Great review, very thorough! I'm on the brink of buying. In my currency, it's around $350 but still more affordable than other a.i pets going for 1k-3k. I'm not allowed pets at my rental, and so I'm looking seriously at robot pet. I did a quick recon of other a.i pets. There's dogs that look scary, like the robot dogs the police and military will deploy. No way would I buy something like that. Then there's cutesy dogs that can move around, but I don't think they talk. The other pets are out of my budget, like Loona and Eibo. This one though...having a furry texture skin is important, bc you don't want to be stroking chrome or metal. The big expressive eyes are based on nature, which encourages you to interact, care for and protect an infant, and then there's the learning system. So yes, I think I have convinced myself to invest!

I checked out your Kickstarter page. Not a single word about information security. Do you have a security concept? What is your data privacy and data protection policies and plans? Does it send images or audio over the internet? If so, what is it used for? Is it encrypted? If there a physical way to block or disconnect the camera? This is a data protection and privacy invasion nightmare, if people put this in their kids room or bed room.

What are "interactive points data"? I assume the interaction includes gestures captured with the camera and voice captured by the microphone.

so much tech and at the end...its not better than a basic furby....atleast the furby dont need a app and will live forever standalone. i stay with my ai rabbit r1 helper,more compact to travel and scan stuff to ask it about.

Can the Ropet be connected to two phones?
For the time being, only one mobile phone can be connected to multiple ropets, but multiple mobile phones cannot be connected to one ropet.
Does it require Wi-Fi to use all the features, or can it work offline too? Can I turn off the camera when I'm not using it? Thanks!
