Always Believe Aww, but I have a question! I usually my normal day-to-day makeup is very, uh, theatrical (?) looking (very bold Neon sharp eyeliner, glitter, Holo highlighter, etc), could that get me in trouble in Disney/Galaxy's Edge? well the land is a certain time period taking place technically right before the Rise of Skywalker movie. If they still exist they might bring those characters into the land. Everything could evolve eventually too.
I don't know if you read all the comments but thank you very very much. We were very lucky to have been invited to join some guests on the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. Two of the guys in the group did not want to dress up. This convinced them. They were able to wear something comfortable and still be on world. You have just gained three more flight crew. Love you guys! Keep the great videos coming.
Disney: *Sells cosplay items all over the park Disney: "BUT DON'T DRESS UP!" Disney: "ESPECIALLY DON'T WEAR THESE BOOTS" Disney: "Unless it's these OFFICIAL $200 shoes we sell in the shops..."
well, we aren't Disney. We are just fans who want to help You, and other fans get fun gear for your trip. We love the pozu boots, you don't have buy them, but they are one of the coolest bounding pieces you can get that are the closet to real boots from the movie. Makes playing in Batuu even more fun. :)
@@AlwaysBelieve Oh I know, I'm just commenting on the awkward limbo that creative Disney-bounders have to be in to get the most of their cosplay without getting in trouble. Even though Disney is constantly encouraging guests to buy would-be cosplay gear.
When we first found out full cosplay outfits were banned at Disney's parks we were disappointed. But think of it, now it's actually more fun. Now w have to use our own imagination and create our looks. First of all it's fun and more afordable. If we would've been allowed to cosplay we would've be running around as Bobba Fetts, Stormtroopers, Kylo Rens or Dart Vaders. It wouldn't have been the same. Now there is only one Kylo Ren, one Rey as it is in reality. Also the stormtroopers you see are the real ones. Thank Disney, you've thought this through. We fans have to apologize for all the ranting on social media. This is the way !
There you are! I've missed you two. Great video as always and some quality advice. The thrift store especially seems like the perfect place to pick up things you wouldn't normally see on the high street. Stay stylish!
Hey Tom! We have been here working hard to get this one finished! Didn't want to cut corners on this episode, since it is such a helpful one. Wanted to make sure we could put as much into our Guide for you. Hope you find some fun pieces!
I went in costume and while I didn’t get much interference from First Order troops or officers, the immersion I gave myself was so much more valuable, and it fit the character I had built. The character is kind of like a resistance pilot that has been given tasks away from the rest of the group and has gotten used to being alone and avoiding attention. (Maybe for too long...) His father was a Jedi during order 66 and grew up working for the rebellion and retired after the Battle of Endor, easing his son (me) who after his passing has sort of repeated the cycle, even picking up the saber to defend the other outer rim planets mostly dedicated to farming. The cast members were always good with keeping an in universe dialogue with me and it really felt like I’d be out of there in my X -Wing in 10 minutes tops, like this was just another pit stop, and that’s kinda how I viewed it all and what the cast members responded to from that point of view, it was super cool. Just being in costume in something like a leather jacket with resistance patches on it really helps, and the heat of California/Florida helps to get you in character. I was sweating a lot and often had to take breaks in the shade, removing it and eating a snack by the Ronto’s Roasters engine looking for potential threats are my favorite parts of the park, and I just liked being completely immersed in the world. I’ve heard people saying it’s too hot to wear jackets in the summer or at all, but for me, after the first 10 minutes you just go “Well, this is it” and you kinda just used to it, and it’s really not that bad. (I’m from Seattle, cold and wet, but hot and dry with leather I could handle, you can too) A benefit was also that around me I’d actually see people commenting on my outfit and wondering if I worked at the park or not, which to me at least was kind of a big compliment to my outfit if they thought I worked there. And taking breaks like I said before may allow others to ask about your outfit, and you can either respond in universe and help them build more immersion or answer in person and go in depth in where things were bought, and either way, it’s a great conversation every time, I’m not joking, I never had on bad conversation in costume. If you go in costume, I feel like you’re actually helping others’ immersion in the park. They see you and know you’re just a regular person in the universe passing through who’s only there to refuel and get a snack, and that’s what the location is supposed to be in universe, and it feels so cool to fit the bill. I hope this encourages others to get into the mind set and start to make a costume for the experience of a lifetime. It was for me, and my happy place is still by that Ronto’s engine. Miss it to death. Till the spire.
