It is a good all inclusive hotel, the service is excellent as is the food. However is does get very busy and rowdy during the summer months, with an endless stream of weddings and some people just can't help themselves with alcohol available. The beaches in the Paphos area are fairly poor and rocky. A better bet would be the Amavi owned by the same company as the OL if you want to stay in Pafos.
Thanks so much Michael, interesting perspective. We had the feeling the place was quiet on our winter break, and the temperature was ideal for us and much better than back home. As you say, the food & service was excellent.
Natalia, Just picked this up from a quick search; 'The average high in Paphos is 19ºC in December, which is warm enough to relax on the beach or by the pool. Things can get quite chilly in the evenings though as it can cool to 10ºC. The sea temperature's 19ºC, while humidity's low.' So it depends what it's like back home, but I think 19, and a bit of sun would be just perfect for us. If you make it there, we hope you have a great time. Gary & Janis
Hi, it should be beautiful that time of year, down from the dizzy heat of the summer. It's probably mid to late 20's centigrade, or 80's in Fahrenheit. We're just a little bit jealous, We hope you have a stunning time. Gary & Janis
Hi Lainie, it was about 20-22 degrees centigrade ( 68-72 Fahrenheit) during the day and a few degrees cooler in the evening, but never cold. Hope that helps, Gary & Janis
Jamie, There's lots of bays like this with differing amounts of sand - as we walked up the coastline there were plenty - perhaps checkout our video Exploring Paphos - 🔗 ua-cam.com/video/kYVK8PYPSP0/v-deo.html and checkout the Coastline walk for a few more views. Are you planning on heading there?
Jamie, we were there in Feb' - Warm outside, T-shirt & shorts 17-21 and a little cold for Joe average to swim in Med'. However, mid May, you should be 25, so probably warm enough to swim in. If you get there have a great time 🍻
There right now, love it!
Fantastic, enjoy the Olympic, enjoy the sun, enjoy Cyprus.
Have a good one,
Gary & Janis
