How I think about Japanese (a couple days into Duolingo…)

This is my first step into talking through my thoughts to the internet! I love learning new things, and I get excited to tell others about what I just learned. Figured I might be able to find someone interested out there on the internet.
Today’s subject was learning basic Japanese as an English speaker. Walking through my thoughts on how I’m approaching the basics of Japanese language.

As someone who’s half Japanese and half white, I’m going to enjoy watching these new videos ☺️
I don’t know much Japanese, but my grandparent’s “Spanglish” is English, with a Japanese word, and a Hawaiian saying lol
