Infinite Dreams is criminally ignored. I get in arguments all the time because I think it is the best track on SSoaSS. Wasted Years is very well recognized by fans, but seems to get ignored when people list Maidens defining songs. This is a good list of deep tracks.
Joe Hogan Definitely my favourite from SSOASS. The whole album is pretty solid but Infinite Dreams and the title track are the best for me. Another 3 songs that I adore (and usually get ignored) are 22 Acacia Avenue, To Tame A Land and The Duellists.
Iron Maiden - 22 Acacia Avenue is another great song from this album. From the first album,Prowler,Remember Tommoorw,Strange World and Of course, Phantom Of The Opera and the instrumental Transylvania would be great to react to. Other great songs from them: Purgatory,Wrathchild, Ides Of March (instrumental),Another Life, Killers, are Alexander The Great, Seventh Son Of The Seventh Son, To Tame A Land ,Infinite Dreams,The Clairvoyant,Heaven Can Wait, Deja Vu,Caught Somewhere In Time,Wasted Years, The Evil That Men Do,Montsegur,Where Eagles Dare,Quest For Fire,Afraid To Shoot Strangers,Fear Of The Dark (preferabbly Live At Donnington 22.8.1992),T Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner,Flash Of The Blade,The Duellist,Aces High,Be Quick Or Be Dead (Live At Donnington 22.8.12),Judas Be My Guide,For The Greater Good Of God,The Talisman (En Vivo!), The Trooper,Revelations
Iron Maiden is great for doing songs based on movies, tv shows, books & literature, mythology & religion, and history. This song is from the movie of the same name, or maybe it was Village Of The Damned - whichever, it's essentially the same concept. There's an old Keanu Reeves (as his "Bill & Ted" character) meme that says : "What if Iron Maiden was set up by educators to secretly teach people literature & history?" :-D I wouldn't be surprised : - Literature - • STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND : based on the Robert Heinlein book of the same name • DUNE aka TO TAME A LAND : based on the Frank Herbert book (song title changed to TO TAME A LAND due to objections by the book's author to use the name DUNE) • MOONCHILD : based on the Aleister Crowley book of the same name • THE RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER : based on the Samuel Taylor Coleridge poem of the same name • MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE : based on the Edgar Allen Poe story of the same name • TRANSYLVANIA : based on the homeland of the Bram Stoker story's eponymous character, Dracula • PHANTOM OF THE OPERA : based on the Gaston Leroux story of the same name - History - • QUEST FOR FIRE : based on pre-history, dawn of early man • ALEXANDER THE GREAT : based on the Greek conquerer • THE IDES OF MARCH : based on Julius Caesar • THE TROOPER : based on the Crimean War • INVADERS : based on the Vikings in Europe • SUN & STEEL : based on Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, author of The Book Of Five Rings • ACES HIGH : based on the WWII 1940s Battle of Britain • GENGHIS KHAN : based on the Mongolian conqueror • RUN TO THE HILLS : based on the Native American "Indian" conflicts • BACK IN THE VILLAGE : based on the Vietnam War (song written as a sequel to THE • PRISONER) • 2 MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT : based on the US/USSR nuclear standoff • THE DUELLISTS : based on the "gentlemanly" resolution of personal conflicts in Renaissance-era Europe - Comparative Religion & Mythology - • PURGATORY : based on the Catholic Catechism • THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST : based on the Biblical eschatology • REVELATIONS : based on the Bible • SEVENTH SON OF A SEVENTH SON : based on Irish folklore • POWERSLAVE : based on Egyptian mythology • THE FLIGHT OF ICARUS : based on Greek mythology • THE PROHECY : based on mysticism • THE CLAIRVOYANT : based on mysticism • THE APPARITION : based on supernatural phenomenon • HEAVEN CAN WAIT : based on near-death & out-of-body experiences • DÉJÀ-VU : based on the theory of memories carried over and recalled from past lives (reincarnation) • DIE WITH YOUR BOOTS ON : based on the Nostradamus Prophecies - Sociology & Criminology - • PROWLER : based on deviant behavior • CHARLOTTE THE HARLOT : based on a fictional prostitute, prostitution & the Red Light District • 22 ACACIA AVENUE : based on prostitution & the Red Light District, a sequel to CHARLOTTE THE HARLOT • KILLERS : based on criminal behavior • INNOCENT EXILE : based on the flaws of the criminal justice system • STILL LIFE (NIGHTMARES) : based on criminal insanity • GANGLAND : based on the mobs & organized crime of the 1920s-1950s • HALLOWED BE THY NAME : based on 16th/17th Century capital punishment • ANOTHER LIFE : based on suicide - Media & Cinema - • THE PRISONER : based on the TV Series • THE FUGITIVE : based on the TV Series • WHERE EAGLES DARE : based on the film of the same name • QUEST FOR FIRE : based on the film of the same name • CHILDREN OF THE DAMNED : based on the 1964 film • THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST : inspired by a nightmare Steve Harris had after seeing THE OMEN film franchise
Great reaction. I can tell you're really into it which is great to watch! It's like we can listen to this song for the first time again through you. Lots of great suggestions above, but I might add Blood Brothers to the list since it's mid-tempo and has a big crescendo like this track. Keep doing this!
I recommend you.... Phantom of the Opera Rime of the Ancient Mariner Wasted years Alexander the great Caught somewhere in time The clansman Out of the silent planet Fear of the dark Aces high Powerslave Seventh son of a seventh son Flight of icarus The clairvoyant The evil That men do ... ufff, they have a lot of great songs. also react to the Finnish band, Nightwish, when you can, please. Another nice reaction. Just caught on to your channel, new sub for sure. Iron Maiden has always been one of my favorite bands. My top 5 Iron Maiden songs are Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Caught Somewhere in Time, Phantom of the Opera, The Trooper, 2 Minutes to Midnight. For another great band try Judas Priest, some suggestions for them Hellrider, Painkiller, All Guns Blazing, Love Bites, Some Heads Are Gonna Roll.
Excellent Review...., Hope you can check one of Iron Maiden newer songs, The Talisman(En Vivo)..., Iron Maiden's Songwriting is always been Unique, Powerful, regardless of decade or band changes..... Their Live Shows are breathtaking ..., Ass Kicking/Heart Squeezing Band......, Thanks..., and keep up the great work!!!!
The song is talking about the old black and white horror movie by the same name. The music itself is a half slow song and half fast song. It speeds up at the end, but the beginning of it is a slow ballad. "Roads to Madness" from Queensryche is similar to this. Starts slow and ends fast.
Great that you like this song, I always have. As a recommendation check out Total Eclipse, which was mistakenly omitted from Number of the Beast in my humble opinion. It was B-side to Run to the Hills but if I remember right, Steve Harris of Iron Maiden had some regrets about not including the track on the original album. It was later added to the re-mastered cd but the excellent live performance is available on UA-cam as well. Maybe you can review it and let us know your thoughts QB.
Hey Queen Bee, new viewer here. Just watched your "Hallowed" reaction. Iron Maiden is my all time favorite band. I'm an OG Metal Head. Love watching people listen to Maiden for the first time and realizing just how good they really are. If you want a more upbeat song of theirs, I suggest "Aces High" or "Phantom of the Opera". I believe you have a new sub here.
Maiden has been my favorite band since the first time I listened to the killers album in 1982. They don't make bad music period. Steve Harris is a genius that should be appreciated for the great story teller that he is.
Now that you have listened to Iron Maiden it’s time for you to experience Iron Maiden. Try the live shows. Do Rime of the Ancient Mariner or Fear of the Dark live. Also Dance of Death or The Clansman just to name a few. But do the live videos of them. It will blow you away.
good song, they played on one tour, and play this song just in our countrie and just for us i remeber that very well... do and listen more of maiden, Infinite Dreams, caught somewhere in time, blood brothers from rock in rio live.... i saw all yours videos, just keep it goin` and listen to more of maiden they are most epic band ever, peace and love !
I figured you might have since it's the most popular one. Honestly, it's very simple to pick the next good Maiden song. Just make a list and point blindly... lol
This was a song I burned out on when I was a kid, they played it on the radio all the time and I just got tired of it, but hearing it now for the first time in decades, it really holds up. other Maiden tunes I would recommend are Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner and To Tame a Land.
Hey Sharisse ... just found your channel and love the reactions. Highly recommend; The Clansman, Phantom of the Opera (Live After Death version), Stanger in a Strange Land
awesome reaction!!! this is one of the best songs of one of my favorite bands!!! thank u so much for nthat! thry out "Wasted Years" and "Revelations (life after death album version)"
You might like "Journeyman", probably their only song which you could entitle completely as a power ballad... I personally love it. Also you might want to check Bruce Dickinson's solo works. There are quite some great songs to be found 😊
My favorite Maiden songs are (in no order)... "Deja Vu", "The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner", "Alexander the Great", "7th Son of a 7th Son", "Fear of the Dark", "Powerslave", "Rime of the Ancient Mariner", "To Tame a Land", "The Trooper", "Aces High", "Hallowed be thy Name", "Children of the Damned" and many more...
You pretty lady are most likely from New England!! The accent!! I've enjoyed watching your vids, you got yourself a new sub! Cheers, from New Brunswick, Canada!!

