    Just got a 4 seater Turbo R. This things is a beast and it is fast considering how heavy it is. Limber as well even for as long as it is. It blows the doors off of my 2015 xp4 1000. I LOVE THIS MACHINE!!

    For the heat buy Wolfsnout kit.

    Subjection for the intercooler system, make it a separated system non shared with the engine cooling system. A separated reservoir will do the trick.

    • @brodyolson6
      @brodyolson6 2 роки тому

      The LCAC does run on a separate circuit, independent from the engine coolant. However, it does still use standard Polaris engine coolant, just runs cooler than the engine circuit does.

    • @LONEWOLF630
      @LONEWOLF630 2 роки тому

      @@brodyolson6
      It is a separate system that share the same reservoir with the engine meaning sharing the same hot coolant from a much hotter engine meaning the turbo front radiator being hotter than it should meaning inefficient cooling not exactly constant since the hotter engine coolant will index dominates the final efficiency of the turbo cooling.

    I have the 2021 Polaris Rzr Pro XP4 the question I have is there something to reduce the heat in the cab area? But enjoyed the video

      Remove the catalytic converter in the muffler, it reduces back pressure and eliminates heat in the cab.

    • @twotonebrute
      @twotonebrute 2 роки тому +1

      The biggest cause of heat build up in the pro xp is a front windshield. If you have a solid front windshield you will have a lot of heat and dust will be sucked into the cab. I had a solid glass windshield and that was my problem. I now have the Polaris flip up windshield installed and get heat when it's closed and dust from the trails. Less when it's in the vented position and almost none when it's wide open. The more airflow through the windshield area the less heat build up and dust you will have in the cab.

    I have a 2022 Pro XP 2seater, and I've got 700 miles on it and it's burning a lot of oil on cold starts after it sits a week or so...I'm betting the turbo seal is bad. 98% of my riding is in TN just rock and trails at under 10mph... I'll have to check the intake for oil. I haven't had a chance to tear it down..

    We have two of the 2022 razor pro xp4 was wondering on both of them why we have so much clutch slippage after 30 to 50 mph and is there a fix for this from Polaris

    • @twotonebrute
      @twotonebrute 2 роки тому +4

      I have a 2021 Pro XP4. Remove the clutch cover and look for two things. First is the primary and secondary clutch sheaves aligned properly? Take a pic of the belt sitting in the primary and see if it is centered and not touching the sheaves. If it is touching either side then the secondary sheaves need to have shims added or removed to center the belt on the primary sheave. Make sure the belt isn't spinning with the engine on and the trans in neutral. The secondary shouldn't be spinning at all. Second. Is the face of the Sheaves on the primary or secondary dark gray or black? It should be light silver. If it isn't there is a coating on the sheaves that needs to be removed. Polaris knows this coating which is an anti corrosion coating makes the belt slip. You can scuff them by hand with a scotch bright pad or tell your dealer you want it taken care of under warranty. There is a TSP on the 2021 models. There may be one in the 2022 models as well. This solved my belt slipping.

    Now if they would only separate the cooling system. I did a split tank on mine and was the best thing I've done. No more hot ass

    Owner of a 22' pro xp. I've only got about 250 miles on my machine so why does it sound like I have loose nuts and bolts every time I hit a pot hole? Love the machine but I am very disappointed in all the rattles. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Interesting that Polaris coming out with these types of videos now. Reminds me of Robby Gordons Speed UTV videos. I wonder if they got the idea from Speed?

    Could I put this turbo system on my xp trubo 1000 motor? The crap trubo system on it gets so hot it glows red when driving. I like the idea of finally having coolant running through it now

    Polaris always settles at the most odd powers levels. 168 and 181 why not do what can am does and set them to 170 and 200? Simple tuning can do that easily.

  • @crazymonkey2308

    Air to air is way better, ambient temperature is never as hot as coolant temp so the air to air will always be cooler air. Not to mention an air to water cooler failure could take the motor with it.