Fabrizzio Gasca You definitely should. Even a simple tan shirt and a pair of brown pants gives you the experience of a life time, and you really don’t need to spend that much. Hope this helps, and thanks for the comment!
I know it's a two year old video but seeing this in my recommendations, i have to share one of my favorite interactions I've ever had. It was back to back. I wore my khaki military jacket decked out with a bounty hunter guild flair and my holster with my saber and boots and goggles (thanks for the tip on them btw) and we were coming up one of the side exits of the marketplace where we saw a "resident" of Batuu that went by the name of Raine, shuffling a Sabaac deck on top of a trash can. The girls i was with and i asked what he was doing and him seeing our getup instantly asked if we were down for a few hands of Sabaac. That he'd show us how to play. We were interested. I bet my Batuuan Spira (when they were still available) and he told me i was lucky he only played for fun, cause i would've kissed that Spira goodbye haha. After a few hands i realized how shady we looked playing this game and then as if on cue, Stormtroopers held us up. People start recording and One of them asked for my identification and told them must've left it in other speeder. After they were done with their interrogation, i laughed and said "that's right move along" and Raine in a shock told me "hey man, i know you think you're some kind of hotshot, but in case you haven't noticed, they have blasters and you don't!" After they started walking away, we tried to continue our game and from the stairs behind us, all I hear is the softest British voice asking me, if the coast was clear. I turn around and Rey herself was right behind. I tried not to geek out and I told her "y-yeah, the bucket heads went towards the droid depot. If you cut a path through Dok Ondars, you should be safe. She gave me a pat on the shoulder and a wink, thanked me and told me if i ever needed training for that (pointing at my saber) to just call out to her using the force. She'll find me. Still get chills thinking about it. I love Galaxy's Edge so much.
This... This is what I needed in my life. Two people just loving Star Wars, being friendly and encouraging people to enjoy being a part of Batuu. Totally following this guide for when I got to WDW in 2021. Probably going to have a Jake Peralta moment when I make my character. Keep up the awesome work.
Yessssss you understand Gamer! Exactly what we hope to do. Spread the fun so you and the rest of the flight crew can see the magic easier for Galaxys Edge and all our trips.
Solid advice, guys. We were there for the public opening of Rise of the Resistance in Batuu East and went Batuu-bound. We were a smuggler team dressed as if we'd just stepped off of our ship. We got a lot of great interaction with Batuu natives. I had a fellow traveler asking me for advice - I had to point out to him that I was a visitor myself. We even had to fast-talk our way out of an interaction with more than a few Stormtroopers (she forgot about the X-wing pilot pin on her vest). It was the best time of our trip.
awesome, your experience is exactly proof of what we are sharing. Thank you for letting us know how much more fun you trip was as a result! Would love to see some pics. DM us on instagram @AshandBryan
We were pushing for that Mike! There was so much to edit and organize for this project, ontop of still going out to shoot new things for the Flight Crew! Well now you have some tips for next timeeeee. How was your trip??? Did you dress up at all? BTW Pozu has the BEST deals right now with the movie coming out. I bought my pairs when the last jedi dropped.
@@AlwaysBelieve I neeeeeeed those boots by Po and Zu. We didn't dress up this time, it rained alot, but next time there, definitely. I'll be in the Jedi gear from Black Spire Outpost, cloak and all! Last time there though was a blast, even in the rain. Oh, got "harassed" by a few Storm Troopers. They made me show them actual ID before they'd let me and my son go. Of course they didn't give him much of a hard time, he was wearing a T with their face on it. Next time and our fam loves you cast, thank you again!