Heyyy nice one Sharisse! Iron Maiden's actually done one straight up love ballad called "Wasting Love" which is pretty damn good in a kinda dated way, but still works imo (I'm a big softy really!)... Buttttt probs not a big requested song. On the flip side they've got some faster, more aggressive stuff like "Aces High" and "Be Quick or be Dead" which is thrashy as hell if in that mood. "Powerslave" the title track off the album of the same name is really atmospheric and headbangy at the same time (that Iron Maiden mix y'know?) Just a couple off the top of my head I thought I'd mention, cos I'd love to see you do more. Anyway, great video. -Owen (Btw greetings from Scotland, from a Scottish/Viking/slightly Irish and God knows what else guy lol!)
Bar Barian lol greetings from New York!! I’m gonna take a shot and say you will be watching Conor Mcgregor this coming Saturday. You think he will beat Kabib?
Oh hell fucking yeah! ...probably! Gotta lean that way. How about you? Btw, I guessed New York, been and loved it. Loved the people, have a couple of disreputable bodybuilding friends from there, showed me a particularly eye opening night club! This was ages ago (just turned 40 recently) when I was a wide eyed young guy, and had to be told, "dude, no big deal but just so you know, that's a dude!" Good times and the best pizza on the planet. 👍
Def best pizza! I’m a huge fan of both but I’m partial to Mcgregor, I went to his fight when he won the 2nd belt. Should be a great fight, never a bad fight when it’s Connor
True on both counts, can't argue with any of that. It'll be a show for sure -Kabib's excellent too and a def gonna be a great one. Just wish I had an NY pizza to go with it!
As always...BEAUTIFUL!!! Reaction...please next react to Caught Somewhere in Time or Hallowed Be Thy Name live version from 1982 im pretty sure it will blow your head!!!🤘 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

