Thanks! It's a really great module, and because I'm somewhat obsessed w/ delay and reverb, it adds well to my collection of Mimophon, Monsoon, Typhoon, and the eventaul CDN. Plus it really caused me to think of delay in a different way. Keep in mind I didn't even play with the loop and sample features yet (which in and of itself are completely different dimensions!).
HAHAHAHAHA -- To be sure, I kind of went a bit overboard cause I wanted to try having two "tape decks" (and wound up parting with the one for a Verbos Multi-Tap delay... again). ALTHOUGH, I would point out that they weren't set up exactly the same: One had the transport dipswitched and the other and the delay dipswitched... so you know, variety X^D
I have grown to love it a lot! Its a curious piece and it does what it does, well! Its a bit odd at times, and Im still a bit fuzzy on the sample and loop functions, mainly cause I dont use them enough....
I could be! It's been a while since I did a "this is what this does" vid! I don't play with the deeper functions of this particular one much as I'm more interested in it as a delay / reverb module, however I'm always happy to fuddle around with a request! I'll see what I can come up with!
Ask and ye shall receive! I have a part 2 uploading right now as we speak! It's a little under a half hour, and so it should be up within the hour! Thanks for the request, I hope it's helpful!
@@boedye My dude! That's so nice - also love my Magneto, I just like to see how other people use it for inspiration to my patches and you have a nice way of explaining your thoughts. Take care maaeesstroooo! :D
Thanks for posting this. I’ve been thinking about one of these and this helped me wrap my head around the functionality.

which one do you prefer - the Strymon Magneto, or the Strymon Magneto?

Nice video, thanks for posting!
Thank you for taking the time to watch!
Been looking into this one.. liking it so far. You still use it? How do you find it after having it for this long?

I'd watch a part II, if you were so inclined 🙃

I found it very hard to understand what you were saying due to the reverb/echo effect you are using on your microphone.
That is peculiar; I am not using any reverb or delay on my mic!
Perhaps you had two instances of this video open playing at almost the same time?
hopefully the audio from the pc is not going through the magneto ..
4 years later, I still dont hear any reverb or delay on this vid!
