I visited Saint Peterberg and Moscow in 2018 with my Sister as well as Brother from NYS. We had a WONDERFUL TIME!!! The food is delicious and Russian People were very kind to us. I would go back again!!!!

As a Russian loving nature I would recommend to chose Golden Ring , St.Petersburg parks and Baikal lake from that list. There are more interesting places : visit National Park in Kislovodsk and take many excursions to Caucasus mountains near by , including Mt. Elbrus , famous waterfalls and mineral water springs , take saunas there too and recovery. Than you should visit Urals in Bashkiria and Kamchatka Vulcans. That’s how to treat Russia )

i would remove Vladivostok as its very unpleasant to stay there and add Derbent - probably the oldest town in Russia (appr. 2000 y.o.) in southern Dagestan, ancient city on sea. By the look at this city tourist would probably realize how diverse Russia is. Also maybe Pskov or Vyborg instead. There are a lot of nature landmarks that werent mentioned but it just would take too much time to list them. you may just google. Russia is really great for adventurers and nature lovers.

Hello, I recommend you to visit Yaroslavl and ride the Golden ring of Russia. I think you'll like it)
I think you have to visit VDNKH, Izmailovo Kremlin, Gorky park (and Museon park across the road), of course Red Square and Zaryadye park behind St. Basil Cathedral, Poklonnaya Hill, and may be Podvodnaya Lodka Museum.
I would suggest you increase your stay and visit st Petersburg and lake baikal. Russia is simply different and very beautiful. We were there last spring and 11 days were very short time to explore the country.

Well Baikal is the most famous one :) Ladoga and Onega in the Karelia are huge as well, overall Karelia is filled with lakes - check this one, my trip in Jan 2020 - it's Pyaozero in Karelia one of many in this area - but amazing, secluded @OHhM
I saw a nature show, I think on National Geographic of Siberia and it was amazingly beautiful! So much, sadly, most of us never get to see in person.

We just came back from St. Petersburg and Moscow. Beautiful! Full of great buildings and museums. People are friendly and helpful. New Russian cuisine is fantastic.
There is only one thing I wonder if I am right. The gold colour they painted for renovation of the palaces are too bright and do not look good. I think there might be better shade of gold colour.
It is a bit like renovations of a lot of Chinese palaces and temples in China. They just used bright colours to paint over them and they do not look harmonious. I believe the colours of the old times are not like this. They were more harmonious and delicate.
