I have a theory. So, most people think that Betty is afraid of monsters so she decided to kill them out of fear. This does not work because when Toriel tried to touch Betty and Kumu reacted, Betty told Kumu that she "Wasn't going to hurt her." Also, Betty was there when Frisk and Sans were talking about the resets. Therefore, I think something may have happened to Betty or a friend after the monsters came to the surface and she killed the monsters in hopes that Frisk will just reset so she could go back and stop whatever happened. It's just a theory, but if u like it or have improvements, be sure to like and comment them down below.
I'm not saying this is a bad theory but it's actually confirmed in one of the Glitchtale episodes that "Fear" was Bravery looking for a way to beat Determination and they found Fear and once she became Fear it took over and the reason Betty was killing is because that's why she exists but still a cool theory!! ^.^

m-chan te recomiendo de cuanto agas sombra de hojos usa un moraso lila algo grisaseo ya que asi queda mejor y cunto agas brillo en rosado te recomiendo que tires en la ruleta de colores un poco asia el morado
