Just got to watching this vlog, and I was sweating for you guys. Sometimes, it's all fun and smiles but there's that 1 vlog that turned dark in an instant. I love that y'all enjoy life and the challenges it brings.
I'm so happy you guys are safe. Stay life and i love your quote: "I'm not afraid of death, i'm afraid of NOT living life to the fullest", that hit me hard, i'm also a cancer survivor (of 4 years now) and somehow it took a lot from me. Thank you for the quote, i will definitely reflect on where I want to myself in the next 5-10 years.

Watched it like 3 to 4 times already. That I don't fear death, but I fear not to live fully really got into me. Trying to find happiness in this time is not easy. Thanks for reminding me how to live. Appreciate life even in midst of this crisis. With all that's happening around the world now. This really helps. Brought back smile even for just few minutes. Thanks Wil. *usually the doctors and nurses are the one who supposed to be swabbing you guys not the other way around. swab applicator not properly inserted deep enough in the nasal cavity can cause false test result. its either the dcotor is lazy or thats just how USA works down there. very strange. im a nurse in canada and we are not allowed to nasal swab ourselves we have other nurses who does that for us. now i know why USA is rank up there when it comes to covid cases!*

They are not allowed to do it or touch the swab daw but they gave us clear instructions on how to do it, it was a long and tedious process which was mostly edited out so that you didn’t have to watch the entire thing but I’m confident we did it right ;)

@@Wil_Dasovich *technically you're only allowed to touch just the end part of the swab applicator with gloves on. the applicator is sterile reason why its kept in a plastic wrap. they shove that applicator deep inside your nasal cavity until resistant is felt. spins the applicator around for 20 secs but feels like eternity and stores it in a small container to incubate. one more thing the applicator is only inserted in one nostril not two. Its a big no no to take it out and put it back again. you will contaminate the applicator and will cause another false reading. we just recovered from covid outbreak where i work thats why they are very strict when it comes to testing. Ive been tested several times already and its not fun at all. anyways just my two scents. not bashing u Wil, its more of just want to make sure you guys are safe. thanks for the vlog and keep up the good work!*
@@YourTechGuide. Bill Gates, in one of his interviews, said that they (I'm assuming it's the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) made a study where they tested the effectiveness of this technique. It showed at least 99% similar results to the ones done by health care professionals. This is obviously a better protocol since it minimizes the exposure of the health care professional while achieving essentially the same results. I'll try to pull up the source if I can find it.

Pilipinas, look at the resorts and beaches in the US and other countries. They're clean, they're not crowded, and most of all, they don't over charge. Kahit ordinary lang income mo, you can see these places. Diyan, yung mayaman o may pera lang ang maka afford sa mga balesin, amanpulo, boracay o Palawan niyo. You don't have the best beaches in the world. Huwag namang masyadong mahal ang presyo niyo so it's affordable to most.
I share the same sentiments with you BEFORE I started my own small business. The high cost of EVERYTHING plus the labor really is the reason why. As much as I want to make things cheaper to make it affordable, the quality suffers. Even in just making a plain embotido or leche flan, if you aim to produce less expensive products, the quality becomes CHEAP too.

The incubation period is 14 days. If you test negative after 5 days, you could still become positive after that, putting others at risk while you think you are safe, since getting a negative result.