I watched this video with my daughter. Awesome and inspiring. We got such a buzz from this, and it got even worse after have checked out your website and the links. Great products! So cool!
yesssssss i know Sarah!!! So many more members Joining our FLIGHT CREW with you. Happy you have been here having fun with us since the beginning. Thanks for saying congrats :)
HOLY COW!!! Thank you for answering a question I've been asking for a long time. I'm live in Fla and I'm 45 mins away from the parks. I've been a Star Wars fan since the movie opened in 77. Yup. I'm an original fan. I have a custom Jedi costume that I wore to Star Wars weekends and still wear to other events. You guys are doing exactly what I've wanted to do and I thank you. My plan is to go to the park and roleplay a Jedi replacing he lost equipment. I plan on buying a lightsaber, getting a holocron and so on. Until now I didn't know if I could. You guys just gave a lost Jedi hope. I know I can't wear my robe but I believe I can wear my short robe. I'm going to wear kaki pants instead of my Jedi style pants. If you can give me any other tips that would be awesome. Thank you for your videos. You now have a "Believer" in your ranks.
thanks for being inspired to roleplay your jedi character. Happy you are encouraged to go to the park now in dinsneybound. Again, it seems like most of the jedi costume is ok to get away with. Those we have seen in jedi gear have worn most of the costume, minus the knee high jedi boots. The Po-Zu resistance boots would be a good definite option to replace them with. Check our link here for those! po-zu.com/?rfsn=3283315.fd6f47c thanks for becoming a member of the Always Believe Flight Crew for more trips and fun!
Thanks for the feedback. I have a question. My boots are thigh high not knee high. Do you think those will work? The Luke boots from Po-Zu are sold out in my size so it's either sneakers or thigh highs I have. What do you think.
Thank you so much for this guide. My wife and I put outfits together for us and a costume for our four year old son and it was an amazing experience. Chewie shook my hand (I was a smuggler with a resistance patch) stormtroopers harassed my wife but my son in a luke skywalker outfit was king. Rey hugged him and told him he was her favorite. Kylo was afraid of him and the storm troopers told him the legends were true. Plus they gave us a complimentary fast pass to the Smugglers run ride. All in all the greatest day of vacation ever.
Exciting John, happy the whole family is ready to play! Send us your Bounds when you go to our instagram, so we can post for our Batuu Tuesday posts. @AshandBryan instagram

Thank you so much for this video. I recently found your videos and I love watching them. This is a great video on how to wear inspired clothing not just in the park but also in day to day. Thank you for these great ideas and keep up the great work!
Thanks so much for your suggestions! I went to Batuu East think weekend and had a great time doing bounding as an inspired Batuu resident. Cast members noticed my bound. I've been dreaming of this since I was 8 year old boy watching star wars for the first time... I hope that I will be able to go to galaxy's edge eventually it looks amazing
Ageed. I always say this on the Galaxy's Edge reddit: STAND OUT! I not only made two costumes and a datapad, I completely redesigned my Magic Band. I cut off the straps and kitbashed it into an ancient artifiact that acted as both a pin and necklace. It worked. I had cast members approach me and not the other way around. Rey even grabbed Chewie so she could show him my datapad and Magic Band. And like you guys, I had a couple lengthy conversations with Vi. And, "normal" cast members also loved my stuff and showed their fellow cast members.

hahahah yesssssss BOUND Away.
Keep the great videos coming.
they r so in love 🥺
abby we love that you are here to play with us! :)
Disney: *Sells cosplay items all over the park
Disney: "BUT DON'T DRESS UP!"
Disney: "ESPECIALLY DON'T WEAR THESE BOOTS"
Disney: "Unless it's these OFFICIAL $200 shoes we sell in the shops..."
well, we aren't Disney.
So does that mean we could wear clone trooper armor around the park?
This is literally Han and Q’ira together
I love how positive you both are at the beginning, it shows how even when you do become adults, you don’t have to “be boring” as some people say
Yes thats our message, always be playing, creating and believing! It never stops.