You can listen to any Maiden album prior to Blaze Bailey becoming the lead singer and find them all solid. Front to back, not a bad song anywhere. Pick any song and you'll love it.
Iron Maiden has a abundance of great song's, seriously if you liked this you are on your way to becoming a maiden fan if you explore them more. My song for you to choose is Alexander The Great for some great history with a emotional roller coaster of a solo and Rime of the Ancient Mariner for more of a poetic experience. If you do not want to be a maiden fan, than i wouldn't suggest exploring them more lol.
Great reaction. I got older with Iron Maiden. They are still on tour and still very good.If you have not heard of Nightwish, I'd like to recommend the band to you. They play Symphonic Metal and have a female singer. If you like Bruce Dickinson's voice, i'm sure you'll love her voice. My suggestion is a live version of Ghost love score ua-cam.com/video/JYjIlHWBAVo/v-deo.html I bet you like it.
Cool you enjoy one of the best bands ever I am 34 and started listening to maiden when I was 11 Because of 3 reasons 1. They sound bad ass! 2. The album covers are the best. 3. Beavis and Butthead. I recommend any Maiden song. Let me suggest something new to your channel. Demons & Wizards - Love's Tragedy Asunder. I see a trend with youtube music reviewers they tend to review the same content due to the trend. Demons & Wizards - Love's Tragedy Asunder is a great song check it out.
If you like Ironmaiden and Metallica you got to react to Nightwish -everdream live at Wacken 2013. You will NOT get disapointed and you gonna want to see and hear more of them.Theyre magic Really enjoyed your reactions😊👍
biffie186 I agree, ghost love score is the best song by far in the wacken set list. But a song like everdream is better introduction to nightwish. Also storytime,Nemo and wish I had an angel is great introsongs for a person that never listened to them before.😊👍
"He's dust on the ground. What did we learn?" Their music is awesome but their lyrics definitely set them above the rest. Steve Harris is a genius with lyrics.
Iron Maiden - Infinite Dreams
Iron Maiden - wasted years
Iron Maiden - phantom of the opera
Infinite Dreams is criminally ignored. I get in arguments all the time because I think it is the best track on SSoaSS. Wasted Years is very well recognized by fans, but seems to get ignored when people list Maidens defining songs. This is a good list of deep tracks.
Joe Hogan Definitely my favourite from SSOASS. The whole album is pretty solid but Infinite Dreams and the title track are the best for me. Another 3 songs that I adore (and usually get ignored) are 22 Acacia Avenue, To Tame A Land and The Duellists.
I would say, Still Life, the Duelist, Infinite Dreams and Sea of Madness are criminally ignored.
Walamonga 1313 The Evil That Men Do is the best track on SSOASS
Caught somewhere in time by Iron Maiden has the best intro ,best vocal performance and kick ass futuristic guitar solos!
That whole album is the best thing Iron Maiden ever did
Iron Maiden ~ Powerslave
Up the irons! ⚔
Powerslave live 1985
Iron Maiden - 22 Acacia Avenue is another great song from this album. All song, right? RIGHT?!?!?!
Flight of icarus..iron maiden
Stranger in a Strange Land - Iron Maiden
The crowd at the beginning of the music video still gives me chills
Stranger in a Strange Land is a boring song

