My first thought was faux birch logs! They are so expensive in stores and yours look so authentic. The trees are awesome. You have a wonderful talent and it's no wonder you do the decorating at your workplace.

Love this idea would look fabulous set up on the hearth or on the side table in the dining table. Have to go look for some trees. My local dollar tree doesn't have them right now.

Very nice! This is my first time watching one of your videos and I have to admit you lost me in the beginning and had to watch this a couple times. Not sure what all the unraveling of trees was all about and I didn't know DT had large and small trees. At least my local stores don't.

I just found you last night and after half of the vid I was subscribing. This actually helped me tremendously. I’ve been dying to do a Christmas tree forest in different containers but I’ve never figured how to scale it down to a workable size for inside my living room and thanks to you now I can! And for WAY WAY less than I’d intended to spend. But I’m also dying to know if the reindeer was a diy or a purchase. If purchased would you mind sharing where you got it, but if diy would you consider a tutorial?

@@Marie-D. They are pricy I live in Atlanta and Birch trees don't grow here. I had my father-in-law bring me a dozen cut logs from Wisconsin. Haha

Diy pool noodles in a similar way to make stacks of logs :) they are super durable and thick
