There are so many vocalists with amazing ranges but only a few I find have the tone that makes the hair on my arms stand up. Ryan's voice does that to me. When he hit that note on Apologize/Stay with me at Pinkpop it was literally "music to my ears" - lol.
I know right. For me, Ryan has always been a songwriter first, but it's clear that he's been training his voice for years. He has one of the most unique voices in the music industry today. To me that Bb4 was his money note. It was powerful, resonant, and effortless.
He is so very very talented a gift from God. A beautiful singing voice. Like a red rose in an ocean, like the sun in the night, and we know we have heard his voice because we have heard his songs. He is awesome
@@martianhowl Yes! I love your comment! If I had any facial hair lol, it would all stand up, too! I've never heard such a vocal range in my life! And so powerful to boot!
FINALLY SOMEONE / SOMEBODY SHOWCASE THE GREATNESS OF RYAN TEDDER'S VOCALS!!!!!!!!!!! I love your vocal showcase of Ryan Tedder's voice and your amazingly well crafted video editing skills!!! I look forward to seeing more of your vocal showcasings from highly underrated artists instead of always seeing vocal showcasings (from: Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Christina Grimmie, and hardly anyone else.) 😒
The moment I watched so many live performances of OneRepublic, the more I appreciated Ryan's vocals! His vocals are average in the studio, but it's during live performances where his vocals truly shine. He has a ridiculously high vocal range (I really believe he can go even higher than C#6), can execute vocal runs, has a natural grunt similar to Beyonce's voice, as well as having great support on the higher registers despite him having asthma. Who are other underrated artists you can think of?
+Underrated Singers' Vocal Range I, also believe he could go higher in head voice and wouldn't be surprised if he had a whistle register. And there are so many underrated artists, but I'll just list a few favorites... Colbie Caillat, India.Arie, Tracy Chapman, Robyn, Kelis, Paula DeAnda, Amber Riley, Jordin Sparks, Blake Lewis, Chris Richardson, Jessica Sanchez, Phillip Phillips, Jack White, Neon Hitch, Natasha Bedingfield, Daniel Bedingfield, Daniel Merriweather, Dwele, Marsha Ambrosius, and so many others, but the list is already long enough. LOL.
"I also believe he could go higher in head voice and wouldn't be surprised if he had a whistle register" he did once say in an interview that his voice just "does this thing that it goes higher and higher". because of this, I assumed that his range may be more than 4 octaves! Also, I will try my best to make vocal range showcases for some of the singers you mentioned. :)
Ryan's voice gives me shivers and brings tears in my eyes! He gives me so much emotion that no one can. I love him so much! His vocal range is much more amazing because he can hit high notes live. Not many singers can do this! It is a shame that Ryan's vocal is underrated!
Underrated singer's vocals- Thank you so much for showing the capabilities of Ryan Tedder's Vocal range and do agree that he is even better when singing Live and this is whilst he never stop's jumping , dancing and running from one end of the stage to the other. He basically doesn't stop even though he has asthma. Love him and the band but Love his vocals and range he is amazingly talented and a Great mover/ dancer.
Great video.. Ryan is a great singer.. His voice reflects the depth of the lyrics to us and also his expressions in the videos.. The quality and verity of his voice is just amazing... He is the best and has most beautiful voice in this universe.. love this video.. love Ryan Tedder
For Christina Grimmie's low notes, there's an E3 in her cover of Bound To You (around 1:03), a note that sounds like a brief D3 in her cover of Say Something (around 1:40), some F#3s in her cover of Hold On, We're Going Home (when she sings "I want your heart, love, and emotion"), some brief F3s in her cover of Hello, and a G3 at the beginning of her cover of Counting Stars on The Voice.
thank you soo much! I'll definitely be searching it. I think she hit a B2 once. I just have to find it. for a soprano she was blessed with a great lower register...
Hey! I've just found your channel and I think I'm the most indicated here to tell you, idk if you'll upload more but if you wanna dm me we can talk throught twitter @xdanicx33
Vocal range is just one aspect of what makes a singer great; Ryan primarily sticks to the 3rd and 4th octaves, only occasionally pulling from notes in the 2nd and 5th and hardly ever the 6th, but it's the way he uses his notes that make him such a good singer. Still though, that range is impressive to stay the least.
He has incredible range! Like my fave male singer of all time. He as thick and grungy low notes (To me). Just beautiful. Piercing belted notes (the higher he gets), and a very fluid head voice. The C5 on Apologize at the Native tour in Manila! I absolutely love his C#5 on Burning Bridges! The Sexy Baby Eb5 & F#5! Love the Everybody loves me E5 (F5), and the Halo E5! Loved the What a Wonderful World F5-G5 head notes. The A5-Bb5 on Gold digger, incredible. Adn the Waking Up Bb5 =O
Who are other underrated singers you can think of, whether mainstream or not? I'll try my best to make one for them despite my busy schedule. You may reply on this thread as your suggestion.
Jeffrey Lewis from the Craig Lewis band, he can support his mix up to Bb5 (he's basically one of the only male (if not the only one) that mix properly above E5
I think that last note was a D6... not sure if I would count vocal fry on the bottom, but I’m sure he could go even lower if he wanted. Pretty amazing singer I saw at Red Rocks and what amazes me is his strong high notes that are a nice belt mix above the C#5 area.
His realistic range, and when I say realistic, i mean notes he consistently hits live. That's B2-F5 and this range he usually consistently s ing. The lower & higher notes he rarely uses, such as G2 & A5

Just watched Travis Scott's Netflix documentary yesterday and honestly it's just hype! The concerts are hype! The actual songs are mediocre at best. But this man right here, now he's some real talented artist. He definitely deserves a Netflix show, not just a 2 hour documentary but a whole 8 episode show or something.
have you listened to some of his solo stuff from way way back in the early 2000's? where he was more like a brian mcknight/babyface sound like in the look ua-cam.com/video/F7I0oK3rpcY/v-deo.html on my way here ua-cam.com/video/ahAUVoHy1Qg/v-deo.html it had been listening to his early demos never knowing he would become popular with one republic. he deserves all his success
yeah I have listened to his solo stuff before. I have to say his voice is versatile. most tenors in pop music have voices that tend to sound too boyband-ish. but Ryan Tedder is an exemption. he can sing pop, rock, soul, R&B. for me, him and Brendon Urie have one of the most versatile voices in mainstream music today. about Urie, listen to Panic! At the Disco's Death of a Bachelor and their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. his voice is so versatile as well. It's just amazing.
hey please check out ''I Will Try''-Ryan Tedder...when he sings ''i swear''. Also please ''You Dont Care''-Ryan Tedder theres a really high note when he sings ''Anymoreee......''check it out please
Vocal fry notes can be produced by anyone that low. They're not usually counted as part of a vocal range. Vocal range is singable range. Just like you don't count C7 squeaks by someone.
What is it with people's obsession with bashing Britney's vocal capabilities? Do some research, she actually has more talent than most popstars and it's hella frustrating to have people trash it all the time. I know she has some talk-ish stuff, but come on...
crojalwol oh i know what im talking about. She can't sing good, she used to be good when she was young but her producers or whatever wanted her to sing in that ''baby'' voice cuz its ''sexy''. So now she uses that fake voice of hers.
Hello! I think that the lowest note is about G2 or F2, the C#2 is too low for a tenor and we can't consider a note made in speaking, the emission of voice is different. Sorry the bad english ;)
