Well unfortunately we had a number of people question our decision to visit Albania before we went. A portion of them are European as well. We didn’t create the preconceived notions people have but we are happy to do our part to change those notions. We hope this video helps because we loved it there and absolutely felt safe.
You felt safer in Albania than in United States? We dont kill people for sure , our problem is the corruption and burocraci in governent ! You dont see that as visitor unless you live and have the need to use schools , hospitals or police stations !
We most certainly felt safer. Others may feel differently and they may have their reasons. We will leave it at that because getting into the why, would be turning this into a political conversation that is best left out of social media. We hope you understand. Thanks for watching!
@@Travelingtwo I do understand but for females as an albanian myself I recommend they are companied ! I never traveled alone in there until I came to US and took bus or train by myself !
Often times people feel safe until something happens to them, then suddenly they don’t feel the same. Sometimes having good situational awareness is enough to feel safe. We try to maintain a high level of awareness. We can’t advise single women to travel there or not but we can say WE felt totally safe and the people there were very friendly towards us. Again, thanks for watching. If you would like to post specific information about why it wouldn’t be safe for a single female, feel free to do so. It is always our viewers job to decide what is right for them. All we can do is present what we experienced.
@@freeatlast3752well you might have had your rasons for not taking a bus or train in albania ever, but certanly it is lot more safier than in US especially for girls so if i were you i would be more carefull there where you are now
The average citizen of Tirana is fairly wealthy, no one has crazy high debts like in the US and most people own at least 1 or 2 apartments or houses outright so you won’t have to worry about your wallets unless maybe from a gypsy 😂
@@TravelingtwoI know I was referring to the comment made in the park that Albania would possibly be a dangerous country but aside from the traffic there’s nothing dangerous going on in the country. It’s ranked 40th on the global peace index, one place above South Korea just for reference.
Thanks for visiting us! We would like to see you guys again the next year! ❤😊
Next year may be too soon but you never know. If we do, I will send a message to let you know.
@@TravelingtwoHaha, that's why I said "would like" because it's all your decission. And no reason to let me know 😂

We are safe, of course, but it could be even better as a country of 32 years of democracy... however, Albania is developing in its form
Seemed to us Albania is doing great after just 32 years. Thanks for watching!
Tirana is 100% the safest city and is most modern city
We felt totally safe regardless of what street we walked down. While we were there we were already talking about one day returning.
Tirana is one of the most safe places in EU .
We felt we had to let people know it.

So, Was it safe?
