This is so wonderful. Thank you for all of your hard work developing this masterpiece. 4 years ago I played around with a microbit to make an interesting instrument that I showed on my youtube channel, but it only played a standard square wave. Later I used microbit to make a midi controller that connected via bluetooth to my tablet, but it would always work for just a little while until losing connection. I've always wanted to find something that would not rely on midi, and would be able to provide me with some interesting sound samples. While looking around for something exactly like that what you have created, I finally stumbled upon you channel. I'm SO EXCITED! I immediately went to your site and ordered your kit. Thank you again!
@@KontinuumLAB Your videos are very clear about the capabilities of the set up. I have have no doubts I will enjoy this, and hope to make something fabulous to help promote your genius.
I can easily see this as a way to enhance existing midi instruments; case in point this could add after touch to a YouRock midi guitar... Just add a string long strip (or maybe multiplex to make it per region for tapping ... maybe even down to the fret level?) and boy that would make the instrument way more expressive. Will this device be restocked at a later date?
Hi! I was wondering if the raspberry Pi Pico can be used for these types of projects, specifically midi drum pad instruments. It seems like it should maybe have the capability? Have you looked into this? Much cheaper than Teensy micro-controller if it can be utilized. Thanks!