What a song.... Love that whole album..!! Nice. Love to see new people experiencing this awesome music.. Have a fantastic day..!!
The song is talking about the old black and white horror movie by the same name. The music itself is a half slow song and half fast song. It speeds up at the end, but the beginning of it is a slow ballad. "Roads to Madness" from Queensryche is similar to this. Starts slow and ends fast.
Try Iron Maiden " The Lonelyness of of the Long distance runner"
one of the most melodic heavey Metal song ever
Maiden has been my favorite band since the first time I listened to the killers album in 1982. They don't make bad music period. Steve Harris is a genius that should be appreciated for the great story teller that he is.
I've not listened to much of their music but this was brilliant...Love your choker beautiful bye the way 💜 ..

Sharisse, An Iron Maiden convert? Welcome to The Family.

Good times and the best pizza on the planet.

I would say the best song off of "The number of the Beast" album. You never hear this song in concert. Truly a diamond in the ruff.
I really enjoy your videos. You should listen Number of the Beast. 2 Minutes to Midnight or Trooper
Bombastic Best!!!
Up the Irons! From Italy with love! I suggest "Infinite dreams" from "Seventh son of a Seventh son"- Iron Maiden album! I'm sure you'll like it! :)
i love living in a detached house , maiden full blast
Iron Maiden Phantom of the Opera!
More Maiden and I’m Sub 4 life! (Maybe throw in some Cradle of Filth)
Check out Fear of the Dark (from Flight 666 dvd). Iron Maiden is best experienced live.
Iron maiden... ALEXANDER THE GREAT... absolutely epic maiden song
Iron Maiden, Seventh son of a Seventh son. is an epic song
It's an epic album. Probably my favorite.
How about THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST or even THE CLANSMAN for future videos?
Iron Maiden- Flight Of Icarus
Give Revelations by Iron Maiden a shot. Might be their most intense song.
HELLO ☺
GREAT SONG👌
"THE PRISONER" IS ANOTHER ONE OF THIS ALBUM
UP THE IRONS \m/😎
Strenge world, dale...!!!!

I recommend you listen to Iron Maiden: Wasted Years. It's an awesome song and I think you will thoroughly enjoy it.
If you like Ironmaiden and Metallica you got to react to Nightwish -everdream live at Wacken 2013.
You will NOT get disapointed and you gonna want to see and hear more of them.Theyre magic
Really enjoyed your reactions😊👍
Better do than ghost love score @Nicke
biffie186
I agree, ghost love score is the best song by far in the wacken set list. But a song like everdream is better introduction to nightwish.
Also storytime,Nemo and wish I had an angel is great introsongs for a person that never listened to them before.😊👍
Infinite dreams or Powerslave ! thanks !!!
Anything aside from Fear of the Dark is great!
IRON MAIDEN / "22 Acacia Ave" ... "it's about Charlotte the harlot & the red light district in England."
Iron maiden - the ghost of the navigator
Iron Maiden aces high
My favorite solo ever!
Pink ployd shine on you crazy diamond but include intro take you to other world x
Pretty much every song up to and including Seventh Song.

The Sign of The Cross. The original Blaze Bayley version. Please🤘🤘🤘
Wasting Love -Iron Maiden (official video version)
You definitely need to review "The Wicker Man", "2 Minutes To Midnight", "Man On The Edge", "Futureal", and "Wrathchild".
Please react to Nightwish Phantom of the Opera live
"He's dust on the ground. What did we learn?" Their music is awesome but their lyrics definitely set them above the rest. Steve Harris is a genius with lyrics.
This song is based on the film from 1964.
