I must say the scenery looks great, but am sure on the west coast you will experience some wild weather from the North sea, So I would be changing those timber wall for stone walls as you get much better insulation in the cold winters and a great deal less attention than wood for many years to come and even generations. I had a wooden house in N. Zealand when I lived there and put forward plans to build a new stone house which was duly past, but things went a rye so it never got done.
Most UA-camrs have a sponsor or two, *Some sponsors for the UA-cam channel Farming Partners, which features Norwegian male farmers, include: Crystalyx, Animax, and Tracesure* I like what you're trying to do, can't wait to see the barn raised once again! Please make sure that Closed captions are on ;)
Just a suggestion, to ease the move from time to time regarding your chicken coop, mount two side runners to bottom of side walls, fasten two 4x4 by X , your length of wall or at least 2x4s cutting the front end on each, 45 degrees to ease both runners moving forward over grass. The front and back ends can be plugged after (not fastened), with same material once in place in new location if need be. The runners would also add strength to each wall at the base of 2 x 2s. Just saying. But like your videos good job from Canada.
When my dad and I were learning or re learning shearing he said never to pull up on the wool when your cutting as steps skin is quite thin and stretchy and it’s easy to shear a wrinkle of skin right off. Great work sticking with all the hard work and seeing it through!
Your property could really benefit from a FORRESTRY MULCHER MACHINE... it would clean up entire boundary and give back nutrients as cuttings decompose. Then run your livestock throughout your land. I'd suggest goats then hogs, to have a symbiotic grazing system in place. Your family will have the most amazing opportunities here. What a truly gorgeous property 🎉
Your shearing equipment needs to be sharpened. You have a double haired breed. The shears should cut smoothly, and your results are choppie, which indecates...equipment. sheep respond better in a flipped position for shearing. Try to locate a professional to do a deep shear off. Your property would support a actual shearing building. The fleece can be turned into do many things to bennifit your family. I hear bells, what is your natural predator in your region? I admire the calm relationship your family has with your stock. Harmony is excellent
You are probably right but I thing it is also a lack of experience. Right now we have so few sheep that each year it like we have to learn it again. 🐏😊
You need a 4 wheeled dumping wheelbarrow. I think it would make your life so much easier. My great grandmother is from Norway, I really enjoy your videos.
For øvrig fint å se at dere fikk brukt for "kompostjorda" :)
sharing the sheep, I am surprised you didn't look at videos to learn how to do it properly, Its seems you don't use the wool that you cut througt, its a shame, but also, the wool seems to grow very long in a year, and to be felted on the body of the sheep? I collect wool to spin it myself and I know certain sheeps must be share twice e year, from south west France.
Our sheep produce a substance that melts the fibers together as they are supposed to shed their wood. It makes them difficult to shear an makes the wool almost impossible to spin🐏 We have contacted several spinner an non had machines that coul taken wool from our breed. We use it as mulch around our vegetables👍🤠
Thank you so much for another great video! :D Is it possible to donate every now and then instead of a monthly membership? It would be great if you have a Vipps-number where people can donate money?

This brings back a lot of memories, great job keep up the hard work. From northern Manitoba Canada
Glad you enjoyed it🤠👍
Man that paint job was really satisfying to watch! Great job, looks great!
It insane how much a good paint job does to the house.
Thanks, it was not that satisfying to do the job but I love the result. That wall has been a thorn in my side for some time now. 🤠👍

If you could put your chicken coop on sleds it would move around easier.
Keep up the good work. Its taking shape!
Thanks! 😊👍

Great idea 😊👍Thanks for the advice 👍
In the UK we use a pill gun, you might want to look at this and should be available on the net or at your local animal feed store .
Thanks for the tip. I will look in to that. 👍😊
Enjoy watching the house renovation and building renovation best content so far.

Very difficult work that you have done.
Where I come from you need to use a primer if you want your paint to adhere
Great video 😂
Бедные козы как они страдают от твоей стрижки 😊
Did you get the ram back? I know what it is like we have 3 sheep who no matter witch field we put them in they get out 💚🤪😬😥
Hi 🙂
Skids on the chicken coop make it easier for you and you can use the tractor too pull it.
And better without the music its only annoying.
Do you do anything with that sheeps' wool, or are the sheep just for eating or only pets?
PUT THE PILL IN A PIECE OF FOOD THAT YOU KNOW HE CANT RESIST AND TA DA ITS OVER WITH HE HAS EATEN IT WITH NO FIGHTING HIM.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
When you say you lost your prized ram, did he just disappear? Is he dead? A big shame but that's life...
Brukte du visir grunning på bart treverk, slik at det ikke flasser så lett?
