Thanks for a useful video of showing the access to a spark plugs, will help a lot in the future. Also heard from more experienced comrades that is a good idea to check electrode gap on spark plugs, especially if you're going to leave the old ones. For F650GS gap should be between 0.8-0.9mm, and "manual" adjusting this gap helped me once on my previous bike, which had some starting issues. As for a voltage of battery: even the service manual said only that the voltage shouldn't below 7V, and there's nothing about particular value, so idk really.
Thank you for the posetiv feedback! For sure, checking the gap is a good idea. And in and in a pinch were you dont have a new one you can "manually" correct it as you say. 7 volts is waaay to low for a 12v battery. below 12v when not running indicates a problem, and if it goes under 9v a 12v battery is usually beyond salvage. In witch manual did it say not below 7 volts? can't find it in mine.
@@EngineerFsThingsUp-sp4yt sounds also very odd to me, but for some reason there's what was written in official service manual (4th edition, 05-2009): " Note If the battery charger indicates that on-board voltage has dropped to the lower voltage limit for the on-board system, you can recharge the battery only by connecting the charger directly to the battery terminals. The on-board socket is switched off if the voltage is below this lower voltage limit. Undervoltage in on-board system ≤7 V Charge the battery with the BMW Motorrad battery charger, taking care to comply with the instructions for use." You can find this manual as ISO-image
