovers and are pretty low I’d do 1”

Lowered 1.25 with h&r and currently have 2" from center of spindle to closest wheel contact.
What is your e34 lowered on?