Always Believe tbh it’s really good to see you tubers who aren’t afraid to be who you want to be on this platform, also love your channel
At least Disney did one right thing. I don’t really like what they did with the trilogy but after reading this comment, I think they did this right.
The cast members were always good with keeping an in universe dialogue with me and it really felt like I’d be out of there in my
X -Wing in 10 minutes tops, like this was just another pit stop, and that’s kinda how I viewed it all and what the cast members responded to from that point of view, it was super cool.
(I’m from Seattle, cold and wet, but hot and dry with leather I could handle, you can too)
A benefit was also that around me I’d actually see people commenting on my outfit and wondering if I worked at the park or not, which to me at least was kind of a big compliment to my outfit if they thought I worked there.
This is a comment that really convinces me to dress up for the occasion
After they were done with their interrogation, i laughed and said "that's right move along" and Raine in a shock told me "hey man, i know you think you're some kind of hotshot, but in case you haven't noticed, they have blasters and you don't!"
After they started walking away, we tried to continue our game and from the stairs behind us, all I hear is the softest British voice asking me, if the coast was clear.
"Resume merriment." 😂 Love that stormtrooper
Dudes, we went at the end of Nov, would have loved to have had this then, thats ok we'll go back!
He looks like David Hasselhoff meets Harrison Ford
Give Bryan a BullWhip and a Bathing suit! DO IT! :)

Your positivity and love for Disney and Star Wars brings me so much joy! Can't wait for more adventures!!!
That Rey's bag from Loungefly looks so cool. wish I could have gotten one but no one sells it anymore. :(
I enjoy being a Jedi / Sith always fun
looking forward to doing the jedi look sometime soon too!! :) You rock it well james
@@AlwaysBelieve thank you :)
I’m so glad I found this channel, I love it!
yayyyyy Milah. We appreciate you coming to play.
Yay! Now I'm prepared for whenever I go!

yesssssss i know Sarah!!! So many more members Joining our FLIGHT CREW with you. Happy you have been here having fun with us since the beginning. Thanks for saying congrats :)
Do you have any ideas for anyone who wants to wear something Mandalorian inspired. Not just the character, Mandalorians in general
I literally love you two! Keep on being amazing!!!
thanks David!!!! Happy you are having fun playing with us around the galaxy.
You 2 are awesome! You are the droids I’m looking for!
Someone has to cosplay as an Dathomiria but with like a Hawaii shirt anf shorts with slippers that would be amazing
I don't know when I'm going to Galaxy's Edge, but I'm absolutely going to be ready for it! Thanks guys!
So any chance of getting away with full mandalorian armor there yet lol
Vince Vacca No chance. Too many safety regulations interfere with that. Sorry, but it’s not the way :/
That would be awesome but I guess not
Would love to go there in my full mando armor but. Nah
A lot of this applys to everyone above 14
yes, under 14 you have alot more freedom to dress up.
If your under 14 lucky you, savour it and wear a full robe
These are actually good tips, I'm starting to get ideas to make my own bounty hunter outfit
good thats the hope is to inspire your creation :)
Woah what an absolutely awesome duo you are! It's refreshing to see charismatic and upbeat starwars fans!
thank you for joining us, we always want to share as much fun as we can with you.
as always (believe), you two have made a damn good video! I have wondered for a long time about costume guides and what I can and can't wear. this video is everything I needed answered and more! there are several items I now look forward to purchasing to wear to Galaxy's Edge, ESPECIALLY those gorgeous PoZu boots!
thank you for the wonderful content!
Hey Robbie thanks for hanging out with us again!!! Happy this episode is helpful about styling your outfit. We really wanted to show how much more fun it is to Dress up when you go to Batuu. Use our link to PO-Zu when you get your boots, definitely helps us get better deals for YOU in the future. I just bought the FINN boots in black, since they are HALF off right now @t
I have been binge watching your channel for 2 days, and can’t get enough!! Your edits and presentation is amazing! Your positivity and the way you both work off of each other is just so much fun to watch! Thanks for all the videos.
I can’t wait to plan out my outfits for Galaxy’s Edge! I usually overthink it and pick an outfit, and then throughout the day I am really uncomfortable! But I’m definitely inspired by your outfits!
I had so much fun pulling my look together finding all items from my closet.
And, I made Boarding Group 17 on Rise, too.
To the spire!
Great site! I visited Galaxy's Edge in California for the first time about a year ago, and yes, I wanted to move in. I was able to build a lightsaber and just geek out on Star Wars. I'm an older fan; I was a Senior in High School when the original Star Wars was released. I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to more of your awesome videos.
being quite cheap here ;) this is what i suggest:
- you can tape / glue the captain rank symbols on ur shirt / jacket!
-layer light clothing for the scavenger look!
- extra buttons / chains on the outfit has that scavenger look!
I love what y’all are about dude
thanks for having fun with us!
Another great video, guys! Very informative and inspiring, I can’t wait to start adding pieces to my GE outfits!
woo yea dude. Us too! There are so many cool new ones we found for our Collection, which is why we wanted to share with you. Still really need to build a fully unique character.
I'm so thankful you guys made this video, something I've been trying to figure out is what I would wear to galaxy's edge. I knew if I wore normal clothes it wouldn't feel right, and this really helped! I'm definitely gonna try to get that rebel/resistance look so I draw the attention of the stormtroopers. *Always believe!*
awesome Silver!!! Thanks for letting us know this really helped you. Making an outfit is so 2nd nature to us now, we forget other FLIGHT CREW members don't always consider it as an option. Dressing up is definitely more fun for us. Check out the Store Style Guide, and you can get the Pozu Boots through our link too! Great deals right now with the film coming out too.
ALWAYS BELIEVE !!!!! love that you used that. Its our " May the Force Be with you"
I've been looking for a video like this! I want my family and I to be this amped up when we visit in Feb. Thanks so much guys.
this is why I still watch u guys u are so fun
Thank you Nearly Irish! This was a fun episode to share the magic with everyone for Batuu. We try to make every episode this fun, and most are!
I'm a big Star Wars fan who was looking through vids for planning my upcoming galaxies edge trip. I always thought dressing up for theme parks was only for eccentric theater kids but you guys convinced me to browse your style guide and buy a batuu themed outfit.
Thanks for clearing up a lot of my questions in regards to costume attire at the park!
Great video and keep up the good work. Can't wait for my trip to Galaxies Edge! :D
So glad to see you guy posting up. What a unique video and content. Had a long day and needed this video to put a smile on my face. Thanks!
Awesome jon, happy to know we helped bring some smiles for you. Thats what is great about playing and having fun.
Always Believe, I just saw your video a few days ago and I already got three outfits set up for my next trip to Galaxy's Edge! I'm super excited to try them!!
Just subscribed recently! This was the first video I watched of you guys, and thanks to you I decided to start saving up for my own Han Solo Cosplay! I love the content you guys deliver! And also the way you guys look at live, very inspirational! Keep it up.
Disney bounding sounds like a fun idea in theory, but I think it only applies to you So Cal residents. The rest of us are on Disney survival mode. camera bags, water bottles, and strollers full of souvenirs. 😆
with kids, yes its more tricky, but its very possible still.
Man I LOVE your videos. I’m going to galaxy’s edge in may and I’m getting my first Anakin lightsaber from ultra sabers tomorrow! You guys really did help me out with so much. Always dreaming and Keep believing! You guys rock
thanks Ethan!!! Thank you for letting us know. Happy you are going to have fun on Batuu soon :) And getting a lightsaber is super exciting, just watching practicing inside your house / apt lol. Always Believe to you too !
Just realized I hadn't subscribed so just did. You guys are fun! Keep it up!
YAHOOO Zewise, now you are a part of the FLIGHT CREW! We always have more room for our new CREW members. Cant run the Always Believe without you.
This was the first always believe video I saw and I love revisiting it
thank you BroMan! We still love this one, and cant wait to go back to Batuu to dress up again.
Great video that answered a lot of my questions! Thank you!
awesome Frankie. Thanks for letting us know the guide helps. Check our our Collection to see a bunch of fun pieces, most of them are available on amazon too. Pozu has great deals right now too with the new Film dropping. Now is the time to jump on those if interested. We might get another pair.
Love you guys so much.... takes me back to my visit in November to. Galaxy edge every video you release! Keep um coming guys!
These guys are wholesome.
I've been dreaming of this since I was 8 year old boy watching star wars for the first time... I hope that I will be able to go to galaxy's edge eventually it looks amazing
I’m going again this Sunday with my brother and dad :D
Seeing you guys have so much fun is making me wanna go even more
its alot of fun, and will be back soon!
Thanks for the vid....I couldn't agree more, going to a comic con, cosplay....going to a ren fair, wear a medieval costume...have fun....play!
I'm also currently customizing my Savi saber even more. I new paint job, weathering, new accessories, etc. I want to make it truly my own.
@@TheVas76 amazing!!! You are well on your way, and have done even more than we have yet. We want do do all the things you just mentioned still. A lot of adventures ahead still. Hope our Guide helps with you the Costume parts!
I really wanna do this! I’m going to Star Wars land pretty soon! I’m on the heavy-er side so I’m hoping I can look around and find things that fit and look stylish
Check out Her Universe has some really kool stuff in all sizes
Thank you for making this video. I am so thankful that I’m not the only one who dresses up for Star Wars land. You have not only earned a like but a subscriber.
I like this video, great advice. When I go back to Disneyland I’m going to give Star Wars bounding a try.
So happy this was released thank you two!!! I was kinda meh on dressing up for galaxy's edge but man do I want to now. More route for empire/first order but still looks so much fun. Everything is on my wishlist and hopefully try for my birthday or after. Great video and breakdown!! Thank you!!
omg this video has helped me get more ideas when i do the galatic starcruiser thank you
Been doing a binge rewatch of all your videos before my trip to galaxys edge in April. You guys are magic. Your videos are so fun and informative and just warms me up inside. And THIS video is going to help me look fresh to death(star) for my trip coming up. Thank you SO much for being unapologetically you and sharing your passions with us! P. S. Can't wait for the Halloween season this year🎃

i have only watched the first 10 seconds of this video and i'm already subscribed
Thank you for the links- keep posting more finds for outfits
First time finding you guys and of course it is your costume video. I absolutely loved it. I have been a SW fan since I was around 4 I think (thanks parents 😁) and also love Disney and going to the parks. I love that we get to dress like our own character to have our own story of "Star Wars". I just have the best time walking around and just being there. Thank you for all of your tips about how to pick fun pieces to put together. I also love your enthusiasm, positivity and admiration for this land and everything about Star Wars. I can't wait to go back to Batuu.
:) happy to see another post from you two
us too Kallen. This one took a lot of work, and a lot of weekends. Hope we help you with your fun new Batuu look!
I wish I could be as happy as you guys. I’m kinda jealous that you are having so much fun.
We are happy you are here with us to feel the fun. It takes time to let it out and enjoy everything as much as we try to. Both of us try to actively have fun everyday , but its not always easy. We created Always Believe and our message to help everyone who needs to remember and feel that fun. We hope that when you come to play with us, you will have a smile on your face, and you can forget everything else going on in your life for a while. This is the same reason we love to visit Disney and share that experience with you. Thanks for coming to play :)
Planning a Disney trip in a couple of months, gonna do a Ben solo type cosplay, long sleeves, vest, Han Solo dice necklace, hip holster etc.
Thanks for the inspiration! I plan to dress up in a Kylo Ren styled outfit and wear all black, but I feel nervous dressing up because I never done it before!😅 You guys are so cool with the fashion!❤
This really helps because I’m going to go to Disney again around March and I really wanted to do my own Star Wars thing so this helps thank you so much for the ideas

ahhhhh you will be a spy then????
